positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to like this game, but I ended up returning it because it was literally unplayable for me. Research seems to have turned up that it's a mum making a game from her kids' imagination as a solo indie dev, and frankly I find that super sweet and awesome, and I wish them all the best and hope they keep creating cool games! I really love the idea of playing a dragon rider out to save their dad from a villain! My general feedback is that this game seemed to lack quality control - I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I always liked dragon type games. This one is not hard or too easy. Thank you. EDIT: After leveling up my dragon to win the fight to that Dark Black dragon, the game sort of ended. So I decided to complete some achievements and buy the different dragons thinking they would all be in a 'stable'. But to find out that I lost them all, except the last dragon bought. Yes!, this lost my high level dragon too. -_- Now I don't even want to play. Do a fix and let us have a stable full of our hard work…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's janky, runs pretty bad and the grammar needs a complete overhaul. But some dude has finished and shipped a respectable working game to Steam where you travel around in a 3D world, fight with a sword and shield, buy and mount different dragons, shoot stuff with fireballs and complete a variety of linear quests. It's not trying to do any one thing extremely well, but it does a lot of different things to a satisfactory standard, which is really impressive because the dev has somehow found a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →On the Wings – Birth of a Hero 3 – 7 hours to complete, On the Wings – Birth of a Hero is an open-world RPG where you choose to play as either Bruce or Ursula, a pair of siblings who soar into an adventure after rescuing their first winged companion from hunters. There is a variety of quests, enemies, general wildlife, and dungeons to explore. While you play, you will gradually unlock eight unique dragons, each with distinct designs, flavor texts, and elemental attacks. While your dragon can…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thanks for making me forget my problems in my life for a short time. :D Cave level was a little bit long. I don't like mazes anyway but overall gameplay, dragons, silent NPCs, Village ambience were very nice. It needs more work to make it better but I think it is very good game for an indie. Snake dragon is awesome btw
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a nice little game with... dragons!! I love dragons and riding dragons, and the dragons in this game are honestly pretty cute. I like the way they move and the coloration of each subtype is pretty. The controls for the dragon are nice and I was really pleasantly surprised to find the controller support was nice. The control scheme was a little awkward and sluggish primarily for the human character, but playing as the dragon is intuitive and nice. Mana (aka what you use for your breath…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a solid game with a big ambition. Its essentially a very linear adventure game where you can ride a dragon and follow a series of quests. It runs fairly poorly and the translation needs some work but overall for a single developer his doing a great job. Multiplayer on the way as well!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is playable, BUT it is early access as it gets. From my 1 hour of gameplay I can tell that the game has potential and heck it's on my watch list. CONS: -Game is unoptimized; I can run GTA V on High @60 fps, here I need to lower it to "Good" graphics quality to get even FPS -Janky movement: there's something about the movement that is a bit off, especially flying the dragon. -Camera/POV: well you can increase POV with the scroll wheel, unfortunately while flying the dragon the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sweet and wild! I like the story. Flying with Dragons on large forest gives you a good taste. You fly up up up and dive with your all speed. Controllers are chosen very wisely. I don't even move my hand to press any related key. If developer puts little bit more effort and content, I would say this might be a studio work instead of an indie. Looking forward to see multiplayer mode. Keep working!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great novel. I played the game like reading a novel. Story is very smooth. Missions are clear and not too difficult. You enjoy the riding and flying. Dragons are well created. I like the Thunder Cloud dragon especially. When he throws fireball to enemy, a thunder is just get down on his head as well :D Viking musics are cool, short loading video is entertaining, diving wind sounds are nice. i am glad to buy this indie masterpiece with this price. it deserves its price
