It seems that it is related to another bug: it placed two dread nights on the exact same slot instead on two different ones. When i then ended the turn it showd that little sand clock and never finished ending the turn. Quite emberassing for a new game to have two game breaking bugs right in the tutorial :( And of course they have no button or anything to report issues, either.

I've only started and yet I find the battle system very engaging and fun to use. Each unit has a purpose, and even your basic foot soldiers can be upgraded and synced with their fellows to devastating effect. You'll either learn quickly how to best use your mark, point generation, and bleed (and more) abilities or you're gonna have an unpleasant time. The art is also neat and you can often tell…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Untalented designer that skipped all the math class at school. Let me give you an example: 1. Threat level: In this game, the threat level gives enemy a corresponding percentage buff in HP and STR. In demo, this design is quite okey: you get a threat level that increases for every enemy you kill, so essentially, you get XP and the game becomes a bit harder. That's a very normal dynamic difficulty system. However, in release version, the smartass designer came up with a stupid idea: for…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Turn based RPG game in a dark medieval setting. As you win battles, you gain experience for your army and get other rewards. As you move around map more, your menace increases which makes battles harder. Pros: - Pixel art is great and each character has abilities that can be updated. - Multiple difficulties from very easy to hard. - Need to make choices between getting edicts, improving army, or upgrading your base. Cons: - Cutscenes did not matter and I ended up skipping them. Some…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm a sucker for villain protag. It's a space that I wish more games explored. The bad guys win. There is no salvation. That whole deal. I played the demo of this and expected this full game to build and expand upon the demo. The trailer says you get to choose your villain. Yes, but no. You have to complete Berold's story to unlock villain 2. To unlock villain 3, you must complete villain 2's story. So in actuality, you get 1 villain at the start. Berold had a history in the kingdom as a…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a likeable game, but not a good game necessarily. At this moment, there is no save feature only auto-saves, and this becomes a major issue if you do come across the infamous bugs that will stall your game. It would mean for you that you will just have to force restart your device/crash your game to resolve the issue (more of a symptom management not a real solution) As of this date of review 17/10/25, there is no endgame game play loop (a way to play the game after the campaign) and the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too buggy. Too many crashes. Crashed on start up. Had to select the provided "Vulkan" mode, but had to google what it was first because there was no documentation. Played the tutorial, then it crashed when I tried to play a real campaign. Uninstalled and refunded.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Having spent over 200 hours on previous demo versions and waited many years for this "1.0 Release", my thoughts are varied and complex. For starters, the final game varies significantly from the demo vision. i.e. there are more options to play as, but fewer scenario types to play in combat. It's also much shorter than I would have expected- At about 6.5 hours I've successfully completed all 3 campaigns. Though I'm nowhere near unlocking all the troops, edicts, and artifacts I feel I've seen…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't fully grasp what the hell is going on. Am I supposed to constantly lose units? Leveling them up seems like wasted resources in that case.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is just too random. You have to hope for a map layout that doesn't put all the resources at the opposite corner of them map from the storyline events, because moving around too much gives the enemy massive buffs. You own units have very little synergy, unless you randomly acquire the ones that do.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't think people are giving this game a fair shake. Launch bugs can of course be frustrating, but they'll be patched out soon enough. The actual game itself has surprising depth even with only a short playtime, and the tutorial covers the idiosyncracies well. There are some UI elements that could have been thought out better, but I'm really have a lot of fun with this so far.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed my time, but it's just incomplete and also abandoned at this point.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I waitlisted this game because of how much I enjoyed and kept replaying Synthetic Domain's Mainframe Defenders game. This game is proving to be a lot more difficult to enjoy and get into. After playing 5 hours, I'm finding the battles laborious, and I can see that upgrading the skill tree is going to be such a grind for all the different character classes. I do like the graphics, with their retro pixel style, and the story line is kinda interesting if you take the time to read all the text. But…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alright. So. I will say that this is a good game, but it has a lot of pit falls. Here's a short list. * The game is very short. It's effectively three campaigns of the same game, just changing up the units and leader. But its the same game flow. * There is a lot of random things that are weird. Like you draw cards and select for what units you can play, which makes it less of a tactics game, I feel. * Because the game is so short, I feel like you never really get a chance to fully explore…

