60 of 175 · most liked firstI am writting this review because I see it on sale. This is a negative review. This game is bad. I really did try to like it. It just feels broken. The controls feel broken, the skills are unbalanced. I only played a few hours. I just did not want to try anymore. It just wasnt worth it to me. Grim Dawn, Path of Exile, just so many more out there that are really good. This feels like a lazy port. It fooled me because the video and store page made it look so good. Im giving this review to help my…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game after reading the reviews and thinking, "How bad can they really screw up an ARPG game?" I mean, its just point and click to move around and attack things. Not much more depth to these games than that. Needless to say, I was shown exactly how you can screw it up by playing this game for 30 minutes. 1. Bad controls 2. Bad graphics 3. No video options 4. Horrible voice acting 5. interface looks like its from 1993 6. Animations are pretty bad 7. Combat is horribly slow, like…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I do not understand all the negativity directed towards this game. Iesabel in not a sequel to Diablo LOD, it's just yet another simple hack'n'slash game, and it slightly resembles Diablo. The same resemblance would bear Sacred, Beyond Divinity, Divine Divinity, Titan Quest and loads of games. Why you're hating Iesabel for your own broken expectations? It is small game with good gameplay, with some minor collision issues and couple of cheevos got broken. Otherwise it is pretty solid game for its…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Long Story Short Iesabel is a good game that is lacking in several features. The art is mediocre and the music is the same. The game, surprisingly, has a very good story with lots of plot twists. The achievements are broken and up-grading system is disheartening. And yet, somehow, I still played it 32 hours. Sadly, there are only two classes to pick from and the mage is the only one that is half descent. Which really sucks for those of us who like to play as melee class. I honestly believe…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →|ENG \ RUS| Rules tell me to be polite while writing a review for this game, and I'll try. It's very hard to do. This game is what you call PURE EVIL. When you love action RPGs like Titan Quest or Diablo, you go and make something like Path of Exile or Grim Dawn. But when you see those games getting support and want some too while doing especially nothing, you make Iesabel. This game is not just bad. It's one of the worst I played, and from my profile you can see I play a lot. I also had PS1…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game could be recommended if on sale, as it's fair way to pass the time if you're bored... or you've exhausted all the GOOD top-down ARPG options (series like Diablo, Dungeon Siege, Torchlight etc). It has a few redeeming qualities - there's great music that creates a unique ambience. It also has some nifty, unexpected physics effects that add a bit more visual flair. The GUI (HUD, menus etc.) has some nice moments for a budget/indie game, with a pleasant aesthetic (jagged & illegible…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm generally VERY accomodating to most games. This game compelled someone who does not write reviews for Steam to write one, and unfortunately not for a positive reason. Pros: -Interesting concept Cons: -UI and overall presentation are awful to the point of near unplayability -Bug ridden -Poor introduction -Broken game mechanics Actually I could list 20 or more reasons to avoid this game. Please, don't waste your time on this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I saw this was on sale, so I thought I'd warn everyone to stay away from this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First and main reason why you shouldn't buy this game, the developers might be dead, as they haven't responded since year 2013 if I'm not mistaken. Well then, back to normal review. Pros: If you are tiered of living and you are achievement hunter, get this game, as it is a cancer for achievement hunters. Cons: - no actual multiplayer - same two musical all through game, and they are 30 sec long each - achievements are bugged, and you can't get them(unless you do something bad ;)) - to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Garbage. Got it for 3cents on a bundle game package. I would of rather just thrown the 3 pennies on the ground outside walmart. Honest Review: It is clunky- The movement looks like your guy is skipping. The UI lacks any kind of shadowing to make it pop out of the background. Translation sounds like some dude put a towel over his mouth and started talking. Description of anything is so plain and non existant
