60 of 95 · most liked firsthorrible game. it bugs out when travelling back through completed quest areas. it has an extremely basic skills tree/char development and plot. items are also very bland/generic with only 3 lines of modifiers and is no where near as detailed/varied as the diablo series. the graphics/animation and controls are also poor. its easy to get lost during each quest because theres no minimap (or any kind of map). stay away, they're better free games on the internet. I'd rate this a 3/10.. closer to a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm sorry, I really wanted to like this game, especially since there are so few games that actually deal with Persia and its mythologies (Prince of Persia notwithstanding), but I cannot in good faith recommend this game to anyone. There's no actual randomized items, no deep character development, and the story looks interesting but sounds like it was badly translated. All together, the game comes across as bare-bones, it functions like its still in its development stages (hell, it probably is…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you purchase this game expecting Diablo III or Torchlight II set in a Middle-Eastern world, you will be horribly disappointed. I backed the game on kickstarter thinking it would be exactly that - a mid-east Diablo II clone. Initially I was put off by what seemed to be an overly simplistic game, as everything seemed to be rather generic. However, if you play on, the game gains more complexity - equipment gains stat modifiers for example. Legends of Persia is actually a fairly decent ARPG.…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →what a piece of crap PROS + none CONS + no storyline + missing sound + DEV introduced cheats to finish the game rather then just fix the game played it to get achievements and even that got annoying
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Summary Legends of Persia is an action-RPG played from an isometric point-of-view, similar to Diablo or Torchlight . It is one of the most disappointing games I've played in years, with very few redeeming qualities. Unless you obtain it as part of a bundle, it is not worth the price of entry. Story elements Original but underused setting Original story, set in a part of the world that isn't often explored in videogames. However, the story is conveyed entirely via cutscenes and only the first…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this from a $2 bundle and I feel ripped off. This is a terrible game. The combat is so slow the mouse feels super weird and picking anything up is awkward. There isn't even a real options menu. Don't buy this game let alone at full price.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To be honest; They are WAY overcharging for this crap game. Persia is not really anyone's idea of "the coolest setting ever", to begin with, but the gameplay is just brutal. I couldn't get into the story due to its horrid gameplay. Instead of buying this game, get yourself either the FREE Path of Exile, which is awesome. Or if you're looking for more of a story, I strongly recommend Van Helsing. I haven't beaten 2 yet to give you a good enough critique, but the first was(in my honest opinion)…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Legends of Persia isn't a bad game but you have to like the genre. If you like to explore a world and love to see your character grow, you will like this game. If you're looking for an RPG, it worths to play Edit: after two days playing the game, I should add something more. The game has problem just in first 20 mins, I donno why they didn't care about it. After next lvl, I enjoyed skills, criticals, equipping items and ... If you can play more than 20 mins, you will enjoy it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is very very bad. It's a very poorly made diablo clone, everything is glitchy and laggy, nothing's really thought out or balanced, the game art is terrible (though i swear they worked harder on the cut scenes than the rest of the game combined).
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awful, absolutely awful. Very, very simplistic Diablo clone. Combat is a chore, having to hold down right click on each individual enemy to kill them one by one, with only skills that deal AoE damage able to kill more than one at a time. Graphics are very basic, and are hardly worth mentioning, and that hideous green effect that persists throughout a long portion of the beginning gets very annoying very quickly. Questing goes by horrifically slow, with even obtaining quests being a pain in the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While the game does start out a bit rough, the constant updates, the interesting story and the fact, that it's a nice Action-RPG, should make every Action-RPG lover take it for a spin. There's no denying, that the game has a couple of flaws (typos mostly, which I'm trying to send to the devs), but in my opinion the game is satisfying for an indie project.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I tried. God sees I tried to give this game a chance. And it failed beyond any expectations. I can't even call it a game! Missing textures. Missing music. Missing sounds. Missing text. Horrible controls. Difficulty that laughable at one point and menacingly cruel in a couple of screens. Constant crushes. Think about any bad video game thing and I can bet Legends of Persia has it! This not a game. Alpha version as I can call it. Avoid it at any cost. You've been warned.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It plays like an Early Access game, but it's not. Weird... I gave it a chance, and it's a bad game. It had some potential, but it is so unbalanced. You're better off playing Torchlight I & II, or even one of the Adventures of Van Helsing games.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is such a mess that the developer gave up on fixing it and instead just patched in God Mode and Level Skip cheats so people could technically reach the end of the game. That's an almost impressive level of terribleness.