Although, after World 10, it stopped being fun for me, maybe it was just because I'm too much of a casual player (World 13 turned the game fun again, I like that one). While the later levels of the game are too hard for me, I think people who are smarter than me would really enjoy it, once you've gone a few steps in the right direction, things just start to smoothly fall into place.

unlabelledView post →A comfort game that secretly lifts weights inbento is a wonderfully clever little spatial puzzle game wrapped in the softest, warmest cat-family slice-of-life storytelling. The premise is simple: recreate a pattern using a limited set of moves… and then watch as that simplicity is absolutely demolished by increasingly tricky layouts. The early worlds are cozy, chill, and perfect for warming up your brain, but later ones demand real “stare-at-the-screen-and-whisper-why” energy. It’s adorable,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This puzzle game is about recreating bento box layouts by arranging food pieces according to specific rules. As you progress, new mechanics are introduced, turning what seems like a simple concept into a cleverly designed experience. In my opinion, the difficulty ramps up at a great pace. The first puzzles gently teach you the mechanics, but later levels really give your brain a deeper workout. There were several moments where I stared at the board for so long it started to feel like it was…

I did have to use hints for some puzzles but tbh I chalk that up to me always playing when I was sleepy #mediathread2025

A perfect game to unwind with. The difficulty ramps up at a great pace, constantly introducing new mechanics without ever feeling unfair. Some of the later puzzles really made me stop and think, and finally solving them genuinely felt rewarding. If you're looking for a relaxing puzzle game that still manages to challenge you (and features an…

unlabelledView post →One of the indie games that’s currently on a big discount, Inbento . This game tells its story without using any text or narration. Instead, we’re given a series of pictures showing the everyday life of a mother cat who always prepares bento lunches for her child, from when the kitten is really young until they eventually grow up. Story-wise, it’s actually quite sad. Even though everything is told through pictures, the game still manages to deliver the story and emotions of the characters…

unlabelledView post →Casual puzzle game, where you need to stack pieces of food into bento boxes according to prescribed schematics; of course it’s not that easy, because each food piece has its own mechanic, like moving, swapping or replacing already placed pieces. There is over 120 levels (plus couple bonus ones) with growing difficulty to solve, revealing the life story of one cat single mother and her offspring, all done in simple but cute graphics and relaxing music. Recommended.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is such a CUTTTEEEEE game! I honestly don't have much complaints. It's cheap (I bought it at 82% discount), and the artstyle is adorable. The puzzles are pretty difficult and you need an actual brain, so if you're like me who has a pea sized brain, use guides to finish the ones you can't figure out! Overall, I recommend it, it's pretty chill and I love the pictures of the kitties (*ゝωб )b

unlabelledView post →the game has really cute visuals and the difficulty gradually increases as you progress. at first i thought it would be a simple and short game with just some basic moves to solve each puzzle but it actually turned out to be quite tricky in some levels and this was something i liked a lot! highly recommended if you enjoy games that require logic and a good amount of patience :)

unlabelledView post →I've never eaten so much sushi in my entire life. This is a very cute game where a kitten's mother packs a bento box for him. You have to do it in a specific order, and it's very simple at first, but after a dozen levels, you'll have to think about each move. Rice, tomatoes, salmon - flip them, swap them, anything to keep the child happy. There are over 120 levels in total, which will keep you busy for a couple of hours and leave a positive impression. Beautiful visuals, calm music, and a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I saw my girlfriend buying this game, and Im glad I did because its a fun, small puzzle game! It doesnt take too long to finish and the puzzles, while sometimes hard, are never that hard to the point of being annoying. The story, while simple, is a cute story that you get to experience after finishing a group of puzzles. The artstyle is cute and fits the gameplay! Especially for the price at 82% off, I can really recommend it!