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is quite possibly one of the worst examples of an RPG available on Steam. It's a rough port of a low quality mobile game. Hard pass.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →More bugs here than in one carcass. Yep, is very similar to Diablo but only in the genre and in the somewhat rip off of the visuals. I'm patient and can deal with minor bugs, like some creature that becomes invulnerable and something I can't pick up. Unluckily, there are game-breaking bugs. I came to a point where I can't apply the leveling points for abilities and one where I just can't advance due to an unblockable path. I didn't dislike the graphs or the music. Combat is kinda lame. Runs…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have always been very fascinated by RPG's made in the style of Dungeons and Dragons which I got around to play a bit in the good old days. So when I saw a giveaway of this game I decided to give it a try despite all the bad reviews I have read. I am usually one that prefers to try something for myself before judging a game so I gave it a launch. And boy was I disappointed. The opening scene really didn't explain much although the artwork was very nice I give that to the developer. But the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →HORRIBLE "GAME" DON'T EVEN BOTHER PLEASE!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall a bad imitiation of a Diablo like game. The gameplay is alright. Controls are a bit awkward. Takes a little to get used to. Eg, aiming is not very accurate and requires you offset your cursor from the enemies a bit. Many of the graphics are too dark to see correctly and much of the UI needs some fine tuning to look more polished. Story is bland and voice acting even worse. If you really love hack n slashes then this may be worth a couple bucks. Otherwise go for Torchlight if you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Actually not nearly as bad as the reviews would let you think. 6/10 I would say over all. Edit: I played this through, not sure way Steam shows only few hours. Takes about 10-15h to finish if I remember correctly.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Full disclosure: I won this game for free in a giveaway. Top-down action role-playing games (ARPGs) aren't terribly saturated, but those in existence generally have some modicum of quality. From Diablo II onward, the bar was set pretty darn high. Do I expect all games in that genre to be at that level of quality? Absolutely not. However, I must confess that quality top-down ARPGs have spoiled me to the point that their lessers really stand out. When it comes to Iesabel, this game is glaringly…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got a 90% discount on this game when I crafted a badge, so it costed 50 cents for me. I thought: half an Euro dammit, what could go wrong? The answer: everything. "Press S to use your primary attack." - OK, guess it's an uninstall, then. Moral of the story: Don't waste your money on garbage, folks, no matter how cheap it might be.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Since I got this game for free in one of the giveaways, the least I could do would be to write an honest review. I have played the game for 1 hour odd take or give a few minutes. You start the game off with only 1 of 2 available classes, a melee one and a ranged magical one, both of which come with their own problems down the line. After you select your generic charachter you are put into a plush world which for some reason really messes with your head, I'm not sure if its because of the blur…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bland and boring hack'n slash that is as generic as it's possible. The only good aspects are graphics and music, which are decent. Other than that there's no reason to play this game, it's significantly inferior to games such as Sacred, Diablo, or even Grim Dawn.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →UI, voice acting, style, control scheme, everything is bad and not even close to competitors who let play their game for free (i.e. path of exile).
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Grade D! Whatever the discount will be - you'll going just waste your money. Honestly: I tried to find at least something good about this game. A humble creation of a small indie studio. Probably inspired by Diablo. Or just tried to imitate. Anyway, they didn't make it. The controlling was nice. You can perform the most actions by the keyboard. Like running, looting, slashing. Wait a minute! For portal, interaction with NPC and most skills you still have to use a mouse. And all of this are…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, I bought this game because it was on sale and I was curious to see if it was as bad as everyone said. It's not. The graphics are pretty good and the soundtrack is excellent. The alchemy/crafting system, like the skill tree and gameplay in general, is uncomplicated. There are annoyances aplenty with the targeting and pathfinding, but they're hardly dealbreakers. Iesabel is by no means a GREAT game - this isn't in the same league as Grim Dawn or anything like that - but its…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you have ever played the Diablo series, this game plays like it with okay graphics. You will be happy to see a great amount of randomized loot and 3 skill trees just like the Diablo/Torchlight genre. So far I have only played the barbarian but there is a witch you can play as well.I am fine with only two classes as the game is very big on items, crafting and graphics. I would pass on this game and look into path of exile.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Iesabel pros: //fast game with modern day graphics with easy controls that moves from location A to B to C and so on cons: //some difficult battles //boring/repetitive //some lack of directions/instructions //good game Personal Suggested Purchase Price: $0.49 Or Less During Sale
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not as bad as they say. Once you get the hang of the game and, in my case, turn on the mini-map, the game becomes a lot of fun to play. I just wish I could go back an Act to complete all of the unfinished quests. :(