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recommendation - Only for the most rabid of ARPG fan with NOTHING else to play. Whether you trust game critics or metacritic user scores or not, it says something about a game when not only are almost all the reviews for it negative, but only 2 of the positive ones have an hour hour play time. Seriously, go check out the reviews here in the community hub. Only TWO of them played the game for more than an hour. Odd, since you would think people that enjoyed the game would actually play it,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Legend of Persia Delusions of grandeur Legend of Persia is an isometric ARPG that appears to have somehow made it out of the gate by a development team who don't seem to understand the first thing about what makes a game successful within this genre. It is remarkably crude when it comes to gameplay with a level design that borders on incompetent. It's visually unappealing with zero character development or narrative to draw the player in and make them care about what they are doing in this…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To say that this game is unrefined is like to say that rule of Adolf Hitler raised certain controversy. You are not wrong but description does seem a little lacking. You might be wondering how a game gets 7% positive reviews Where to even begin? I very much try & play any game that plays similar to an ARPG & the list includes: Diablo 1, 2 & 3 Titan Quest: Immortal Throne Dungeon Siege 1, 2 & 3. Grim Dawn R.A.W. Realms of Ancient War Wave Of Darkness Torchlight 1 & 2 Sacred 3 Incredible Adventures Of Van Helsin & similar games of Neverwinter Nights 2, Divinity Original Sin & a few others that are turn based & more cRPG then ARPG. negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game need a lot of work, so anyone can enjoy it. It look like an early acces production. The quest are idiotic. The difficulty level is not balanced at all, and fighting the last boss is extremly hard. The loot you find is almost the same. No many traders, and they have almost the same things that you find. The pet is very weak, and die in few second, so there is no need to spend XP on it. If you like hack/n/slash games, keep away from this game, and grab another one. There are so many…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A complete junk with poor action, poor balance and poor image quality, 1/10.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Every aspect of this game screams amateur and unfinished. -------------- The controls are wonky, not always responding to what you want them to do. The map layouts and level designs are boring and repetitive. Your interactions with the world and its characters are clunky at the best of times and unresponsive the rest of the time. Some of the cut scene artwork isn't terrible, but it's not consistent thematically and clashes with itself, even changing styles from one scene to the next. The…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The ugliness of the game fails to be funny or entertaining, it's just awful and expensive. At least achievements are easy and bug free.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you hate yourself, this game is for you. A tedious journey through terrible graphics, a boring and completely forgettable story and controls that are awful. It feels like this game was made as some intro to game design project that they thought they could sell for $20. Even if I got this game for free, I'd want my time back. Unfortunately I paid actual money for this atrocity. As I write this, the gameplay video is streaming above. Watching it, It's like they sped up the gameplay to make the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I thought it was a bad sign when the word 'Default' was spelled incorrectly. Then I tried to choose a lady character only to find the only available option had mistaken dental floss for armor. Then I walked outside a gate and couldn't progress and couldn't return the way I came and promptly gave up. Do not torture yourself by buying this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Discounting all the mechanics issues detailed in other reviews such as the clunkiness of the controls, the game is just plain unstable. During the time I played it (All the time on record here, guaranteed, won't be launching it again), I experienced 3 soft-locks, a bunch of AI glitchiness, and to top it all off, the game locked and hard faulted right back to the desktop. Can't recommend, it's not very fun to begin with, and coupled with all the glitched, it's unplayable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awful, but still better than Diablo IV.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Legends of Persia" is an older game from 2014. It's a venerable 10 years old at the time of this review. It's also incredibly, laughably bad in quality. But not like your usual amateur/indie game is bad just because the developer was, well, amateur and thus not a professional game developer. This looks like it was built by professional developers who didn't have any budget, competent management, enough time to make the game, and care factor. It's really bad. Sometimes with a defective…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's really no polite way to put it. This game is horrible. Which is a pity because it almost wasn't. It would be possible to overlook the Dungeon Siege 1 era graphics, the generic, repetitive music and even the shoddy user interface if the game-play was good. But the game-play is not good. It's buggy and derivative. Straight off the bat the first achievement I got was for killing the second boss. The first boss never appeared. It doesn't seem to be possible to transition back to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This may not be a bad game, but I could find no desire to keep playing it after 20 minutes. From the beginning the load times are atrocious. There were 3 times before I ever reached actual gameplay where I thought the game had crashed because I was just staring at a blank screen for over 2 minutes. The cutscenes at the beginning were beautifully drawn but shoddily stitched together and at one point there was a 3 second clip of in-engine gameplay that was completely inexplicable. Sometimes…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got stuck behind a wall 5 secs into the game and the cutscenes I saw before that were dangeriously boring. They ask 20 euros while the price should something closer to 2.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game doesn't even have a minimap lmao