unlabelledView post →(TL;DR - the game is fun enough, runs are short, some replayability, visual presentation is great; the writing and the whole sound department kinda either suck or are nothing to boast about at best (as of now, at least)) Having completed multiple runs with all three leaders and unlocked most content of the game, I lean towards a positive review and would give it a 6/10 for the following reasons: 1) Gameplay - it does not get stale too fast (thanks in part to relatively short runs), which is a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I know your game doesn’t offer a huge amount of content, but the least you can do is giving variety in each leader’s ending. It’s kinda weird that three of the leaders end up with the same ending.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting game with its own mechanics, quite interesting )))
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wish i never played the demo then maybe I would like the full release alot more the issue is the demo creates this power gaming fantasy essentially and then the full release game completely swung in the opposite direction and the enemies kill one of your units every single turn and you feel like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm not a fan of turn-based games, but I think I'll stick with this one because of its interesting premise and graphics. Let's see what surprises this game has in store
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →“Lords of Ravage” is a turn-based tactical RPG with a striking twist: instead of rising as a noble hero, you descend into the role of a dark overlord. Developed by Synthetic Domain and published by 101XP, the game invites you to embrace the villain’s mantle with full force, commanding monstrous armies, enforcing your will across a fractured kingdom, and pursuing an ancient artifact capable of reshaping the world. The fantasy setting is grim, brooding, and steeped in the kind of menace…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a rogue like strategy the fails to be a rogue like strategy. You unlock memory stones that are suppose to unlock new units and items. That said there is no consistency between starts. The original start involving the tutorial had lot of useful units unlock. 2nd run, I unlock some additional units. I ended being only able to recruit archers. Enemy swords men just impaled them. Failed run. 3rd run, NO units unlocked. I just quit. What is the point of pointlessly dying. I recommend people…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well, it HAD potential. I did enjoy the demo. But the rate at which all enemies raise there stats the longer you are on the map is preposterous. On Medium its an impossible game. Maybe I or we the players have to play n lose over n over again to get benefits making play easier. On Easy theres no difference to Medium, lol. None!!!! Enemies are vastly more powerful than your 'army' once the enemies stas raise as you go through the nodes looking for the mission/mission exit. Tons of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Feels like an Early Access title. There's seemingly unfinished content, like the cinematics (the first one has voiceover, none of the others do). There quite a few typos and grammatical errors. The translation is generally rough besides that (like, why do people get less mad at me when I massacre villages? Is that a mistranslation or am I really misunderstanding something?) I understood the gist of the story but a lot of it felt lost in (the bad) translation. The UI still could use a ton of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lords ofs Ravage is a dark Rogue like where you play as an evil lord. The battleflow goes as following: your follower fight against the enemy units and if you want, you can remove all your units and have your character fight personally as well which has bosslike stats...but every damage on yourself and your units is permanent (though there are ways to heal) so you have to plan a bit. All your units have a "on death" effect that triggers when they die and you units are expandable since every…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great aesthetic and, as expected from the guys who made Mainframe Defenders, intricate design as well. It goes with a very unusual route where, instead of just amassing modifiers and synergies, you instead have to manage your troops and your leader's HP as resources. It creates a flavorful henchmen-big bad dynamic. Probably the biggest fumble here is thematic - Sageras, the Emperor and a few other NPCs would much better complement Berold as PCs. Here's hoping for DLC.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A tactical turn-based RPG with a pleasant medieval design.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can finally feel like an evil lord and take over the world! I highly recommend it! The Lord of Magic is so cool!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game! The tutorial is well-made and easy to understand. It features a wide variety of mechanics and progression paths, allowing you to find your own unique playstyle. As a fan of this genre and its visual style, I really enjoyed my time with it. I'll definitely be recommending it to my friends. It would be amazing to see new lords added in the future!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wish steam allowed/had a meh option for if people should recommend games because I like the game but it is just a waste because the devs just have said absolutely nothing. I remember picking up this game because it was decently priced and I was hoping that it would be like other indie games; expanding over time or at least saying they would but this game I don't think ever got one, certainly not in the time I have owned it. I would say if it is on discount buy it. The gameplay is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Meh. Don't bother.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After about 10 hours, I beat the game for the first time on normal. This is a rogue-lite. You will get your arse kicked more in the beginning, and then as game goodies are unlocked and you understand the game mechanics, you will have a higher chance of winning. Some have argued that the accumulation of menace, which makes the enemies stronger is a deal breaker. But I can see how this may provide game balance. There are five difficulties: very easy, easy, normal, hard and very hard. Beat…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its got an infinite loop on the third hero. A player activated damage dealing ability should never get to 0 cooldown!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →2 Months no word from the devs. DONT BUY THIS CASHGRAB