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The single-player is mediocre at best, but the multiplayer-part is completely dysfunctional, so stay away from it. Would definitely not buy again.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bad mobile port that seems to require you to be online for... reasons? The first time I tried it I was offline because my internet went out. Nothing died. Nothing dropped loot. I thought I was getting XP. Nope. I ended up dying pretty early on and nothing happened after a minute or two so I went to the main menu and restarted and found out nothing was working properly in my second game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →By the gods, this game is horrendous. Not even worth the $0.49 I paid for it. I figured "hey, it's only fourty nine cents, how bad could it really be?" Terrible, absolutely terrible. Voice acting is bad, navigating the map is a chore because you can't really tell where you're allowed to go and where you can, the inventory interface is trash, there's really just nothing good about this game. Don't even bother with it for $0.49.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is better played blind, I was a little scared going into it reading all of the negative reveiws and ♥♥♥♥. But, what I found was a little Diablo-like game with a few bugs that had some enjoyable game play and story choices.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →what can i say .. move along nothing too see here ..
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got Iesabel at pretty sensible price so can't complain. Generally it's good game, not the best but once you play more than 50 minutes (it can be challenging) and get used to controls it's okay and gets more interesting. It's not classic hack and slash game and not diablo either as it is totally different story. I can understand where all the comparison come from as the game has similar art style / atmosphere. Played a little bit more Iesabel and started enjoying it. Pros: - nice artstyle -…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fourth rate Diablo wannabe, right down to Town Portal scrolls and palaver about demons. It's occasionally fun, but mostly a repetitive grind full of backtracking and mediocre loot. A 40/100 effort. The good Great music - easily the best thing about this game Occasionally satisfying to smack or blast waves of mobs Skill upgrades are OK The bad Blatant ripoff of Diablo and its many clones Poorly translated texts, lots of typos and lost in translation issues Almost incoherent story and NPC…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The controls are terrible. I have tried multiple times to get into this game. It looks like it would be fun, but I get so frustrated during the first big fight that I have to stop. But I keep trying again. I put off writing a review until now, because I thought I was doing something wrong. At some point, I have to admit that banging my head against the wall is never going to feel good. I know this is an old game, it's been on sale forever, but maybe there is still one person who I can save from…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/38287655-Prof.Vaharrak/]Prof.Vaharrak's Curator Group - Almost 30 years of gaming experience at your service An OK ARPG. Only 2 classes. Sometimes you get nuked and that's bad. Cheap man's Diablo.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Only worth it if you buy it at deep discount on sale. I got it as part of a bundle for very little money so I am happy with it, but if I paid full price I would be upset. It is an OK game if you can get it very cheap, but the interface is horrible and the voice acting is not very good either. If you are itching for another game that is like torchlight or Diablo, but a far weaker version, then this is a way to kill some time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Blowing up monsters, beating numerous side quests, leveling up like crazy, having really awkward conversations with a shaman dude, Iesabel has it all. If only it weren’t a mobile game. Now, I have nothing against mobile games, or mobile ports, but Iesabel suffers from the common downfalls of an Android and iOS port. While the graphics of the game aren’t terrible, and manage to actually retain their quality throughout the game (which is better than about 75% of games these days), I found myself…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is filled with game-breaking bugs. And not just crappy AI, but including (and not limited to) your character freezing in place, being unable to use skills, being unable to open the options menu, skills not working, and quests not functioning properly. This is a clusmily-made port hurried to release, and it shows.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Although the game is buggy I admit it was fun for a while. The targeting system is beyond terrible. The fun part was trying to find build that will negate this for my witch. Summons plus tornado worked for most of the game. I encountered few other issues like spirit drain and generation issues. I decided to give up with the game just before the end of the game when it crashed, savegame got corrupted somehow and my character was loaded at first location in the game with no way to get back to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Online co-op doesn't work worth a damn. Avoid.