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cheap, focuses on Dragon riding and dragon companion, made by solo dev who seems to genuinely keep updating the game. Has a lot of potential and worth following. Although, at the moment of writing this, don't expect anything sensational. This game still needs years worth of polish (because only one person is working on this). But I feel like it will get there eventually.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow :D I like it. I have played very little but I think this game is worth keeping in the library. I will play more next weekend and I will definitely write a long review. As a beginning, I can tell that there are some grammar mistakes but not a big deal for me because I understand the tasks easily. Developer can work on it a little bit.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't know where to start to comment, but I don't like dragon-themed games easily. Therefore, I approached this game with a bit of prejudice, but the game surprised and impressed me a lot. As soon as you enter the game, missions and directions have been successfully placed so that you can easily adapt to the game. The graphics are very satisfying. The map design of the game and the sounds are really immersive, at the same time, the character control and the driving mechanics of the dragons…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My dreams have officially come true I'M RIDING A DRAGON!!! I didn't expect dragons to look this good. Even though new dragons can be bought, I won't let you go my pitch black dragon <3 I'm so happy :') There are no boring or long npc conversations, we can progress quickly in the game. I'm very curious how the multiplayer will be.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can easily say that Flying with Dragon is awesome! You hear its wings' sounds, its growlings and fireballs' sounds. Environment is perfect. You have very nice view to watch. Ahh one good advice! Please hide UI when player rides his Dragon. Watching mountains and forests from top will be much clearer. Honestly, I was not expecting this good, I recommend this game with a great pleasure. Love the menu music btw! Good Sides: - Nice Environment and Views - Flying Mechanics - Sounds and Musics -…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good and kind of nostalgic feeling, nice quests and good music. I even like just fooling around on the map and doing little things. It's genuinely enjoyable to ride a dragon. I'm expecting the game to be even better on the full release since it's early access now. Totally recommended++
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very ambitious for a team of one. I am having fun. Who doesn't like riding a dragon. The dragon controls are good, the graphics decent. Everyone outside your village seems to have a catapult (was there a sale?) and wants to kill your dragon. So easy missions are not too easy. Even a bear had a catapult :) You can't go wrong at this price. I am in the early game, so I am not sure how lone the missions go. But I have gotten my money's worth of dragon riding! I hope that multiplayer (coop…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow! I ride a Dragon! That is awesome. There are 8-9 different dragons but my favorite dragon is Old Gray Dragon. It has got ultra hit flame. When it throws fire ball, 50-100 arrows appeares and gives extra damage! Thunder Dragon is cool as well. When he shoots fire, a thunder also comes from sky and gives big damage :D nice idea!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love dragon movies and games. I am great fan of Skyrim. This game is an indie I know and I respect that. The story is good there are no much extra characters who feed the story more but no worries. It is good enough. There is a village, forest, mountains, graveyard, castle, caves, etc... Nice and mid-length adventure.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has very nice graphics, but this is overshadowed by the following: 1. The sound of the menu/UI buttons is AWFUL and very loud. Please make it ANYTHING ELSE. Every time I want to close a menu, hit next, continue my game, or interact with any kind of interface; "KA-CHUNK!" 2. I cannot stand momentum-based camera movement. I don't know why any developer would choose to add this to their game, as it makes it unplayable in my book. Oh, you wanted to pan the camera over here? Too bad, it's…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought the game for my young brother but we spent time by playing together. Good and cheap game. Looking forward to hearing about relasing of Multiplayer mode. We can play together with my brother.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hahaha nice game. I have completed 11 tasks and bought 3 different dragons in 20 minutes. And that makes you feel great. You don't spend tens of hours to collect some coins, experience bla bla bla and buy weak weapons or mount low level horses. Bam bam bam I liked it at all
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little game with Dragons!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Open world map is nice and big enough but not like Skyrim or Elden Ring. Anyway, it keeps you busy and I have completed more that 10 tasks and trained 2 dragons in an hour. There are 6 dragons to go more and i think there are more missions in the game. Fireballs are great but developer should add more unique skills to dragons. Anyway, good game with very cheap price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It has a nice and smooth start in a warm house with your mom. Village is very sweet and you really suppose yourself in a nordic village. I havent played that much yet but i will definitely continue to play to make a better review in detail. So far so good!