unlabelledView post →Inbento is a really cute little game about putting together bento boxes and solving some tiny puzzles. The puzzles are easy as pie, all very simple and relaxed, although every now and then one or two will make you think for a little bit. Nothing too serious, though; it’s a very gentle experience. Even so, it manages to keep you entertained for a while, and it’s the kind of game that’s great when you have a few minutes to spare and want to pass the time without having to fry your brain. Cute,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm not sure yet if I recommend this game but for now I'd say no. The game sells the idea of chill and casual gameplay and the first worlds are pretty fun to play. I was looking for a game to play in bed before going to sleep but once you get around world 9 the difficulty spikes and what was supposed to be chill becomes annoying and you have to try and remember all possible combinations until it works out. Level 9-6 was the turning point for me to "I'm not having fun anymore". At least the game…

It presents itself as a relaxing snack of a game, but don't let the cute cat aesthetic fool you; it has a surprising amount of depth. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3753821512 The Good The core mechanic is beautifully simple: take ingredients and arrange them in the box to match the target layout. The game introduces new rules at a steady,…

unlabelledView post →How nostalgic can a game about making bento boxes feel to the player? This is certainly what inbento aims to answer. This puzzle game based on the classic Japanese way to bring food on the go uses its ingredients as blocks to be placed in a certain order for the result to be desired. It may sound simple enough yet as you get through each stage new mechanics like overlapping, sliding and swapping make the task all the more challenging. In fact it may catch you by surprise even if you crave…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a very cute and affordable puzzle game with an adorable storyline. I finished it rather quickly but in my opinion it is replayable if you decide to get back to it later on. The puzzles arent repetitive and the difficulty differs from level to level. There are also new mechanics introduced while proceeding through the world which make it more interesting to play. I definetly reccomend it as a game to blow off some steam after school or after a hard day :3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cute cozy bento box game I highly suggest playing it. I love bento who doesn't??? PLUS THERE IS CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →inbento is a really cute and relaxing little puzzle game. The main idea is simple: you have to arrange the ingredients in the correct order to recreate different bento boxes, but the puzzles gradually introduce new mechanics that make them surprisingly challenging. The early levels are easy to understand, while the later puzzles require more planning and careful thinking. I like the art style, although I don’t really understand the story. The music also isn’t as chill and relaxing as I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Although the overall presentation is cute, the later levels will pose a good challenge even to an avid puzzler. The puzzles are difficult but at the same time feel intuitive. However, in some levels, be prepared to do deep logical deductions.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Truly the cozy game. I love the visual and color pallettes.

There were no bugs or crashes throughout my time with the game. All achievements unlocked at their appropriate times. This will be a short review. There is nothing wrong with them, but nothing amazing about them either. The same with the audio. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game on sale for under $1, so I think it's definitely worth trying out if you enjoy cozy puzzle games. The early levels are pretty smooth sailing, but some of the later ones are very challenging. I admit, I had to resort to some guides to help me out; you really got to think outside the box in order to solve some of them!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cute and cozy puzzle game with satisfying sounds. While the early levels are fairly simple, the puzzles become more challenging later on. At first, they seem random, but if you think a bit more, you'll start to notice patterns.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A charming puzzle game with a heartwarming art/story. The early levels feel a bit too simple and might make you bored at first. However, once you reach around level 9, the puzzles become more challenging and satisfying to solve.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is a cute puzzle game with a tiny bit of story told through pictures you unlock as you complete levels and 'worlds' those levels are in. the story is as said - tiny so don't expect it to evoke lots of emotions in you. the levels are a mix of challenging and simple to complete and understand, some of the special blocks are a little confusing when first used but are quick to grasp and use. the game is enjoyable to play during breaks for a few minutes or all in one sitting despite the mix of…

unlabelledView post →I feel like my heuristic for solving these puzzles has not developed after the initial first few levels. They all felt like trying out various combinations that "feels" right with no quantifiable way of explaining or determining what actually "feels" right. basically, it felt like guessing and checking. maybe my brain just doesn't understand the game yet, even though i've finished all the levels.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was looking for a quick, cozy game and saw this on sale. The game has a chill music, cute story, and artwork but it really feels like a mobile game, not really worth playing on a PC. Controls are simple, and straightforward. Very relaxing game at first but becomes frustrating, and difficult as you go along. There's a lot of trial and error on higher levels. I only kept playing this because I love bento, the cute artwork, and the story. If you're a puzzle enthusiast, have a lot of patience,…
