unlabelledView post →I do recommend! This was actually the first game I ever fully reviewed so I might be a touch biased but while the story/music/whole package doesn’t quite beat Setsuna for me, the tweaks to the battle system are actually cool! I did not however enjoy their third game as much 🙂↕️ (Oninaki)
unlabelledView post →The game in question was Oninaki, idk what the fuck it was doing translating the name as "Kimi to Ninja Warriors" but it's all I call that game now.
unlabelledView post →I NEVER REPLIED TO THIS MY BAD I really loved Oninaki in particular! It felt like a long lost ps2 game before everyone got nostalgia pilled like that so it felt very earnest even if it kinda xenogears by the latter half. Lost Sphear had a great concept and ost but the execution was probs their worst

unlabelledView post →Most of my games are on switch 1 but they may have ports so Ill list a few more: I Am Setsuna (LOVED it, also CT style), Lost Sphear (play after IaS). Last game is Oninaki and its action not turn based. World of Final Fantasy (I didnt like it, cutesy and complicated monster system)
unlabelledView post →also electric attacks do "light" damage, yadda yadda. idk, all this to say it's fun, it has good art (my main turnoff for chained echoes and the like), and honestly maybe i should've known I'd like this since I like Tokyo RPG Factory's final game, Oninaki I guess Lost Sphear goes on the wishlist

unlabelledView post →If you're a bit of an old soul, or have been through a few unfortunate ordeals in life, I sincerely recommend playing the game Oninaki. It has one of the most heartfelt and genuine stories about suffering. You can tell the people who made it understand despair, at the risk of sounding emotional.
unlabelledView post →I finished the story in Oninaki on Switch. A fun game, well worth the $20 on-sale price. Highly questionable morality but that's actually the point, I guess. I get in a mindset when playing RPGs: Grind, grind, grind. I often spend too much time grinding. I made sure all my daemons were full power, skill trees complete, best weapons fully upgraded, selected shadestone combos. The showdown with the Oni was over in about 10 seconds. I actually feel sorry for the poor guy. 😂 #Oninaki #Nintendo

Think it's a good, different kind of game for this month as apparently there are morbid, dark themes in it. unlabelledView post →Wow did Lost Sphear go above and beyond to remedy I Am Setsuna. Kinda glad I played that last, because I liked it better than the game that followed, my silver medal: Oninaki. Tonight I'll stream an older game that I tried to make a Let's Play of but couldn't finish for some reason.
unlabelledView post →19. Oninaki I found this game completely by luck while scrolling through demos years ago and I'm happy I did because it's a game I still cherish to this day. It's also one of those games I can't quite explain why I'm attached to it, it's not groundbreaking but it's my little gem 💕
unlabelledView post →It’s is! 👍 They were disbanded and absorbed by Square Enix and their last game was Oninaki. Have you played that one? I really like their games and wish they had stuck around longer.
unlabelledView post →I like I Am Setsuna's battle system but man, that game is desperately lacking in environmental variety and the story isn't very memorable either. I still need to play Lost Sphear and Oninaki though
unlabelledView post →#LostSphear is the recent game I played and the third game from the producer of Oninaki and Setsuna. So far my favorite! :3 Language is german, without voice. Have fun!!
unlabelledView post →#Oninaki was my first LP on this account. But it is still a wonderful game and also the third game from TokyoFactory Team In german and with voice. Have fun! (Sorry in advance for lags and strange volumes xD)
unlabelledView post →#oninaki is a stupid game LMAO
unlabelledView post →Yeah I vaguely remember that too. Super similar to FFX. There is also a not!Auron who joins as well and he was part of my final bro team. It honestly doesn't change much beyond snow and piano lol. I read that Oninaki is the better game? But no idea. I picked to play Setsuna instead lol.
unlabelledView post →That's good to know. I feel like I might get tired of fighting endless mobs, it's part of the reason I for some reason didn't get into Oninaki despite enjoying the demo & pre-ordering the game. But it seemed like Three Hopes has some of the Fire Emblem planning and story in it, along with the mobs