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For an indie game this is awesome! I can't believe that only one female developer developed this because there are too many little details. Lots of dragons, NPC characters, a linear and tasty story, lots of different language translations (there are some tiny mistakes but i don't mind it), soldiers, demons :D everything! I wonder what she took as inspiration when designing the game :D A hero who - supposes that his/her father is dead (Star wars Darth Vader), - living in a viking village…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game recently entered into beta from Early Access and it offered an enjoyable experience. Looking forward to see how it develops further in the future. There is a lot of potential.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An EA indie gem in the making. A unique experience worth buying! YOU WILL FLY DRAGONS. YOU WILL BLOW UP PATHETIC LITTLE SOLDIERS AND SEND THEM FLYING LIKE RAG DOLLS CAUGHT IN A BLAST FROM THE SKY AS A DRAGON RIDING DEMIGOD. HA HA HA HA HA If this sounds fun, you should enjoy this! This is the kind of gaming experience you can only really get through indie game developers. It's a labor of love, a unique experience that gives you a fresh and different feel which is what indie developers excel…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is enjoyable for sure, do we have a dragon stable I am not seeing though? Or do we lose our previous dragon everytime we buy a new one?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bruce is my man! Dark Rider is too powerful come on. Make him little bit easier. When his dark dragon fires, you have to move and escape otherwise it kills your dragon easily. Otherwise, you should train your dragon more in order to make it more powerful.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice indie game. Not that too long. I will continue later to play but I got good amount of time gameplay to make this review. One aspect that struck me from the outset was the stunning visual design. The forest setting was meticulously crafted, with vibrant colors and breathtaking landscapes that breathed life into every corner of the game. It was a joy to explore the intricately designed environments, from the sun-dappled meadows to the mysterious depths of ancient ruins. The attention to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ursula foreveeeeeeeeeer! (= Come on add some special skills to my girl. Or make her dragons female.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think it is a nice game, I enjoyed it while I was playing. But please add some Japanese and Chinese Dragons as well. It would be good to see much more different Dragons from different cultures. Overally, it is a very good indie game. The price is really cheap for this kind of third person shooter style rpg games. More than A but not AA :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its not drakan but better than nothing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gameplay is good and entertaining. Characters and story is not bad. Graphics are good for an Indie game but if developer can find some good 3D artists and animators, then this game will be in AA games category. Maybe there are budget problems but i say what i see. Very big potential when you compare with other indie games. Carry on don't stop!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, I like the game a lot! It entertained me a lot, I spent lots of time and got all the dragons finally. Firstly, the story is very smooth. Unlike other RPG games, you understand the tasks clearly and know what to do. :D this was a very good point for me. Animations and Graphics are more than OK but not great. Especially, when I fly with my Dragon and burn all the soldiers, catapults and ships, I feel myself like Khaleesi. It is VERY VERY SATISFACTORY :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good game. The latest version makes me so excited.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's fine for the price. But there is a lot of room for improvements and one of the achievements seems to be bugged. Flying is fun but not amazing. But you do get to buy and ride a lot of Dragons although most of them feel the same. The music is fine, but the sound effects sometimes feel a bit crushed or broken. Overall not much of a challenge but a good way to kill a few hours. 6/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →when are you going to finish the game? 2 and a 1/2 years after release and still said multiplayer available at release
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I liked the game at all. Hey you fly with a dragon. Dragon flying mechanics can be better. Developer should work on them a little bit more. But everything is very smooth and exciting (the rest). I will give more feedback when I play more. <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Have one word for this tasty and sweet game. NICE TRY! , Way better then i thought it was going to be and playing fine with KB and Mouse. It supports Gamepad as well but it is little bit more difficult to play than keyboard and mouse. On fantastic graphics it plays smooth as butter 50-70 fps on 1080 p with a 3600x raizen and a 1080 classified and 32 GB of DDR-4... def worth buying. Please please please release multiplayer version, it will be very fantastic to play together with my best friend…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First and foremost I love the fact that this game was made by a mom for her son. It is very heartwarming. But I also don't get it. Why does this game have so many positive reviews? It is being sold on Steam so I think it needs to be held at a higher standard than just letting it get by with a good rating because of the heartwarming backstory. The gameplay is bad, it uses generative ai. The story is boring and the dragons feel weak. I cannot think of a single positive thing to say about this…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun game where you can fly dragons and burn the world down and do some quests. I hope in future releases, the island will become bigger and there are more side quests. The currently strongest dragon requires level 25 before it can be bought, though I finished the game in just over 4 hours, while being only level 20. This is a well succeeded dragon game, which reminds me a bit of the old game Drakan from 1999, which I had poured many hours into back then.