32 of 32 · most liked firstMidnight's Blessing is a game that really took me by surprise ---- I expected a fairly simple, easy vampire story featuring Dracula himself. And while Drac is indeed a presence to be dealt with, the story is much more involved and complex than I imagined. A very well told story that will catch you by surprise with its many twists and turns, it begins in a very benign and sort of whimsical fashion meeting the main character, Sidni, as she goes about her daily hum-drum chores assisting her mom,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a tough one to review. It definitely has some good qualifications and it has some amazing POTENTIAL. But there are some pretty big negatives that make it very hard to recommend it to someone else. Let's starts withe positives.... Pros: 1. The money or "Krona" is pretty easy to come by. Once you get the shovel there are tons of places you can dig and get free money from it. The weapons and armor are all relatively cheap so far so you don't usually have any issues with being able to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can see there are mixed reviews and the negatives usually gripe about the battles. That leveling takes too long or there are places where you're forced into too many battles. Well, I didn't find leveling difficult at all and, yes, there are a tad too many forced battles for my taste but you can SEE the enemies so you can often avoid them, if you're careful. It's only near the end of the game where monsters speed up and rush you. So the end battles might be a bit tedious and the level cap is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game moved too slow for my personal taste. I lost interest soon after the first mail delivery quest.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →at 30 minutes in there had not been a battle, mostly just some dumb quests around town, and some humor I did not find funny. at 80 minutes in I had 2 characters, but my combat options were still "attack" and "potion". I found I didn't really feel invested in the story, and the gameplay had become tedious, so I stopped playing
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Uggghhhh. I had a pretty hard time deciding whether to recommend this game or not, but in the end, I decided not to recommend it. I really wish there was an "on the fence" review. Before I critique the game, I would like the developers to know that I absolutely loved the characters and the story. A good story with lovable characters is THE MOST IMPORTANT part of an RPG for me. Sidni is absolutely adorable and I love games with a female protagonist. That said, here is why I don't recommend…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It had a promising start but keeps freezing in the beginning. Right after the fire when the girl reenters town. Not recommended until bug is fixed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This RPG Maker game is not for everyone, but I love it very much and spent almost 70 hours playing it. I happen to be an old school gamer who enjoyed RPG Maker games, and this is just my cup of tea. I actually started playing this game two years ago, and had a great time finishing it. The storyline was interesting, and involves fantasy creatures including werewolves and vampires. I also did not find any major or gamebreaking bug in the game. However, my only problem 2 years ago was that I was…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game tried to rhyme the word host with lost. If that isnt enough for you to avoid it, it is also poorly designed to encourage purchase of their "official guide"
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I keep getting stuck early on in the game, I'm trying to get a refund but steam support's page for it comes up blank.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A postgirl goes on delivery and at night the house is burnt. Why her mom was hiding her from vampires? What’s the use of the amulet on Sidni? There’s the mystery of Sidni’s parents identity, also why is she chased by Dracula? You’ll learn more little by little. PROs: - worth the money, did it in 22h - Unique story of Sidni’s personal quest of her origins - Learn about characters’ backstory, they have bahavious and way of speaking - Find NPCs from the tale and acquaintances from aveyond…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →SPOILERS AHEAD DONT READ IT. This is my review on this game! If you haven't play this game, don't read it. If you insist you want to read it, go ahead. I thought this game would be pretty nice since I received a coupon for purchasing this game which costs a dollar. However..Since I learned basic things in using RPG Maker, when I first played this game, the first thought was "What were they thinking?" I found so many errors/bugs in this game and sometimes there are parts that made me bored.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Aleight, here's my review. Honestly, i never purchased this game, i reccived a code for it via a raffle, but that's a story for another date. So, here it goes. -REVIEW INCOMING- Midnight's blessing takes place in a fantasy medevial era with vampires and etc. The story starts off with the main chracter's father escaping vampires, before meeting his fate. 16 years later,Our main character's name is revealed as sidni, a 16 year old mail girl. You start off delivering mail, but i got slightly…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →funny rpg game made with RPG maker. lots of different levels and characters - game feels like a kid's animation movie. great for the price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tags: Topdown - RPGMaker & Party RPG Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Invisible walls world design. Unclear quests. Amateur writing. Stock assets. Poorly made maps, distorted assets. A rat in a village said nothing to see here just a regular non speaking mice. You play as a literal child errand boy and the game starts with overdramatic vampire final showdown scene. Some rooms could not be entered in houses because moving next to the door would not open them.