unlabelledView post →The movie with a 4 star rating was actually pretty decent (No Way Up). I'm giving it a 7. Now I'm watching Halloween (2018) very but very distracted. I'll rewatch it Halloween night. 🎃

unlabelledView post →Crappy shark movie #158 was NO WAY UP (2024). A plane crashes in the ocean & sinks. A few people survive in an air bubble, but sharks have swum into the mostly flooded plane! CHOMP. Comes in at #65/158. Highly questionable physics and paper-thin characterization are the REAL sharks.
unlabelledView post →NO WAY UP is a movie about air travel. It's set in the present and came out in 2024. So why do all the passengers on the plane, even the hip young Gen Z-ers, have paper boarding passes?
unlabelledView post →Another shark movie that needs more sharks, though it has its moments. My ★★½ review of No Way Up (2024) on @letterboxd.social:

Not to be confused with NO WAY OUT, WAY UP, UP, DON'T LOOK UP, WHICH WAY IS UP?, WHAT'S UP DOC?, UP THE DOWN STAIRCASE, or SAMMY THE WONDER-LUMP.

unlabelledView post →Watching No Way Up. A shark movie. Is it wrong that I'm voting for the sharks to finish them all off? Yeah I didn't think so.
unlabelledView post →Just watched No Way Up, utter crap - but the missus loves a crap disaster movie meets shark flick.
unlabelledView post →Crash sequence in No Way Up was probably the best part of the film. I thought the crash in Society of the Snow was spectacular though. the sound design!

Another shark flick but interesting. Some issues like not know the 🙏 over head for 🦈 silly things #nowayup #movies
unlabelledView post →Queer Fear “This movie has no business being this bad for a film with a plane crash and sharks.” — No Way Up (2024) Imagine a group of cardboard characters trapped underwater in what might be the worst mashup of Snakes on a Plane and Sharknado, minus the camp, talent, or reason to exist.
unlabelledView post →#nowwatching No Way Up and while I haven’t finished it yet… I feel this could be a contender for worst movie I’ve seen this year. Trash script. Bland, irritating characters. Asylum level CGI. I hate that I feel compelled to finish this
unlabelledView post →Just watched No Way Up, man that sh!t was thrilling. Love a good shark movie. 🍿
unlabelledView post →Last weekend my movie watch history was very travel themed: Con Air, The Passenger (2023), and No Way Up. Or in my brother’s words, very Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, minus the trains part. Guess I should’ve rewatched Bullet Train to meet the trifecta. 🤣
unlabelledView post →My wife put on this horrible shark movie No Way Up. She’s calling it Sharks on a Plane. I’m calling it Shark Plane. I think my title is better. Anyway this movie kinda blows.
unlabelledView post →Next is No Way Up! Why? Colm Meaney, the lovable grump, is there! I'm not quite sure if this a horror movie or more of a disaster movie, but sharks are scary! Being in a sunken plane is scary! www.imdb.com/title/tt1625...
unlabelledView post →Currently watching "No way up" with friends. A movie about people surviving inside a sinking airplane, after a crash on the open sea. One of my friends is a pilot in training. We have a lot of fun discussing all the logical errors of the movie. Can recommend! #NoWayUp #movies
unlabelledView post →#NoWayUp more like "Sharks on a plane" It actually felt like a decent movie for 15 minutes - until the engine failure scene started. It's so cheap that it ruins the immersion. The rest of the movie is plagued by what I believe is mostly bad writing: poor interactions (which I wouldn't blame on the actors) and a fully predictable plot. The shark scenes are way too cliché. It does manage to keep up the tension, that's how I made it to the end at least.
unlabelledView post →No Way Up was a terrible movie and I'm mad I watched it. I hope the actors get better and eventually have great careers but lawd.
unlabelledView post →#JustWatched #FilmMastodon 📽️ 🎬 #NoWayUp (2024) Characters from different backgrounds are thrown together when the plane they're travelling on crashes into the Pacific Ocean. A nightmare fight for survival ensues with the air supply running out and dangers creeping in from all sides. 2/5 ⭐️
unlabelledView post →Anyone watched No Way Up on Prime? If so is it just bad/bad or bad/good? (I suspect I know the answer already…..) I’m a sucker for for a shark movie.
unlabelledView post →I wonder if this movie will redeem the shark movie after No Way Up let it down so badly
unlabelledView post →#SharkMovie time. This time #NoWayUp with chief O'Brien as a guest role. A plane is crashing in the middle of the ocean and the survivors are trapped in an air bubble in the plane while sharks are outside. The sharks are ok but a bit too omnipotent with who they eat at what time. And the whole time I wanted to know how the airplane doors would work underwater. We also got a shark alien face off. And way too much talking about a plan. I also wish there was a movie with a shark in a trench coat…
unlabelledView post →Now: No Way Up (2024)… oh shit, this one is brand new? Another bad movie my sister recommended.
unlabelledView post →This movie is less realistic than Slotherhouse. No one on the crew had their Open Water certification. Absolute crap. 3 because they killed that one really annoying guy who sucked and I imagine he's the wretched people who wrote/directed this crap. But it's only 1.5 hours so...I kinda like it. Would have been 20 minutes had they just opened the door so...I really hate it.

unlabelledView post →A plane crashes in shark-infested waters, leaving a small group of survivors trapped in an airlock. That's the premise of NO WAY UP, a film I am thus far at odds with my fellow critics over. My review: aisleseat.com/no-way-up.html
unlabelledView post →Terrible Script, dialogue, directing, hammy editing. Music is meh. Poor acting (but they clearly got no support). This crap show's the contempt producers like this have for the audience that gives them money. The writer, director, producers and editor must have been so full of ego that I bet continues today, despite the poor reviews. During the boring minutes (90) I drifted off imagining them all working on these scenes thinking they were amazing, and trying to understand the level of…
