To progress in levels at the beginning the color sequence of ships which you have to shoot in the same order with the special shots. Ofc in higher levels there are swarming more enemies and they also shoot prejectiles after you. But the most nerve-wracking are the wrecks which still remain after each ship destruction. You only have 3 lives. So…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Shoot 'em up combined with a Simon memory game. Shoot 'em up: Shoot enemies... Simon: ... in a specific order. See e.g. [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_(game)]Simon game in Wikipedia. In Hyper Simon X, enemy space ships colored with primary colors (plus yellow) attack you, while you have to manage a special shot to the right ones in the right order. Idea is neat and it's not necessarily a bad game: indeed, with a better design it could be a good one. But some aspects make it a not…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a mix of space shooter and memory game. You need to memorize the correct sequence of ships based on it's color. Destroy them and earn many points as possible. You can also earn points by playing as a normal space shooter but you will get less points than destroying the enemies following the correct sequence. Controls feel very solid, pixelart is nice. The sound track is very good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →About the game Hyper Simon X combines the mechanics of traditional spaceship shooters with "simon" memory games, making you memorize which enemy ship you must shoot with the special shot in order to progress to the next level while you dodge enemies shots, debris and shoot them back with the regular shoot. The game itself aims to be a pastime when you want to waste some minutes, wait a large download complete or wait your girlfriend get ready to go out for dinner. Also, a bunch of A C H I E…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hyper Simon X is a fun and simple game where you play Simon Says while dodging bullets and asteroids. This added twist makes it that much more difficult to focus on the Simon Says objective. It won't keep your attention for long unless you care about the leaderboards but it's valued at a very reasonable price. I initially didn't recommend the game. I had a strange issue where the enemies moved 3x faster than they did in the game trailer making it impossible to play or enjoy. I solved this by…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is acceptable, The goal of the game is to remember the order of colors without making mistakes in order to get to the next level The game is better than (Planes, Bullets and Vodka) from the same developer
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the instructions were incredibly unclear
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Confusing implementation of Simon says and shoot-em-ups. The "instructions" on how to play are very poor and don't explain things well at all.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is atrocious.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hyper Simon X, developed and published by NukGames, is an unusual arcade experiment that blends two very different ideas into a single, demanding gameplay loop: memory sequencing and bullet-hell shooting. On paper, the combination sounds almost contradictory—one is about calm recall, the other about frantic survival—but the game manages to merge them into something cohesive by making both equally essential. The result is a fast, high-pressure experience that constantly tests not just your…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I GIVE THIS 4 of 5 TURDS!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game :) But the letters don't show up in achievement showcase
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →why would you put "simon" in the name of your game. what is interesting about simon. simon is the most bland name you could possibly have.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A little like Simon says, but it's fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its really not a bad game. I think with some work on the pixel art and gameplay it can actually become quite fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →is like Simon Say with space invaders xD
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Before you start the game a coloured ship appears and using the X or L key you need to hit that ship to complete the level. Each level adds another coloured ship required as well as gradually increasing the oncoming ships. Being able to have customisable settings would make the game slightly easier, but overall it's a wonderful game, especially if you want to practice your memory.
