unlabelledView post →Very decent game to buy on sale but as you probably read already, the controls in this game rick of "mobile port" and are very annoying sometimes for what is an under 3 hour game. Giving this a negative to encourage Ustwo to make the bare minimum to put some effort into the making of the controls and not publish mobile ports, since they wanted to shift away from Apple and Netflix. Lego builder's journey had the same issue.

unlabelledView post →it's like the game is trying to ragebait me by making the controls as awkward as possible
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I only recommend this game if you buy it on sale; it's far too short for me to advise purchasing it at full price. There are 13 levels and an epilogue, and the levels are very short. I do think the repair gimmick was oversold; it's definitely more of a short story with a small minigame in between blurbs of story.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It hurts me to say this since this feels like a labor of love by someone, but do yourself the favor and skip this game, no matter how cheap it is it just isn't worth it. I can sum up this very short game with a very basic good, bad and ugly. To start, the good: the art direction is crazy charming and the music is a vibe. Even as someone who doesn't typically gravitate to this "cozy" art style, I did greatly enjoy the art, and it's the same for the music, not something I'd throw onto my…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A game about fixing things. Fixing things is quite fun but there are only 13 things to fix with mechanics reused often. Certain actions are satisfying like unscrewing but the UI needs work. Picking up and placing down items is unintuitve and it is hard to select the right area to rotate the object sometimes. The items themselves are quite pretty and many have moving parts which adds to the sophistication. It was also fun having to test partially reassembled machines multiple times to see if all…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →On the fence about this one, I'm giving it a thumbs up mostly because of the price Game is really cute and the objects you have to fix are interesting, but it is REALLY short, the story is clichê and the controls are awfully irritating
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute game but not for me. Some might enjoy the story but I came for the restoration and ended up very disappointed. I feel like the restoration mechanic is oversold. It's very simplistic with only a few parts and tasks for only 13 items. The controls actively fight you as it's awkward to rotate items. You feel like you need to hold but you only have to click then click again to let go while the rotation is too sensitive. Grabbing the rotation point is also awkward as if you are slightly off…

unlabelledView post →This is a super relaxing, cute, and cozy puzzle game with a lot of heart. The puzzles are interesting -- you take apart the townsfolks' beloved treasures to fix them and then piece them back together again. The hand-illustrated watercolor art is beautiful, the music is soothing and I really enjoyed the story and voice acting. The stories can be a bit sad but overall the game felt heartwarming and hopeful. It took me just under 2 hours to complete, so it's a short game, but I loved this one and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Infuriating controls spoiled my enjoyment completely There are a lot of good things I can say about this game, but unfortunately I can't in good conscience recommend it. Let's acknowledge the good: - consistently wholesome tone - lovely art style - voice acting! For an indie game, I consider it going an extra mile, and it's genuinely good - nuanced characters and stories. Overall, it's a very well thought out, cohesive game that feels like a labour of love. However. The controls are so…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In a little over and hour, I finished the entire game. There is about.. 13 levels in total? There is a ton of dialogue which I didn't care too much for, just seemed like a whole lot of sappy family issues. It was a cute game, cute artstyle, good voice acting. The main reason I don't recommend it is that it is extremely short, and the controls are very clunky and mildly infuriating at times.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I now wonder if the creator of Mixtape has played Assemble with Care, the cassette scene was almost exactly the same game mechanic we had in here. Cassette nostalgia.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a simple chill and cozy game with restoration and a meaningful story... game is small enough to refund even after playing, but honestly its worth not refunding and maybe supporting the devs... cos why not... i loved this small chill game. its cheap, its cozy, and just a nice little experience to play when you dont want anything too serious. get it and enjoy <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love how this game shows that even small objects can hold special memories. By fixing broken items, I slowly discover the stories and emotions behind each one. I really enjoy taking apart old cameras, tape players, and other everyday items, then putting them back together. There is something oddly fun about opening up old things and finding what is hidden inside, even though I probably wouldn’t trust myself to repair anything in real life. Each repair feels meaningful because these objects…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Heartwarming game about families, people being human and forgiveness told through the lens of repairing items that have special meaning and bringing back memories. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend. Played entirely on Steamdeck.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the cozy atmosphere but the controls were so wonky for me I couldn't even enjoy playing it. :/ The puzzles are ok, I wish there were challenging ones but eh. Story is heartwarming though cliche.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →completed it in under an hour, 8 USD feels a little steep, 5 feels more appropriate tbh. Fun little game, the volume settings will lie to you though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I ended up completing this game and was not very impressed. I enjoy games that allow me to take things apart and repair them as such since I find stuff like that enjoyable outside of gaming. However, Assemble with Care had three major things that turned me off by the end of this short game (barely an hour to 100% this). 1. This is the only game I have came across so far on Steam where you have to input a launch option force in order for the resolution to act right in full screen, which was…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yes great game but like most of the reviews have mentioned its very short. For someone more used to puzzle games they would definitely be able to complete it a lot quicker than me. 13 levels in total quick easy to understand puzzles, more time is spent on the story I feel. Beautiful artwork for the game and a well thought-out story line but again very short and feel more like a demo to a game then a fully released one.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short, fun. More a visual novel with occasional repairing games. But's i's fun for what it is. I wish you didn't automatically drop the screwdriver every time you screw/unscrew one because usually there's multiples. Minor nit though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: Beautiful plot where you get to know a bunch of people in Bellariva in the 80’s Soundtrack amazing, and it's fully voice acted. The restoration isn’t too difficult and you get to learn more with each round without a tutorial. Cons: A little bit too short, could easily add more things to restore. Would like to get to know a few more characters than the four that we meet. The restoration was a bit too easy at times, would like something more complex. Finished? Yes Steam Achievements? Easy…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to like it, but the rotation direction is backwards from every 3D model I've ever interacted with and I had such a hard time controlling the part I was working on. I got so frustrated I almost didn't finish the game, and it's a really short game. The story is fine. The art is pretty. It's essentially a storybook with easy puzzles sprinkled throughout. I wished it was more about fixing complex things and didn't have so much story in between each puzzle. Maybe it's for a younger…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just finished Assemble with Care, a gem of an indie game. In the same vein of Florence or Unpacking, it makes a compelling argument about the trifecta of Object - Relationship - Memory. Things have soul, and emotional weight. Tinkering with them means rewriting history. #IndieGames #GameAnalysis

