Can I review my own game?...well I'm gonna because it came out great and it's been long enough that it all feels new again. Absolutely great game! If you want a little bit of action, some interesting but never frustrating puzzle solving and a bunch of amazing environments to play through then this is a perfect fit. Loved the story and all the characters, really felt like an adventure through a fleshed out world and every new room gave me something to be wowed by. It continues to be a VR must…

Experienced on the Meta Quest 3 You can view my full video review here: https://youtu.be/r4XUdJyaw9c Moss 2 VR picks up where the original Moss left off and improves the experience in almost every aspect. It is exactly what a sequel should be. This is a must buy for VR and an instant classic. Game is about 5-7 hours long, depending on play-style. The worlds environments are highly detailed. The art-style is breath-taking. The boss fights are fun and unique. New gameplay elements are…

Vermintide: the beginning Jokes aside though, it's not only a great addition to the first part, but also a huge improvement overall. From the combat mechanics (that are now more diverse and somehow easier/less annoying than some in the first part) to puzzles (especially liked the last level) and the world decorations. It's hard to believe that this masterpiece is done by such a small studio. We really need more games like this one: a relaxing sitting experience, yet very engaging. And I can…

Utter delight of a game and a wonderful use of VR, easy 8.5/10, big improvement in every way over Moss Book 1. Have very little complaints. I hope after the team finish the MOBA Moss multiplayer free game that they return to a new single player IP VR game if they can.

It is a dark time in the world as I finally come back to finish this - both literally and figuratively - and we have no Reader to guide us. I learned a lot playing this - one of the most surprising was what it is like to cry while wearing a Reverb G2. Tears, joy, beauty, darkness - they are all here for you to discover. Come back to the world of Moss and see where you and your friend go, from the depths of despair to the heights of heroism. Now back to my own story, and the real world. A…

Moss book 1 is good, book 2 is great. This sequel manages to correct on any complaints i had of the first. The story is much more engaging, and well paced. The combat is more varied and fun. The animations across the board are much more polished. The graphics and art direction are more over the top and fantastic than the first. Environments, level layout, and puzzles are greatly improved. And the bosses are fun, with emotional weight, plot reasons for the fight. Performance of the game across…

It's bigger and better in every aspect than Moss Book 1 (it even introduces new playable characters, new weapons, new features, ...), except in one thing: it's not as surprising as the 1st one was. With this game I had the same sensation I had with Psychonauts 2: Both are excellent sequels, and the only reason for not fully enjoying them is that you already played their 1st parts time ago (it's much better to play for the 1st time both in a row so the dopamine is still fresh). In summary: it's…

The first Moss was so impressive, I clearly understood it to be [url=https://steamcommunity.com/id/Eincrou/recommended/846470]one of the best VR gaming experiences I've had. Moss: Book II is a safe, iterative sequel that does everything the original game accomplished, and adds more. Those additions were enough to push Moss: Book II over the top. It's now my favorite VR video game. The boss fights are spectacular, and require direct interaction from the Reader (you, the player). The…

The best part of Moss is looking down into the detailed and crafted diorama and in VR being able to peek your head around or stand up and see from a different perspective, but then as Quill is walking for a second or your eyes wander to a different part of the stage and you see the larger environment and backgrounds and feel just as small as the cute little mouse. Every part of this game is just as solid as the first and a standout title for VR.

Like the first Moss, this is a puzzle-platformery VR game with a little bit of action/combat thrown in. Like the first game, it has some fairly standard ideas with pushing blocks around, manipulating enemies to push buttons, etc. There are a few more interesting mechanics thrown in but nothing groundbreaking in the puzzling or combat. That said, this game is carried by vibes. It feels like your grandma baked you cookies and is reading you a story (complete with character voices) about a mouse…

I don't have much play time but I've played through the first Moss on my Quest 2. Now I have a Quest 3. I'm 50 and have been gaming for 45 years. Moss is a delightful game, and a gentle introduction to VR. I never had to worry about motion sickness while playing Moss. The puzzles remind me of the old game Abe's Odyssey. You and Quill work together to solve things. I'm not great at puzzle games, so it takes me a little longer to figure things out, but I feel good about myself when I do. The…

Imo this game is a massive improvement over the first in terms of basically everything. I think it's really sad that the sequel didn't become as popular. The puzzles here are actually fun, they actually make you think and try stuff until it works. There's tons of variety and creativity too. Also some unique mechanics that only make sense in VR, or the VR perspective makes it different enough from if it weren't VR. The world is as charming as ever. Combat is not difficult, it's usually also…

Absolutely fantastic game. Very much evolved from the first one in both combat and puzzles, which are both elevated and very fun and engaging. And with the lovely story, elevated even further by the outstanding voice acting, this game should be a no brainer in anyone's VR headset. Gameplay, story, animation, voice acting, all hit it out of the park. Congratulations and a big thank you, Polyarc for making such a great game.

Moss II VR is a remarkable virtual reality adventure that successfully expands on the foundation established by its predecessor, delivering a richer story, more refined gameplay, and a stronger emotional connection between player and protagonist. Developed and published by Polyarc, the game once again follows the brave mouse Quill as she embarks on a perilous quest after obtaining a powerful magical artifact that has drawn the attention of dangerous enemies. The Moss series brought back to me the joy of VR. It's not the usual first person slop that relies on gameplay mechanics bearable for flat screen games. Sequel continues the story of first game with more gameplay variety and longer playtime. Visual style haven't changed for good, looking sharp and still able to run smoothly on my elderly system. Character animations is what makes this world believable, best of the best!

If I'm reaching I can only think of 2 minor complaints: 1. The controls take a little getting used to with moving Quill around (again I'm reaching). 2. Same as the first part - it's one of the cutest games in VR!! No bugs or glitches, 10/10. The only part I didn't like is when we're introduced the second character (not Quill), you're told several times that "you are not welcome here, reader", that the characted clearly dislikes you. I felt unwanted there, almost as if the game was telling me to stop playing it. It felt weird. The achievements are harder to get than in the first part. Xenoblade 2, FFXIV and now, Moss: Book II. There is no such thing as a perfect game, but there are such things as perfect sequels. Moss: Book II is easily one of those. It's good. I've played it in normal mode (Demo of the newer Moss bundle) and in VR and I have to say that in VR it's still a completely different experience. Also, in VR you can look around, while the normal version locks the camera and sometimes in a bad way. And it's just so much more enjoyable when Quill is scurrying close around you.
