44 of 44 · most liked firstI am totally biased, cause I loved this game as a teenager on LAN partys. Sadly the physics and time is tied to the FPS, which makes the game run ultrafast on modern hardware. All normal FPS limiter - even the one integrated in the Nvidia driver - wont work. Looked around for a fix and found a solution. How to fix the speed problem: 1. Download directx 8 wrapper: https://github.com/ThirteenAG/d3d8-wrapper/releases 2. unzip both files in the "system" folder of the game 3. open the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is so fast that it's literally unplayable ;D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →just like old time... except faster, like others people said... this change the feeling of the game a lot. By what i saw, 1 real second is around 5 second ingame ? gamespeed in the MobileForces.ini and Profile00.ini are ignored. so right now, no easy fix when the price is cut, its a must have anyway ( you can set the bot skill lower if needed ) if you wanna play over internet, the host need to forward port 7777 to 7779 and 8777 ( all UDP ) your friend will have to go in multiplayer / Open…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Blast from the past, this game is just amazing. The chaos on these maps and gamesmodes with the sounds is just fantastic Just need an FPS locker (Like Rivatuner Statistics) to lock the FPS at 60 and everything works perfectly. Wish they remastered this for some online fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is gold. Runs fine on Windows 10, just as how i remember it running on Windows XP. Some very minor bugs still present (some crosshairs don't match as the ones selected in the menu, they are just swapped around), but you can't really expect those to be fixed after all these years. About this game, it's like Battlefield had a baby with Counterstrike. In an alternate universe, this game is the one that would be as popular as them, unfortunately it never caught on that much. Has a lot…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A barrel of laughs and some good nostalgic fun. Holds up surprisingly well even now. Sadly, the multiplayer is no longer available, but even singleplayer with AI opponents has enough well-made content to justify the asking price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Despite this review being after "10 hours," I have played this game my whole life (since I was 10). I'm now one of the only people keeping Mobile Forces multiplayer alive. Reading recent reviews posted here fills me with joy. In the hopes that someone looking to play MF online is reading this, here is a link to our gaming community: https://discord.com/invite/xPcFh7E. We have a plethora of mods. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Horrible controls. Also it has no campaign, only bot matches, really boring stuff.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a lot of fun, I enjoy it a lot, it's also great to play in LAN when you don't want to take things too seriously. Highly recommend
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nostalgic game. Fun with the vehicles, the shooting model itself is a bit stiff
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An awsome game of my childhood, was a real grund breaker when it came out, I enjoy it every time!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mobile Forces is a good multiplayer shooting game. Pros: + Large maps. + Eight unique game modes. + Very clever AI teammates. They know the best tactics. + Four vehicles with different characteristics. + Every vehicle has two weaknesses: tyres and fuel tank. If they lose tyres when you are driving, you will lose control too. When enemy hit the fuel tank of your vehicle by a high-powered bullet from a sniper rifle or some bullets from other weapons, then you will dead for sure. Cons: - Player…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Childhood memories! It's still great fun to play this game at a LAN party. It's all about good mechanics, pretty graphics are overrated. It runs on Linux using SteamPlay too.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game brings me back to my childhood memories. When I saw it to came to steam, I knew this is a "must buy" title. I bought it on sale for 1,1€ and absolutely worth it. You can play the missions or in skirmish mode or a nostalgic lan party with your friends ;) Buy it now ;)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome game! I am totally biased and I don't care. Played this game my whole childhood.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mobile Forces fast game with modern day graphics with easy controls that moves from location A to B to C and so on, good amount of action and special effects, good game. Personal Suggested Purchase Price: $0.49 Or Less During Sale