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →RPG Maker strikes again! This is another low effort retro-pixel JRPG ripoff spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." This isn't even a good RPG Maker game. This is fairly poor as RPG Maker shovelware goes, with typically bad writing, bad gameplay balance, and there's multiple reports of bugs and stability problems. We can't necessarily blame the "developer" for this because…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The concept of the game was overall very simple and easy to follow. The story and dialogue was interesting, as well as entertaining. Every character had their own little and unique persona to them, making them different from one another and all the more loveable. Despite what the negative reviews from other people suggests, I'd recommend those who are interested in playing the game to not take other people's opinions into account, but rather surprise themselves with the results of actually…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game centers around a young lass who yearns to get away from her ho-hum existance... and gets her wish when she must go on a journey to discover the truth about the dark things swirling around her. Gameplay is decent, characters are interesting, and the plot is engaging. On top of that, there seem to be a lot of joking, and even fourth-wall breaking... Would recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Despite its many bugs, I found “Midnight’s Blessing” to be quite enjoyable adventure/JRPG game, with rather nice sceneries, interesting story, witty dialogues and at least one enticing character. The weakest point of the game is probably its combat system; combats can get incredibly grinding, and with bossfights it’s no exception that they can take as long as half an hour. But if you’ve got the patience, if you like this style of JRPG and have already finished Millennium and there is nothing…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I actually thoroughly enjoyed this game. Minimal issues with bugs or anything to be frank. The music is always wonderful, and the plot line did make me laugh a few times, despite me rolling my eyes occasionally at some of the stuff. ALSO. I ship bubbly red head with dark mysterious 800 something vampo man. I really hope the second one gets added on to steam. I definitely recommend this, as an avid player of many RPGs. For me, this is right up there with Stargazer, plot wise. AND length wise.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The story drags forever, graphics look like a 90s demo, controls feel slippery as oil on glass. Yet the midnight moon does a disco and the tiny monster crumbs taste like carrot cake, oddly charming!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →🎮 Midnight's Blessing Review ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5) The Good: 💡 Nice Overall Idea. The overall concept is nice and has potential. Interesting premise at the core. 🎹 Organ Section. The idea near the organ shows creative game design intent. The Bad: ❓ Direction Confusion. In the end I couldn't figure out which direction to go or where to find the key object. Poor navigation guidance hurts the experience. ⚔️ Endless Battles Become Tedious. Searching for all the key objects made the endless battles…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This had an interesting premise, but lacks in map development, enough guidance for hints to figure out the next location of quests, and very unfriendly battle system. Some bosses are incredibly hard and make you wonder if there is a glitch. And in fact, I was unable to progress the game because I would kill Dracula first and the demon lives forever. And Dracula, without the sprite, is still able to attack my characters. When the battle goes on for 15 minutes with no hints of ending in an…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In the beginning, the game looked rather interesting so I decided to give this game a go. I love RPG games and I thought at first this game had plenty of potential and one that I'd want to invest time into. Boy was I wrong. I've invested more than 15 hours of game play out of sheer spite to want to finish this game because I hate having to leave a game unfinished. That being said, I will not likely finish this game. There are no maps, no walkthroughs, and no suggestions on how to defeat a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's fun at first but then the weapons and new skills become few and far between and you have to hunt for crystals that have skills for individual players. This probably starts around the time you hit the prison part then into the snowy lands. If you don't explore every single place, you won't find them and that character must be in the party when you do find a crystal for them. In the meantime, your enemies respawn time and time again and constantly run toward and attack you. The way the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice jrpg game. I didnt like lv cap at 30. Also small bugs, one that iritated me was at end of the game, in Dracula castle, I could not enter code behide hanging skeletor. Code was found in a safe at castle. All in all, nice little game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had plenty of fun with this game and have played it a couple of times through. Perhaps in a few years, I will do it again. Good story and fun rpg.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun and amazing / funny storyline!

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →problem is ITS HARD TO LEVEL UP..and it takes forever LOVE THE BURRITO MASTER
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Midnight's Blessing is an adventure RPG with a nice plot, simple battle system, and maps that are nicely laid out. It's biggest flaw is the numerous bugs, which make the game impossible to complete in some circumstances. The premise of the story is that a young girl suddenly finds herself running away from home, at her mother's request, to avoid some kind of danger. She must explore the world, and uncover the truth about herself, and the spell that was placed on her as an infant. There are…
