Kirio Fan Club

What would you do if your crush had ear-splitting farts? For Aimi and Nami, the answer is to cry tears of joy for being able to pinpoint at a distance the object of their affections, Kirio, from a single toot. These are the kinds of deep, philosophical questions the two friends/rivals in romance pose to each other to prove their love for this boy who hardly seems to know they exist. That won't stop them from… From TMDB

unlabelledView post →I was traveling this past week for the holidays and new year. However, there are two series I have been following that ended that I wanted to mention. Also, a new series I found that hits me square in the chuuni-shaped hole in my heart. - [Kirio Fan Club](https://mangadex.org/title/4d0e2994-067b-4fb4-b359-290b5b56718d/kirio-fanclub) I love how much this series leans into making every character extremely weird but still charming, and the ending was no different. The climactic moment was both…

unlabelledView post →Also published today, some manga I had review copies of: Kirio Fan Club 1 by Chikyu no Osakana Ponchan is a fun story of friendship where two girls bond over their crush on a classmate. www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
unlabelledView post →The funniest anime I've ever watched. And sweet. High schoolers, Aimi and Nami, share a crush on the same boy, Kirio. (Or do they?) Hilarity ensues as they do whatever necessary to obtain the object of their passion - e.g. black magic, song-writing. Grade: A. #anime #kiriofanclub #review
unlabelledView post →Those are all very good selections! I'd also include WHA's OP, Kirio Fan Club OP, and Agents of Four Seasons OP and ED (look, it's a dogshit show, but the music absolutely slaps. Including the soundtrack which is by Kensuke Ushio)
unlabelledView post →I guess Tomoki Kikuya did music for a new show called Kirio Fan Club I might have to give it a shot based on just that
unlabelledView post →@apc #AniMangaFoundIt for this week I'd like to recommend Kirio Fan Club. It's an incredibly smart and touching show that presents itself as a wacky romcom only to flip the script and subvert the genre's tropes. A series of funny vignettes take a completely different meaning as the show reveals the inner lives and unspoken history of the characters. It ultimately challenges the viewers' perception and expectations of a teenager life when compared to how it feels from the inside. #KirioFanClub

unlabelledView post →Kirio Fan Club (2026) The 1st episode had some potentially interesting ideas, but the show was never funny and all the focus was frequently shifted to characters we don't give a shit about. I think to do a concept like this the guy needs to be like completely background.
unlabelledView post →Finished Kirio Fan Club. I'll be honest. The humor never worked for me throughout the series, but the serious stuff...sorta did? A weird, uneven show. It was aight/10
unlabelledView post →RE: https://mstdn.social/@animefeminist/116349838556187369 Kirio Fan Club had an interesting premise but is turning out to be a show which explores much deeper themes. It starts by only showing the outside appearance of these teens, but then slowly starts scratching below the surface. As it […]
