unlabelledView post →this movie, Mafia Mamma, is a very important piece of media in the TSCU. she inherits a mob, and ends up running it very well and making people's lives better. very much what we think/hope Taylor is doing. also it's so cute and she gets the girl (it's subtle but explicit if you pay attention) 🥰

unlabelledView post →apparently Toni Collette starred in a movie called Mafia Mamma, which is challenging my default stance that Toni Collette exclusively makes good movies
unlabelledView post →So I'm watching Mafia Mamma (pretty fun movie so far) and one of the main characters newly assigned mafia bodyguards is having an issue with his mother needing meds that she can't afford. I, being probably an idiot, am sitting here going "oh, so even the Mafia doesn't offer a good health plan?"

unlabelledView post →Slightly different but have you seen the Mafia/Housewife crossover that is Mafia Mamma with Toni Collette. Terrible film.
unlabelledView post →I started it passing out midway through Ferrari. Last time I passed out during a movie was when I was watching Mafia Mamma.
unlabelledView post →Toni Collette is that actor where you can learn she's in a movie, and immediately have faith in it, as you know she wouldn't do just anything. Then along came Mafia Mamma...
unlabelledView post →Elsket "Mafia Mamma". Film, Filmoteket.

unlabelledView post →ANYWAY, for the 3rd sequel, I want to see Blake Lively go full Mafia boss, and do a crossover between her and the cast of “Mafia Mamma”, with the Versano family fighting for crime territory with the Balbano family, and hopefully naughty things take place between Blake Lively and Monica Bellucci.
unlabelledView post →Mafia Mamma (2023) Unfortunately, I couldn't finish this film as it was too silly for my taste and I don't know who wrote it but it was embarrassingly bad. It was similar to some Arabic series during Ramadan in trying to force the comedy and this was in that similar zone.
unlabelledView post →EVERY movie had a different director. Twilight 1 was directed by Catherine Hardwicke, who actually directed a new movie in 2023 (that being Mafia Mamma)
unlabelledView post →Mafia Mamma - Film 01 of 2024 A very chill and fun movie. It had jokes I laughed at and I really liked Toni Collette and her interactions with the cast. Better than both The Godfathers. Loved it!
unlabelledView post →Mafia Mamma was a delightfully stupid film. I need a sequel where Toni Collette brings her win making/organized crime empire to Napa.
unlabelledView post →#JustWatched #FilmMastodon 📽️ 🎬 #MafiaMamma (2023) An American mom inherits her grandfather's mafia empire in Italy. Guided by the firm's consigliere, she defies everyone's expectations as the new head of the family business. Touted as an 'Action-Comedy' but lacked both. 2.5/5 ⭐️

unlabelledView post →I just watched MAFIA MAMMA and whew that is a movie that was made and released

unlabelledView post →A completely stupid comedy. It could have been an excellent film for having almost all the conditions for it. Scenography, photography, etc, etc. Catherine Hardwicke's direction is embarrassing. A senseless cinematographic expense, where it would have had the possibility of being a pleasant comedy and it is not for being "silly". it is a pity. SCORE: (0 to 10) : "2" ------------------- Una comedia completamente estúpida. Podria haber sido una excelente película por tener casi todas las…
negative · AI labelView post →The script for this crime comedy is almost as bad as the poster. Fortunately, it has Toni Collette to try and save it -- and she almost succeeds. My ★★½ review of Mafia Mamma (2023) on Letterboxd: https://boxd.it/4dhQn5 #MafiaMamma #Letterboxd
unlabelledView post →It may still be early in the year, but “Mafia Mamma” is a definite contender for worst film of 2023. This vapid comedy (from director Catherine Hardwicke) feels like it was crafted by a soccer mom groupthink, with a ridiculous fantasy story that’s struggling to be hip and edgy. It’s a truly terrible movie that’s a complete waste of time for everyone but those who have the absolute lowest of low standards when it comes to their choice of entertainment. Like most women, American mom Kristin (Toni…