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very well made and interesting asymmetric strategy game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A short but reasonably enjoyable game, and quite affordable too. The production is very professional, something lacking in a lot of other titles released lately - the art looks good, the animations are smooth, and the abilities have powerful synergies of which you can take advantage. There are three campaigns, each having different units, abilities, and story lines. It's nice if you want to sink a few hours into a game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fairly good strategy game, Has interesting new mechanics. Few typos + incorrect hints/description

unlabelledView post →Do not buy for full price. If you can get it for under 5 USD, then it's worth it. Overall, the game is fun but it has some holes that make it a discount game in my book. The Good: -Synergy between units feels good. Lots of little combos and set ups with units and edicts make the rogue like element fun. -Some people complain about the menace system but I think it's a pretty neat addition. As you fight, your units level but, but as your plunder the country side, your menace goes up,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic and polished tactical RPG/roguelike where you're the bad guy: the Lord of Ravage! Lots of build crafting to explore with this one! Your "build" consists of: - Units (presented as "human shields", but they can become quite strong with upgrades and synergies) - Edits (basically a deck of spells; you only draw 4 a turn, making this one of the only bits of RNG that exists in battle) - Relics (roguelike staple at this point) - You, Lord of Ravage. At any point in a battle, your…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →quick playing style based on choices with a satisfying dry dark aesthetic and cutscenes. it combines the buildup mechanic as it progresses through a map to engage in battles, a combat system where each unit has around 5 skills, and some global passive and active skills, including unit management/upgrade, but without being overwhelming.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Lords of Ravage" beaten. Not a lot of game here. Units are disposable and all the combat feels mostly arbitrary. Art is pretty and there's some good ideas happening, it just kinda fails to reach the heights it's aspiring to. Don't feel much need to go back and play more of it beyond what I did.
unlabelledView post →Amazing game, truly more fun than 90% of all "AAA" crap coming out last years. Please, release DLCs this game needs more!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Did finish the story and beat the game and i can say that it needs balancing, the worst part is the main missions sometimes hiding off and ending your run because you took too much time to get there or the spawn point of the next one when it appears, you get to the main mission and complete it then the next main mission spawns on the other side of the map which you already cleared and you have to backtrack and when you do, you get a big hp and dmg buff to your opponents. whats the point of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting, pleasant, exciting even - but unbelievably short...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A decent roguelite, a bit rough and mechanically overwhelming at times, but stylish and generally enjoyable nonetheless.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got stock in dialogue in tutorial, probably because i killed the fire mage as the 2nd target (was probably intended to be the last), and he was supposed to say something. Poor writing with typos everywhere, stuttering cinematics despite graphics being of the pixel variety. I would have loved if this was good, and in time it may be, but currently its not.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ok, I really like this game. My only problem is that you have to manually skip cutscenes you have seen before, and that you can't back away from building menu by clicking the left side bars. Besides that.. this game is outstanding.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The idea is nice, the art style is beautiful but the story and the OST and the gameplay is not not doing it for me. Give this game a chance to see if you like it or not because there is enough here for the game to shine. Refund for now
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →That one is less so on the dungeon creation aspect but more so on the -you- being the boss (well still making your minions fight but still). There's a game, Lords of Ravage, that's supposed to release later this year which also might fall into a category like that.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Does not have as much depth as I would like, sorta repetitive, you figure out what works pretty fast. No real reason to unlock the unlockables, but its cheap enough that I still think it was worth it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is fun ... but too short. It would be great to add a skirmish mode with random maps so people don't have to play the same short stories again and again
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lords of Ravage got me buying due to the videos I watched about it. Villain protagonist and all that. So I was there, day one at release. Let's take a look: Positives: Unit variety. There are enough units to keep you interested. Not too many, but also not few. Ticked. Upgrades. 'Castle' and unit upgrades are just enough to keep you interested in gathering resources. For the length of a run, they are just enough and you won't even manage to get everything, although enough to be satisfied.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finished all 3 campaigns pretty fast, obviously there are bit more units/relics/edicts to unlock but there is no story variation and the combat has little difference. Its fun for couple runs, it would have been better with longer campaign and not being a roguelike. 7/10, with nice discout 8/10
