Eren the Southpaw
As high school reaches its midpoint, Koichi Asakura—who dreams of studying design at art school—has his plans shaken by explosive graffiti on a museum wall. The artist is Eren Yamagishi, a left-handed girl who buried her talent after a past incident. Drawn together by art, Koichi pursues design as Eren returns to painting, but fear, ambition, and old scars threaten their paths. From TMDB

I hope this one will be better. * **That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4** - Yay! More meetings! (please, don't) * **Classroom of the Elite IV** - I don't remember much about it. I'm gonna need a recap * **Ascendance of a Bookworm Season 4** - Aside from season 1, this was rather underwhelming, but hopefully the change of the studio will bring some improvements. unlabelledView post →Eren the Southpaw: 5/10 This show might have been watchable if it were better edited and paced, but as it is I'm just glad it's over. Suffers from the same time jumping issues as Awajima, but even more. Also the titular Eren is easily the most interesting character, but is barely in half the show.

Where's the potential yuri the OP & ED promised me? =p

unlabelledView post →Eren the Southpaw is trying its damned hardest to depict the angst of art-as-competition, but this flashback premiere stumbles out of putting its best foot forward. It feels rather workmanlike—ironically the same trait its trio bitterly rebuffs. There's something there...if the show can seize it. ⏸️

unlabelledView post →Eren the Southpaw I like Eren as a character so much. It's a shame that, despite appearing in the title, 90% of the show is spent on other, inferior characters.

unlabelledView post →Next, Eren the Southpaw (左ききのエレン) is an awkwardly-named series about art (not American sports). A hot-blooded gifted artist clashes with a more cynical guy who wants to be a designer because he lacks the ambition to aim higher - but deeply admires his schoolmate's wild art style. The first episode…
unlabelledView post →The first show dropped for the season is Eren the Southpaw after episode 2. None of the characters are likeable or compelling and the story hasn't given a reason to look beyond that. Kinda directionless and unnecessarily brooding. #anime
