The game had some beautiful areas to explore throughout the game, and the combat system was unique and super fun! It also had an awesome OST, it was a good time!

unlabelledView post →Ok got it! Similar games you might like are I Am Setsuna or Ikenfell for smaller games. Scarlet Nexus was really good took for more action and Persona like relationships. And for an older game I recently played Legend of Dragoon and it held up really well! Hope that helps 😊

I spent most of my time in the Switch launch window hopping between Fast RMX (remaster), I Am Setsuna (port), and Blaster Master Zero (indie).

It also has idols and JPOP, so it’s right up my alley. I Am Setsuna is an underrated JRPG with an incredibly story and soundtrack. It needs more recognition.

Another Eden is free to play, does have a non gacha game coming (physical too) but literally has Chrono characters in it (Among others) Never played Odin Sphere but heard good things. It is far too easy enough to just wander into a fight you can't win with these silver colored enemies, but at least give the player a chance to run from it if and when done on accident!

unlabelledView post →I adore I Am Setsuna. A great and well-realized game with a stellar atmosphere, and I think more modern RPGs could learn from it (in particular, its brevity). The fact some layouts are reused hurts it, and things end up blending together a bit. But I'd die for it.
