positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Goooooood. Like, seriously gooooood. I can't even words good. Brain's off. Too Happy. But anyway, get this if you're a fan of: 💎 Jazzy soundtrack 💎 Fantastic artwork 💎 Fantasy/magic meets science 💎 GOOD PLOT 💎 Badass MC / MC with Strong Personality 💎 Cute & SEXY waifusss 💎 Have read Classroom of the Elite Light Novel. Give this VN a go since it's written by yours truly, the same author himself. Badge & Dagger is a sequel Meteor World Actor (Ryuusei World Actor), so be sure to get the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great sequel to the first game that got denied by steam… S*x with Hitler 1-5 is fine but a censored Japanese visual novel that’s emphasis isn’t even on sexual scenes gets banned. That being said the 2 games main stories are amazing, but the short romance/sexual routes feel super shoe horned in. If this was a static visual novel with just one main route it’d be a 10/10. Still strongly recommend if the synopsis sounds at all interesting to you!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Before playing Meteor World Actor: Badge & Dagger, make sure you've completed the first game, Meteor World Actor, you can buy it on Johren, JAST or Kagura Games. Make sure to complete the story routes in this order: Chiffon → Komachi → Mell → Claris → Epilogue Doing so will give you the proper context and understanding needed for the sequel. Badge & Dagger picks up right after the epilogue, where Ruka doesn’t end up with any of the previous heroines. The story this time is noticeably shorter…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this story is sooo goooooddd its a shame that the prequel got reject by steam seriously i cannot wait they make announcement about the sequel
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Detective noir VN + jazzy music + amazing art = Fused with supernatural powers and charasmatic characters. The story keeps you engaged and wanting to find out more. Easy to read and voiced. So good! The story pacing is up beat and a bit on the faster side. Normally, something with this quality is over $30, so the price is great. Gotta catch em all! positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great visual novel, I recommend it to anyone who wants a good read. The mc is so based as well. However I strongly recommend you purchase the 1st instead. Which you can find on a certain site I won't name. But the 1st is significantly better imo and has much more content. So before you play this one I suggest you purchase the 1st, it's about $40 but it so much longer and it's worth the buck. FOR DEGENS, if you're only buying this for the nsfw content then I suggest you don't, this game has…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is "expansion" of Meteor World Actor and as such, there is not much point in reading this unless you read MWA. Unfortunetly MWA coudn't be released on Steam because Valve is very inconsistent in which VNs they allow and which they dont allow to be on Steam .... Regarding MWA Badge and Dagger ... it is pretty good detective thriller with badass protagonist and badass antagonists. I really like this kind of story, too bad Ruka is such jerk, it makes it hard to like him, but fortunetly…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Meteor World Actor was one of the visual novels that I really enjoyed but was removed from steam. So excited to see Meteor World Actor: Badge & Dagger released on steam. You need to read Meteor World Actor before reading Meteor World Actor: Badge & Dagger and you can find patch 18+ in johren. story : 10/10 art: 10/10 ( character: very cute ) music: 9/10 Great game !!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun ride for people that like thriller police stories. Story might be double fun for people that like for example Psychopass, both of them are centered on hard life of cops in sci-fi city filled with junkies and lawless districts, also criminals using special powers. Ruka as MC cop is incredibly charismatic the sort of vulgar but living at 100% guy who tries to change the world in his own way. It's kinda annoying to not have "significant" evil character in a big story like this. The way it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Meteor World Actor: Badge & Dagger 11 – 13 hours to complete, Meteor World Actor is a fully voice acted Noir Detective VN set in a Dystopian city, but combined with the fantasy genre adding races such as Elves, Pixies, etc… and magical abilities! Centered around the National Police Agency’s 13th Division, a dead-end office full of oddballs and misfits that can’t be easily placed in other departments; Ruka is worse than your average cop. Hardly tolerable to his own co-workers, regularly…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have mixed fellings about this Ive played the first one and loved it and this one was a good experience but it is a little short. and have just two heroines not a lot of choices. Id call it 1.5 rather that a sequel. It gives us some info on what we will be doing next game. So it a 7 for me I still enjoyed the VN
