unlabelledView post →The meme is: "'Video games cause violence' Based on the last game you played, what are you getting arrested for?" This time I'm playing Rise of the Third Power, so, yeah, definitely gonna get charged with some serious shit I guess, but it's for preventing war and sabotaging rising nationalism, so.

unlabelledView post →I immediately followed it up with Rise of the Third Power which has become legitimately one of my favourite RPGs I've ever played. This game is REAL good. I was sad to learn the writer has moved on from games, but this is one hell of a legacy to leave behind. moegamer.net/2025/09/28/r...

Cons go to the portrait (tho I did get used to them) and the combat becomes a bit too same-y near the end. Oh, and its sequel bait. Still recommend!

unlabelledView post →Ara Fell is such a charming and fun game. Rise of the Third Power is very mature in its themes. Highly recommend both.
unlabelledView post →"Rise of the Third Power. Huh. Wasn't this game the one made by the Ara Fell devs? Giving it a try, and why do they have the twiggy princess character fighting with a cannon? That's so funny and neat, I love it."
unlabelledView post →The only time that mentality really made a game hard on me is with Rise of The Third Power where level past the intended got ludicrous hard to achieve and combat so plentiful that I spend ridiculous overtime in areas for gain I could have had in the next zone for in like 2-3 battles. (2/2)

unlabelledView post →24. Rise of the Third Power From the same team as Ara Fell! Again, fun rpg mechanics that build off their last game paired with very strong, likeable characters that I'd normally dislike in a lot of other stories that bring them up as tropes. Some dungeons can drag, but its nbd.
