I have been checking out the updates since early access and i must say they have come a long way. The launch had a campaign which has a good story and there are some fun characters introduced. A really good proof of concept that if implemented 'completely' would be a superhit... BUT the game needs a lot of finishing work and it seems like developers stopped releasing updates for the game. If I had seen the date of last update I wouldn't have purchased the game, oh well.

The game lacks much gameplay, and units can't attack enemies on their own, which is incredibly unfair against an AI that can literally attack with all units at the same time, not to mention with much greater accuracy. With new updates and some more time in the oven, I think it can be awesome. It's also very cheap so, can't complain much. Edit- Finished the campaign. To be honest, it's pretty good. Good voice acting and the narrative arc. Missions do get tough later on in the campaign and had to sit on the edge of my seat to succeed. It was fun.