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mobile Forces, developed by Rage Software and published by Funbox Media Ltd, is an early-2000s first-person shooter that occupies a unique space in the genre’s history—a transitional experiment blending classic arena-shooter gunplay with vehicular combat years before such hybrids became mainstream. Released in 2002 and powered by the original Unreal Engine, it arrived during a competitive era dominated by Counter-Strike, Quake III, Halo, and Unreal Tournament. Rather than attempting to imitate…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this game a lot when i was a child, it's still fun game! It has many game modes and maps.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Liebes Steam Team, Game is cut Liebes Steam, könnt ihr bitte MF wieder Uncut machen. Mit Rotem But und Todes Schreie. das Wäre sehr nett. Danke.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For being as old as this game is I think it holds up well. I have played it for years, its a simple FPS with vehicles and lots of guns, etc. The controls are simple, there is no complexity really to the game and I like that. For the price I encourage anyone who likes FPS games to give it a try.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If your just looking for a quick deathmatch game then this is your game. but its 20 years out of date and easily repetitive but still fun to play here and there.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is pretty much just Counter Strike: Condition Zero on Unreal Engine, except with less in it. Besides the vehicles I guess, but they don't really add much to the gameplay, but they are fun to drive. The levels kinda remind me of timesplitters a little with the varying locations, however the actual map design leaves a lot to be desired, they are large (which I like), but they often just fall into two, or sometimes even one lane maps, not very interesting to play, but kinda interesting to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →best fps game ever made i had gun and shot enemy with gun, but there is car in mobile forces 2002 fps game with gun and (car) yes! umm I would slam down 8 tsingtao beers to this game (good!)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a basic but fun game that emulates Counter Strike and Half Life and related games. You can play arena style matches with typical FPS multiplayer loadouts. There is a campaign mode where you complete matches against bots to unlock new maps, which is fun. Atmosphere is a bit surreal, kind of like those surprise indie horror games, but this is actually a very old, standard FPS multiplayer game from a generation ago.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →game runs too fast how to rtesume it to normal speed
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game takes me back to my core childhood memory where I used to play it for hours. I really love this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am not exaggerating when I say that this is the best multiplayer FPS game I have ever played. Even though SteamDB says I'm the only person in the world playing it right now. After only an hour, here's everything I love about it - It's simple, in terms of it not having mechanics like sprinting, extreme mobility and ADS - The maps are huge but there's always someone nearby to fight - You can play it offline with up to 15 bots, which are customisable - Plenty of game modes and a good variety of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Halo 3 для бедных
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Back in the day was my favourite shooter. Graphics for its time weren't that bad, campaign is straightforward but pretty fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Had to get a bit of help to lock the frame rate because the game was a runaway but this is pure nostalgia
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can't even run it without disabling the audio in the config file. Hope the devs will just update it for modern PCs.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are many better FPS-multiplayer games like this, but at least it is not a terrible one (just abandoned).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best PC game hands down!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →finding the name of this game was hardest part
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the maps are quite large and the ai is suprisingly smart when it comes to combat. it feels like a lesser yet fun poor mans counterstrike, however it makes up for it with decent visuals for the time and lots of cool loadouts. i think its a great game even to play with bots. if your a fan of counterstrike for sure pick this one up.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →pretty cool hidden gem i love it is very frenetic fps game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There was a text in russian written by a Ukrainian. Error 404 - ♥♥♥♥
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if you ever played that as a child then you know you had a great childhood
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its really good, but i refunded this to get stuff for tf2
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →GET THE TRAILER NUKE THE WHOLE AREA P.S Will need a way to limit frame rate as game speed is tied to it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am so happy this was on steam! i got this game new when i was young for $1, this was when steam was named valve. Still love this game to this day
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →old but classic
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a simple old FPS game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played the demo for this game on my dads old computer years ago and I loved it. It only had one game mode and one map and only 2 of the vehicles out of the 4 available but I played the absolute hell out of it. Probably a year after that we found a copy of the full game at an EB Games store in the mall and it was and still is an amazing game for me to play. The enemy AI isnt the smartest around and youll quickly find that certain AI characters are way more dangerous than others but its still a…
