  Watched OPERATION FORTUNE: RUSE DE GUERRE with Sandra, and it may be my new least-favorite Jason Statham movie. It kept forgetting to be a comedy, and then kept forgetting to be action, and it totally underutilized the cool premise. Aubrey Plaza was amazing, though.

  A big thank you to the person that recommended Operation Fortune. It's like an early Bond movie without the mysogony and sexism and Hugh Grant does a great job channelling Michael Caine. It's a fun movie and I hope they make a sequel (I'd also like to mention Cary Elwes' suits they are on point).

  I watched Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre (so you don't have to) and Aubrey Plaza's presence in the movie can only be described as coming across like she was there on some kind of dare. The other possibility is that she became disoriented and wandered into the movie by mistake.

  He’s good in a lot of things - The Meg and Operation: Fortune (which happens to be another Ritchie film). I also liked The Mechanic and the first Transporter (sequels were fun, but…). He’s just not often given the opportunity for a lot of range, if any at all.

  In a year of average movies one strives to be the most average. Paint by numbers but everyone was at least having fun. Combine that with a better movie than “Operation Fortune” and you have a fun Guy Ritchie outing. 3/5 stars.