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wish that I had listened or even read the reviews before. Don't consider buying this game if you're planning on getting a full fleshed-out story or any freedom in story progression - or worded differently - getting heroine routes of some sort, because this is not what this game provides. However, if you're also planning on getting the Prequel aswell - just not on Steam unfortunately - this can actually be a really good read. The verse the world is set in, aswell as the characters are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Intriguing sequel, though shorter than I would have liked, unless there's some kind of secret True Route that I overlooked. The Fuyumi route was disappointing, which makes sense, because it reads like the writer trolling you over what a dumb idea it was to get her and the protagonist together in the first place. If you get that route, just reload and get onto Ryoko's instead; that's where the meat of the game is. Also, play the demo first, and if you're not enjoying yourself, then don't bother.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Before playing this VN, you must have played Meteor World Actor first since this is an expansion of the first game. That said... Few VNs make me finish all the routes while also keeping me intrigued by the plot and what happens next. Meteor World Actor + Meteor World Actor: Badge & Dagger are VNs that are not perfect due to their unfinished endings, routes with conclusions that leave quite a few things in question, and unexplored lore, but other than that, they are incredible in every sense.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was searching for VN to try out and this was the first to popped up,since this is a first time I play a VN game (if excluding the Persona series),and I must say this game is certainly interesting yet the problem I have with this is THIS GAME IS A SEQUEL,so I didn't really know some of the stuff going on after 1 hour in,It's kinda weird that they decided to put a sequel on and not the 1st game. However the art is really good and the MC is great imo. Would recommend playing the first game…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →9/10. An excellent VN, surpassing even its predecessor. I personally can't encourage you enough to try it out - both the first one and this sequel. Just a preface: this VN shines best at its cast and world-building, so its bread and butter aren't just about the plot, but also the daily lives of the detectives. + The characters are outstandingly written. Each possesses an intriguing and distinctive personality that is consistently developed throughout their arc. They feels... very much alive,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really darn good sequel, albeit a short one with cliffhanger ending, and as of writing this no announcement for third installment. The trilogy itself is a incredibly great read! Can't recommend it enough to anyone. Good character and background designs, darn great soundtracks and a really good and interesting plot and well fleshed out character background. Although this sequel didn't focus on heroine routes too much. Fuyumi's route felt awkward and rushed in terms of their relationship, but her…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If there was a midpoint between recommending this game and not recommending this game, my opinion would be somewhere in that area, however, I'm still leaving a positive review since I love this series' worldbuilding, characters and art, but the writer (Kinugasa Shougo) just can't make proper endings to their routes. Similar to the first game, there are lots of plot points that just feel like it's too short or just make you ask more questions instead of answering them. The romance is also…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A sequel/interquel to Meteor World Actor, which feels more like an expansion or what I believe to be a "fandisk". It provides some extra adventures/cases to enjoy and the possibility of doing routes for Fuyumi and Ryoko, which have also been enhanced as characters with the addition of new sprites. It's basically more Meteor World Actor, and considering how MWA works, this content could have been in the original game with basically no issues (specially Fuyumi's route). The fact that this isn't…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ story and everything in it. scammed out of my money and time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not Bad. Not Bad.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I want the third game right about now. The story is amazing and the music is a banger. Fuyumi's route was short but it was great, get yourself a girl like her and It seems like Ryoko's route is the canon-route. So with that, Ruka and Ryoko having *** is canon :0 Ryoko is great and all but I prefer Fuyumi because she's a high-risk high-reward type of girl. Play the first game before playing this. You'll be so confused If you play this without knowing anything from the first game..