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Despite the countless glitches like some of the maps being offset slightly from the actual GUI surroundings, and the in-town personal stash deleting items you attempt to store away, the gameplay itself is half-way decent. At least your laptop won't overheat . The intra-dialogue attitude problems between characters and NPCs is quite comical lol.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This action RPG is a hidden gem in my opinion, especially with the price often on sale at 50 cents! It looks better than many games in the same genre, with realistic graphics and textures compared to something like Fate or Torchlight. Two playable characters that feel very different with a focus a little more on story than loot. It certainly puts Silverfall to shame, but that's like saying the flu is better than pneumonia.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For the life of me, I don't know where all the negative feedback for this game is coming from. It was a fairly unremarkable Diablo clone, but there was nothing particularly bad about it. It was a decent enough mobile port, the controls were not bad at all, it had interesting enemies, and was at least average. I enjoyed it and finished it without any issue. Are there better games out there? Sure, but not for five dollars. Give it a shot. If you liked Diablo you should enjoy this. I liked it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →garbage mobile port 0/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is terrible seriously it's bad. If you are a person that hunts achievements if you want then buy it, but i don't suggest it considering i heard a few may be broken. Only reason to buy it is for cards, but that doesn't seem worth it really. Now on to gameplay. Balance in the combat is fecking awful. A single enemy can easily kill you anywhere despite your stats like i was like lvl 8 with some decent armor for a low level and lost most of my health to a wolf that either was level 4…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →mostly negative reviews? trailer looks good screenshots look good starting the game, intro looks good menu looks good then you start to play and surprise! it's just another bad mobile port with game breaking bugs and awful controls that you can't rebind
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For the love of gaming, do not waste your time or money with this game. I love my ARPG's but this unpolished offering is inexcusable. I played through the campaign as the Barbarian. Here are my personal takes: Controls/Gameplay: Very clunky. Melee hits don't feel like they even connect at times. (I used keyboard and mouse) Graphics: At times they are semi-pleasant to look at, especially in the frozen levels. Difficulty: It was all over the place. Some times I was whirlwinding through large…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First of all, let me say, I indicated that I would not recommend this game, but only barely. If you happen to be a fan of this type of game and don't have some other better game to play, it is by no means a broken or completely unenjoyable game and you'll probably have fun playing it. That said, it is pretty forgettable. What story there is is poorly communicated and the narrative is mostly irrelevant anyway. The controls are OK, but sort of clunky and you can't change them. Skill progression…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have played this game for an hour now and this game offers nothing that other free games offer more of. The character dont want to attack or break boxes and such when you are clicking on it the first or second time, its easier to to press the S key yes the S key on the keyboard to attack, you can actualy play the game with the arrow keys. The game has almost to nothing in the graphics apartment and here on the steam page for the game is says singleplayer only when in the game you can see a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If 76% of the players think its a bad game, how come 5,6% of the players reached lv 66 and finished it on hard difficulty? This is a Diablo like game where I click with my mouse left and right button to use my two most common attacks. Those who think S as primary attack didn't face the evil barrels just standing there taunting you... The only bug I found was when I put an item in the storage in town and it was gone. Thinking that the higher level equipment could be used later. With 5 hours…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Apparently played this for 26.5 hours a few years ago, but I don't remember a second of it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Only play this game if you are a fan of games like Diablo or Torchlight. and you might get a couple of hours out of this otherwise I can't recommend this. But damn the voice acting is god awful to the point where I'd rather watch an anime with english dub.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool Game ^^ <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is enjoyable, with colourful graphics! Its price (1/2 Euro) is a big deal, since the gameplay (although is not diablo 3) looks like Drakensang Online. A lot of quests, enemies and interesting story. If you are old school gamer and you dont care for next-gen graphics, that game is for you! I rate it 8/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So far its not that bad but the targeting system could be improved. I did get it for 0.49€ (90% discount) so moneywise its no loss but for the regular price i would expect more.
