26 of 26 · most liked firstThis visual novel doesn't want to make you horny, it wants to gut punch you with emotions. Pros + Decent art + Good humor + Heartfelt moments + Characters feel natural + Fleshed out male protagonist Cons - Just a little bit too rushed Final verdict: ☆★★★★★★★★★ 9/10 - Great Let's get this out of the way immediately: I've rated My Summer Adventure rather highly and I still chose to give it a 'Not Recommended' status. I have a lot of positive things to say about the visual novel and barely…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I recently got this game in a Fanatical bundle and didn’t know what to expect. From the cover it looks like any standard ecchi visual novel but it turned out to be far different dealing with many difficult topics including suicide and self harm. I feel the story was extremely well done and myself finished the game 100% in 3 sittings and felt it was time well spent. Don’t let the cover fool you. Very well written and interesting story that goes far deeper than I thought it would. I played it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Depressing and punishing in unfair way. Problem with this kind of game, is that it gives you very subtle, meaningless choices, and punishes you later, by main character acting on its own, in situations which actually _are_ meaningful. so you don't have a control in most critical moments and just watch the mc ruin everything. Okay, I guess this can be some kind of tricky challenge in these kind of games, but this one really triggered me, because right before the bad ending, the authors…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →- Interesting plot - Expressive characters - Witty humor - Good writing style - A hero who does not mumble and does not indulge in mental torment, but acts confidently You will definitely spend a couple of delightful evenings playing this novel!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Anime VN + story + cute waifus = An interesting story in a parallel life/world. Fateful encounters with 2 girls depending on your choices. A summer to remember (sounds like a movie?). [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/35180752-3-point-play/] Follow our curator for similar games

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting story Dark at times Wholesome at times Funny at times Kyoko <3 Kotonoha <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very emotional game, it's short and unpolished, but still managed to evoke some strong feelings in me, which doesn't happen very often lately.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good short game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not recommended. I got this in a Fanatical bundle and finally decided to play it because it is summer and i thought a summer adventure sounded fun. Alas, it was not. The art and music are fine but nothing special. The story and characters weren't very engaging. I think got a bad ending and i have no idea why and don't care enough to play it again, even though i only encountered a handful of choices. But the worst thing is that the MMC is a misogynist a-hole. He talks about when his girlfriend…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While it's very well-written, it's skews more towards wanting to write about difficult and complex emotional turmoil rather than romance, even though that is in there as well. The game seems more interested in exploring the 'bad endings' than leading you to a good outcome. Basically, it wasn't exactly what I was hoping for, but that's not the game's fault, and I enjoyed it enough to grab all the endings (thankyou to whoever wrote the guide). I'd only recommend this if you want a story that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got this from a Steam key bundle and played it purely for the 100% completion. Far from what I'd normally play, and honestly I'd rather have all my wisdom teeth pulled again than play this one a second time. 1/10 Never again.

unlabelledView post →I spent about 4.3 hours with My Summer Adventure: Memories of Another Life, and overall, I had a good time getting 100% of the endings / achievements. The artwork really stood out—characters showed believable emotions from both side and front views, making scenes come alive. But it wasn't perfect. Some music loops felt short and got repetitive pretty quickly, and I spotted several spelling mistakes scattered throughout the dialogue. One thing caught me off guard: the story focused a lot more…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a hesitant recommendation. My Summer Adventure has various pros and cons. Pros - good premise, compelling details in each girl's personal stories, nice character art, and more humour than I expected, which was done well and enjoyable. Cons - the visual transitions could be a little clumsy, some spelling mistakes in the narration, and the controls not always clear (still have no idea how to turn auto on), making the game seem a bit badly made. Also, the emotional depth of the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →idk if my game is just straight glitched but i got to day 2 and keep getting see you in the dlc and sent back to the main menu. everyone else is acting like this is a full game. i fell like my full game is just a demo.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The writers badly disguised fetish with death and depression, the game. Avoid.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My Summer Adventure: Memories of Another Life is a narrative-driven visual novel that blends romance, introspection, and light supernatural elements into a reflective coming-of-age story. Developed by Alkinoy and published by 101XP, the game centers on themes of identity, second chances, and emotional rebirth, using a familiar visual novel structure to tell a story that feels personal and quietly ambitious. Rather than relying on spectacle or high drama, it builds its impact through character…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I found that the the choices to get to all the endings were pretty random. But I still enjoyed the VN
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →wacky isekai goes wrong (EPIC) another good indie vn that is refreshing its nice
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Интересная игра но не понимаю почему она 18+
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a terrible VN, bit it just doesn't do anything to hold my attention. If it either had more QoL features, or more interesting writing, then I'd maybe enjoy it more, but basic VNs aren't for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't have all the achievements for this game but I've spent enough time playing it. I got the "good" ending, with its twists and turns. I also got a lot of the bad endings - some of them made me think "Is that it?" One of the longer ones was quite heart-rendering, and after reaching it twice I decided I had played this game through enough times. It is quite an interesting concept, waking up in someone else's body, in another country with a very different culture. I would highly recommend it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was a great story. I do think the endings were a little rushed. Also there were a lot of choices matters things that seemed to derail the story very hard. All in all though, I'm very happy I played this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think on a surface level, this initially felt kind of clunky with the premise setup as well as the strange visual transitions, music choices, and humour. However the game's writing took a sharp turn for the better and it really felt more raw and emotional as you got deeper into it. I definitely liked Kotonoha more since she felt more complex as a character with a richer backstory. I think this was worth a read, despite having an awkward balance between fun and heavyness.
