If the game was marketed properly and developed since it was released, it would for sure have a larger player base. Most players now dont speak english and all the servers are eu based so bad ping. In order to join an official server (that only had 4 players active) you had to join a discord, and apply to play by being whitelisted. How stupid is that? I paid for the game just let me play? and even after joining discord and trying to whitelist, they never respond to you. I did manage to get into an asian server, and the game itself is garbage. Literally, Just play rust.

This game has been largely abandoned for a long time, it has gotten worse over time and is infested with cheaters and toxic players. For reference, just go look at the steam charts for it, and realize most of those (103 at time of review) players are likely not in your area anyway.

Not only are the servers completely empty, including no NPCs, but the grinding is pretty bland too. Building wasn't great either. Vehicles aren't made from parts you craft, you have to find them, and they pretty much pop up in the same places, except they don't have any parts, so you would grind like hell, all by yourself on a server, just to finally get a vehicle to go grind faster. Nope. nope...just nope on out of there.