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/KWr7LvisNk0 Barely getting over the bar to be considered a 'functional product' the execution is bare bones in every way.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it's alright, just a lot of mediocre quests. but hey, you get to ride a dragon.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I faced the dreaded Dark Rider and suffered a crushing defeat. But instead of giving up, I channeled my hırs (passion) and went on a hunting spree in the forest, leveling up and gaining experience. Armed with upgraded skills and gear, I challenged the Dark Rider once again. It was an epic battle, but this time, fueled by determination, I emerged victorious. On the Dragon Wings taught me the power of hırs and the importance of rising after defeat. It's a game that reminds us to never give up and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Holy S#%t, It's Addictive! :D Alright, buckle up, folks, 'cause I'm about to drop some serious truth bombs about On the Dragon Wings. This game is like crack for RPG junkies like me. I mean, damn, I couldn't pry myself away from it for hours! Picture this: you're this badass kid named Bruce, on a mission to save his old man. And guess what? You stumble upon a freaking dragon in the damn forest! Talk about epic! From that moment on, it's all about teaming up with your newfound dragon buddy and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A Captivating Adventure with On the Dragon Wings! I recently had the pleasure of immersing myself in the captivating world of On the Dragon Wings, and I must say, it was an exhilarating experience. As a fan of RPG games, I was drawn to the game's unique premise centered around Bruce, a young boy on a quest to save his father. The game masterfully combines elements of fantasy and adventure, transporting players into a mystical forest where an unexpected encounter with a dragon sets the stage for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Holy this is an awsome game if we still where in the year 1995, but you know - we arent
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty enjoyable actually. Much better than I expected, but still has its issues. Great start, keep up the good work.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →On the Dragon Wings is a cute and charming game about taming and fighting dragons. It is a bit short, but is fun for the playtime it offers. Controller can be quite wonky at times, though it's nothing unplayable. Overall is something to relax with. Achievements are quite easy to get, with not too many that are out-of-the-way to achieve. The dev fixed some in a recent update, which is nice to see being done after a game is fully released :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wish the dev team much success. Game is interesting. Not having a map really slowed down the gameplay, and maybe the fun. Definitely an old school single dev vibe going. I recommend because of the love and passion put into development.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is not in Early Access, and yet the version inside the game says it's a Beta build. Beta traditionally means "feature complete" and awaiting polish. This is not feature complete, a decent number of things say they will be unlocked in the Full version. The graphics are pretty bad but that's fine. The dialog is terrible, clearly not written by a native English speaker, but also not even competently translated. This is actually worse than some of the straightforward asset flip titles.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun little game for kids and others as you go on this adventure. You fly and shoot fire! Some missions drag a little due to taking time to find enough wolves and stuff or the missions where you are in maze like environment with no map of where you been nut over all it is a descent game. Also could fix some camera angles so when you turn you don't see the wall behind you but over all I would give this game a 7 out of 10 . I mean you get to fly around with a dragon! ;-) It feels a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game isn't the prettiest nor the most advanced.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First of all, I want to say that I’m a big fan of everything dragon-related, so an open world game that lets you ride a dragon, take to the skies and burn your enemies caught my attention at first glance. However, while it has very good potential, there is work to be done for it to reach a great game status. For that reason, I’ve been thinking, and I wanted to share my recommendations. But before I speak further, I must note that I don’t have even the minimum idea on how to program a game, and…