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →OST slaps too hard
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just finished the game so this will be as fresh of a review as I can do about this game. I'm between really liking the game and simply liking the game. I really liked the story, which was fun and interesting and kept my invested in it, loved the visuals of the game and enjoyed the sound track. I liked that the game tried as much as possible to give us the personalities of the characters and i think you can really feel what they want you to feel with/through them. Unfortunately this comes with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the art style alone already had me hooked prior getting myself a copy of this game; yet i wasn't expecting to be so intrigued by the interesting plot & the overall setting of this world which MWA has to offer..!! can we please get the first game to be on steam too i cannot believe how much i am missing out not playing the series from start to finish... ><!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall, MWA: B&D is a good (albeit short) sequel to the first game, revealing more of the grand plot and the protagonist's journey to bust it all open. The most enjoyable part of the story is still the protag's snark, of course. The romance, while realistic, is a bit boring.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of them is just using more in game assets if I can find them. Not every VN asset dump has misc assets, but sometimes they do, and I want to use a bit more of them. It also helps because I've read Meteor World Actor but yeah, got to play around with the phone asset they had
unlabelledView post →It's pretty good, but I am currently playing it uncensored from a different game vendor.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game was okay if you were looking for a simple sleuthing story to read and waste some time on. Not much choices though in the story, only a few multiple choices and feels like the player has less power to influence the story at all as the protagonist has a 'personality' that the story needs to keep up with than the player's own personality with choices to do in the story. The greatest downside is the intermission of chapters... they almost don't exist at all so if you expect a chapter being…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Must have Visual Novel ➡️ Art & Illustration are quite epic in my opinion ➡️ Heliodor did an amazing job on digging deep inside the story and the theme are quite different than others visual novel ➡️ Fortunately the story is 1/3 shorter than the prequel ➡️ The first game didnt make it up on Steam but you could lookup on Johren 👉 Special thanks to Shiravune for translating this masterpiece, hopefully the 3rd part comingout soon.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this game on Steam Deck. For reference, it works great on the Deck except for as of this posting the video section after the prologue forces the game to crash back to SteamOS. Use a Cloud Save on a computer to go past this point to keep playing it on the Deck. The game is very good in terms of art, voice acting, dialogue, and overall story, but it is the 2nd in a series(with the first game not on Steam). You can play this one without knowledge of the first but you will lose…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A pretty good follow-up to one of my more recent favorite VNs in Meteor World Actor. Badge & Dagger is a short sequel that expands upon the world building and narrative driven events of the first VN specifically as it pertains to our mysterious omnipotent antagonistic force in the "Cult". You also get some new faces in the 13th like Alex and Nagare. Overall it was an engaging read and felt good to spend more time with our sarcastic brooding deadbeat detective Ruka Hiryuu. Plus the OST is full…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Meteor World Actor: Badge & Dagger takes the familiar framework of a detective visual novel and gives it a distinctive supernatural twist, mixing criminal investigations, political tension, unusual powers, workplace comedy, and personal mysteries. Developed by Heliodor and published by Shiravune, the game continues the story of detective Ruka Hiryu and the troubled Seventh Republic. Rather than relying on action-heavy mechanics, it places nearly all of its weight on dialogue, characterization,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great visual novel, loved the characters and story. Gotta love how funny Ruka is!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kinugasa kino. Pro at making sequel baits and decent stories.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First off, this is a sequel to Meteor World Actor which you can easily find at other storefronts like Johren or JAST. Well I say sequel, but it's more of a half-step than a full blown sequel. The original has 3-4 common chapters and 4 routes (1-2 chapters each) whereas this one has 2 common chapters and 2 routes (kinda, common chapter 2 is essentially one of the routes). There is a 3rd game that only just recently released in Japan and will likely (hopefully) be translated into English within…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →pretty good, huge cliffhanger though
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Meteor World Actor: Badge & Dagger is the sequel to Meteor World Actor, a Visual Novel that sadly never released on Steam. If you're at all interested in this one, play the previous game first - it will give you a lot of background context and it's an excellent VN, one of my personal favorites. I would not recommend playing it stand-alone, though - definitely play the first one. This sequel is a lot shorter than the first game - reading fast it only took me almost 6 hours to finish it. The…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Forewarning to anyone not yet aware: this is not a real sequel or part 2. It's more like episode 1.5 (light novel style), where not much happens. It isn't a fandisc, so there's no "fan service" or anything but, the few h-scenes are really just shoehorned in and feel out of place, as if someone added them at the last minute, remembering it was an eroge. Additionally, it's not a big deal, but there's basically no new music (though the OST is still good), mostly reused CGs and backgrounds.