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrible game, dont even worth a try.I doubt the maker didnt even spend a month on it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gameplay is clunky as hell. Nothing works how it should (for some reason I could never have more than 1 spell equipped even though there were four empty slots). This game was terrible, glad I got it real cheap in a Humble Bundle at least.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WHAT? $13 for this game? You guys are serious? I thought it would be like 5-6 dollar game. I got the game in some bundle and decided to give it a try. Well, as many folks stated before me - this is NOT a good game. Yeah, the setting is somewhat unique. But... Controls are horrible, game speed is horrible. The game itself feels like running Diablo III on ol' Pentium II computer. Want something good? Play any of Torchlight games. Cheers.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Where to begin. Oh boy. When i bought this game i thought to myself, hmmm this looks like a fun game. The screenshots look nice, it has RPG, Action, Indie, Adventure tags. What could go wrong? Everything. I am not a person who goes for graphic looks, they are the last thing i look in a game, but this game . . . this game. So much bugs. So much crashing and crashing and crashing and . . . did i mention crashing. The minor things like enemy names with underscores, enemy names ending with numbers…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a copy of what i wrote about this game in the forums (i left out the horrible graphics as i thought that problem was way too obvious. also:if someone says that it's like diablo 2-> they blatantly lie. even diablo 1 had better standards UI/gameplay-wise than this): My first experiences in this game When I first started the game (after the settings, which kinda confused me with the "switch attack/run buttons" and the fact that it changes the resolution if you uncheck the fullscreen…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I want to like this game, I really do. Unfortunately, the setting is not one that is very exiting for me, and one I don't particularly care for. That *may* taint my review of the game, so I am warning you beforehand. In terms of graphics, I would say they are "alright," but nothing that really screams out "Man, this game looks great!" Item placement on the maps (thus far) doesn't make much sense, and so far the environment is dull and lackluster. The UI is ugly, in my opinion, but…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is realy bad. I do recomend... stay clear of it. Unless you really are desperate for another Diablo clone. The game does not look too good and the "feel" from it is even worse. I am not much into writing a review, so just some points which I realy hate about it: - Ingame movies and even most dialogs are more like static images, taking over whole screen, some of them even does not have voice actings.. hm. not good. - In game graphic and character and even enemy animation is prety…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just an overall bad game. It seemed alright, though basic at first, yet extremely slow and buggy ("animations"/"cutscenes" would constantly freeze and take anywhere from 15 to 60 seconds to transition! And it's not my computer that's for sure). Then at some point, mid-fight, it just quit, no error message, nothing. Screw this game, not worth it, especially after almost 4 years out, and REALLY not worth the 22$ CAD that the dev is asking for.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This could be the most unresponsive action rpg I've ever played.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The main difficulty of this game comes from all the crashes and bugs. I restarted the same level like 4 times, despite finishing it twice, because somehow my progression got lost, or because the game crashed during play. There are also a lot of pretty long black or white screens for some reason (maybe that's cutscenes that don't show on Windows N? Still that's annoying). Without that, it would be an okay game, if it was sold a few bucks and not $20-ish.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice Game 8/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bland, soulless, amateurish ARPG. Bad English in the cutscenes. Everything looks exactly like what it is: an art asset positioned on a map- nothing blends or meshes together to create a believable level. Lack of variety in loot. (I got 2 of the same helmet, three of the same sword and three of the same bow before I got to the first boss). Awkwardness with clicking to pick up some drops rather than just walking through them. Incredibly linear levels from what I saw, where you are directed…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Original setting that sadly remains unexploited, pretty cool intro but the game itself is absolutely terrible. It's not polished, lacks any redeemable features and doesn't bring anything to the genre. There is no reason for anyone to be playing that game except some unchecked masochistic tendencies. Avoid.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bland, bad, boring. Controls are sluggish, 3D models are choppy, textures were made without imagination. I heard the story might be good if you give game a chance, but I won't risk it ;) I heard item costumisation further into the game is quite good, but I won't try to check it. The only good thing I see, are the cinematics (2D) - not that great in any manner, but many levels above the rest of the game. I heard the game came from KickStarter. Pity. The truth is, that You may even like it. I can…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →3/5 Average game ! OVERALL First of all, don't be fooled by the cool cinematics, this game is abysmally different, it's like the devs hired an animation studio to do the cinematics and showed them none of the gameplay. This game is an average hack and slash, a Diablo 2 clone that's anything but memorable although it still manages to be fun if you don't set your standard to Diablo 3 kind of quality. You will beat it in about 5-6h and I don't think it's worth $20 (more like $5-8 IMHO) but if…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good story line, i enjoy it. hope they continue developing this game and also add some new magic and hero in order to experience more characters and more skills
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrible game. It's full of spelling mistakes, god-awful controls, huge lack of skills, the game crashes like crazy, and often. I'd suggest staying away, even if it's only a couple dollars, I'd still say, save your money.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not worth the full price but if found with a bundle like was in humble bundle worth every penny.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Clunky gameplay and the game sometimes crashes after the cutscenes. Took me 3.5 hours to beat it twice (normal + hard hardcore), not worth 20€, wait for a sale.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Waste of time. Amateurish level of game design. Really not worth investing your precious time into this. Not to mention the price is a joke. I wouldnt play it even as a free game. Avoid
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A hack and slash with a slow pace, confusing story, glitches, terrible inventory managment and minimal character customization that I came across in an hour of play. Hotbar didn't even seem to work correctly. I'm done, time to move on.