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Assemble with Care is great. store.steampowered.com/app/1202900/...
unlabelledView post →This is basically a demo, and the repairing was decent, but the story wasn't super compelling and since it doesn't really go far it's hard to recommend it. It's really well polished and presented, but just not quite interesting or challenging enough to take it anywhere during the twelve levels. At like 1 or 2 dollars I'd say it might be worthwhile to some people as just a chill little experience, but as it is I would say this isn't for most.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is very short but sweet. It has beautiful artstyle as well as a touching story. Loved it.

unlabelledView post →this... is a mobile game. It's very short and a lot easier to control on your phone rather than on pc. It's NOT a bad game but it's also HNOT a good one. I played through it when my internet was out and truly i could have done something a lot better.

Perfect if you want something to unwind for a short time (it's a 2h playthrough). I wouldn't mind a sequel or 2 because I wanted to do more of their puzzles 👀 #indiegame #gaymer

Please do not buy this game, I wish I can refund it but I bought it awhile ago and really hoped that they would work on the problems. Sadly, I don't think it will happen.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →pretty short, completable within an hourish; but the art is so pretty in the game. i loved the story too and the gameplay was good only annoying thing was the rotating of all the parts
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tonight I'm checking out this cozy puzzle game that's been in my Steam backlog for a while now. Assemble with Care sounds nice and chill. twitch.tv/LunarJade
unlabelledView post →Graphics? Beautiful Music? Chill Story? Alright, nothing great, nothing bad. Puzzles? Simple. For some, probably too simple. Controls? Annoying. Could be better. Length? I think it's just right. If the puzzles were more complicated, I wouldn't mind seeing more of them. Price? Bit too high for what you are getting. On sale, absolutely fair.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This feels more like a demo. The game is waaay too short. The fixing is satisfying though. It's kind of like a visual novel, but you get a minigame of fixing broken/old items from your and your sisters childhood. Definetely not worth the full price, but if it's on sale, you'll have an hour of decent fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sorry I can't recommend it. It is more a slideshow than a game. The "repair" activities are anoying because of how things need to be done and sometimes becomes more of quesing game than logic. The story is nice but for the price they ask for it. Also really wonder what all those people actually where doing, the credit list is way too long for this short slideshow.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A calm and relaxing experience. The story is wholesome, the soundtrack is cozy n chill, the art is beautiful and the pace is great for taking a break from the action film that life is these days. The puzzles themselves are nice, not too complicated, nor too finnicky and the controls play well if you do what the game's called ... assemble with care - don't rush, slow n steady. I've seen the other side of the coin too - where my boyfriend would sand off his mousepad when using the screwdriver or…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Indie games need to stop making me cry. That being said, this is a very cute short and simple story game where you fix items and have a hand in repairing relationships as well. Three different storylines are beautifully intertwined and had me feeling sentimental about items and grateful for my very own relationships. The mechanics, in my opinion, are pretty smooth. You won't get stuck since the game does help you out. The voice acting?! Phenomenal. If more audiobooks had the same voice…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this game on sale for $2, and I had a great time. The story wasn't that interesting to me, but that's just preference. The core mechanics of the game are so fun, especially if you like this sort of thing. However the entire game only has 14 levels. I finished and 100%ed it in 70 minutes. When it's usually $8 dollars, there needs to be more content. The replay-ability isn't really there either. Even if you are replaying for the satisfying levels, you have to click through every story slide…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Assemble with Care is best described as a series of pleasantly relaxing interactive short stories rather than a game. This is intended for those interested in unwinding to puzzle-adjacent object repairing paired with some wholesome storytelling, and not those seeking advanced mechanics or engaging gameplay. Nonetheless, the aesthetics and vibes are on point. Even launching the game has artistic flair. The endearing music and satisfying sound effects are a highlight. The characters are all fully…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Imagine GNOG, but with way fewer contraptions to interact with and lots and lots of forced, heavy-handed 'plot' supposed to be an emotional roller-coaster where the protagonist fixes people's lives by fixing their objects. It's not a bad game per se, and technically there's very little to fault, but I would be prepared to pay more money for this game if it had way less dialogue and 'story' (honestly, I could survive if it had none) and instead had more objects to repair.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While I cannot deny that this puzzle game has its charm, its simply lacking enough puzzles (in my eyes) to warrant paying for it. The priority of a puzzle game is to have good puzzles first, and then have the story happen alongside it, but unfortunately this game is more like a storybook with puzzles in between. Additionally, I had to disable the dialog, since I got tired of being nagged that something was missing when I tabbed out for a few seconds. Hearing "hmm, I think I'm missing…