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fine detective story in an interesting world. Try this if that sounds interesting, hoping there will be continuation.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →disappointing for me too short not full story and cut in the middle of big event the new characters only daimonji have events build her character the others only few conversations and it is disappointing especially nagary she is forensic so i thought she will have big role in cases the same problem from the first one everything feel too coincidental a lot of times they talked about how ruka is good detective but we never see it i hoped they will add more detective work in this one but i was…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Meteor World Actor: Badge & Dagger is a masterpiece when it comes to background art and especially music, but the story itself is... Let's explore the ups and downs of the game (+, +/-, -, ?): +This soundtrack is one of the coolest ever. It's sooo jazzy and funky. Feels like life is good. I can easily imagine myself sitting in a bar listening to this, whiskey in my hand. +The background art is incredible. The city looks so damn cool! +Ryoko. Okay, most of the characters are nice and cool*.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NEXT GAME WHEN!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome story, fantastic antihero protagonist, nice contrast between ridiculous anime trope scenes and serious story scenes, great voice acting, great music - one of the best VNs I've ever read and I'm whole ass invested in this world.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I recommend this game but anyone that wants to try it must have 2 things in mind. 1st: “Badge and Dagger” is sequel/dlc standalone (if you will) of the original one thus, to understand and enjoy it you need to have played the first. 2nd: As I said before its “dlc” sized at best compared with the original, its short and lets a lot of loose ends. STORY The story of both is great if you like “detectives/cops” stories with a little bit of action, mystery, investigations and so on. Badge and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good sequel, disappointed that the next game is a gacha though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played the first game and quite liked it with the main storyline. The heroines routes are rather a bit of a complimentary factor rather than being the main focus(Well it did explained in the first title, but I wont be spoiling it too much). Same thing also applied in this second title. Can't wait for the next installment, but I also hope it would be the final confrontation. I just hope the story won't be dragged too long like how Grisaia: Phantom Triggers did with their 8 volumes of separate…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Reading this VN is like reading the middle section of a book that has been sliced in three pieces. Not reading the first part is okay, but the lack of a real ending is a bit frustrating. Still the piece of a story that is here is interesting. There are only a few misspellings and awkward bits of grammar, but even still this is better written and edited than most entries in the genre. All in all, this is okay and worth the asking price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good crime drama, Compelling characters, Ryouko's ass. What's there not to like?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →MC so based and funny, so sad of the first one get rejected though I might add it non steam Story invested me much❤️🤗
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A short yet amazing sequel to the first entry. Obviously, it inherits some weaknesses of the first, like a lack of development for some characters, and weak heroines’ routes, but they don’t diminish my love for the series. Also, I do like the relationship of Ruka with the heroines feels more mature than the heroines from the first installment, as it would make more sense for someone like Ruka to develop romantic attraction starting with physical compatibility than gradual fondness. If there…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this one feel like a spin-off to set up for the finale, fuyumi's route pretty enjoyable
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good short sequel for the first entry that prepares the plot for climax in the next entry that should be released in February 2026 for Japan version. Hope the english translation will come sooner rather than later. It keeps the good comedy-action formula and Hiryu Ruka reminds me again why he is one of my favourite characters in visual novels thanks to his nasty personality and interaction with other characters. For some reason you can't buy the first entry in Steam but other places sell it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A well deserved sequel to the first MWA. While the romance side of this iteration is much more weaker compared to the first game, it's exchanged with a much more developed plot for the main storyline even if the sequel have a much shorter playtime. Hopefully there would be a third game for the series which expand even more of the setting and Ruka story! Komachi and Claris best girl fight me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →PRAISE OH SHIRAVUNE FOR BRINGING THIS MASTERPIECE TO ME!!!! But fr, the game is good. Storyline is unlike any other. For those interested, I would say give it a go, but minor disclaimer, this game is a part two. Sadly, part one: "Meteor World Actor" isn't available on Steam (though this was the case when I played it). Hopefully Steam would consider bringing the first game available.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow this is peak VN design as far as i know. Engrossing story, top notch BGM, great visuals. I played this without playing the first, and i still enjoyed this very well, although be warned that the dev did not bother to introduce the story other than introducing a bit about the MC. Now, i'm itching fot the first.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →New art, animated fights, more focus, and a much better ending than the first title. For the love of all that is holy, finish the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ series already.
