Graphite on cardboard is currently winning. But we have also just discovered paper fibers. So its anyone's game right now.

The difficulty is highly modular and you might need to impart some 'house rules' to keep things challenging, unless going infinite is your goal - in which case, there's tons of opportunity to work fate in your favor! The flow is solid and the art styles on display are great! I have some QOL-type grievances (keyboard, controller support), but honestly - with the release sale putting it at 7.19USD and my initial vibe being so good... I'll get over them…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome game. I love the combat and the art, and as a Persona fan, I really enjoy the character interactions during the camp sessions.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Graphite is a great game, the variety on items you have to make different builds is awesome, I have done builds based on waiting, based on boosting a single character, based on just attacking in general. To sum there's a huge amount of options on what you can do and no "defined" strategy as much of these type of game have. Apart from gameplay the characters are very likeable I got my favorite the Tamer, but everyone has a cool story and are pretty interesting to meet. Update: Really like…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun example of a roguelike RPG that clearly put effort into each element. It even includes an auto-battle option for those that might feel a bit overwhelmed with combat options, though (as you might expect) they aren't as tactfully-minded as a player would be. I especially like the juxtaposition of the real and fantasy worlds, and how the deeper into the fantasy the scene is, the more detailed the character design becomes. While I might not be that far into the game yet, I can…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Still exploring the game, Act3 for 1 character , Act 2 for the rest., on default difficulty. Gameplay mechanics and individual stories are interesting. The game deserves a bigger audience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first I thought the game would be a bit stiff on the gameplay side, but im really happy i gave it a try, because it proved me wrong, The gameplay is very fluid and as someone else mentioned in the comment, sometimes theres a spike in difficulty which makes me feel challenged in a good way, well done :D 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm 5 hours in as of writing this review and this game has a ton of great things going on. First of all, the style and feel of the game is excellent. It feels really polished with a unique and compelling aesthetic. Second, the combat system is unique and interesting and forces good strategy and thought. So far the game has been quite easy but I'm going to be ramping the difficulty up on my next run so I'm hoping and assuming it will get challenging. Something that feels unique in this game is…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fantastic game, whether you're looking for a chill game to play while listening to music or videos, or a serious tactical challenge that will force an extra few %'s of your brainpower out, this game is great for anybody that likes turn-based RPGs
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Graphite is a roguelike RPG developed by RipRed and published by indie.io that immediately distinguishes itself through a remarkably imaginative premise and visual style. Rather than presenting another conventional fantasy world, the game unfolds within the pages of a child's sketchbook, where hand-drawn heroes, monsters, and landscapes spring to life. This artistic direction does more than create an eye-catching presentation; it reinforces the emotional heart of the adventure. The world is…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is amazing, its so cheap the fights are enjoyable and the art is insane, the story is amazing althought i wish they had like a log book so you can go back thru and see the story play out, other then that the game is truly a masterpiece
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is a total blast, Def worth more money than they charged. Game is fun and lets you pull some shenanigans. The character designs are dope, Art style from grayscale full bodies in cutscenes to the stick art is awesome in my opinion. Enemy designs have a good variety, would love to see some more done. The monk and bard are my favorite characters, I like to use the hunter and rogue as a support character and to generate money. Couldn't recommend the game more, I love the variety of the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Graphite is a really fun game, and I got hooked on it as soon as I started playing it. It can be difficult, but it isn't overly difficult. The story is interesting and the gameplay is engaging.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So far I had fun. Game has an interesting concept and is not a deck builder like so many roguelikes on the market. You can also adjust difficulty after you beat the game once so it's a game that players on various levels of skills can play, contrary to most games like this that are are just unforgiving to players from the start.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What game character? Unlike Graphite, Pallad doesn't have a kaijin form. As far as I know, the game whose infection he grew from is never clarified. The Patient Zero virus just spawned a non-specific Bugster who's some cute gamer boy.

unlabelledView post →This game has been a big surprise for me. The combat is engaging and demands some quick thinking. At first it was pretty easy, but as I progressed the difficulty ramped up in a challenging but fair way. The art style is also incredible. For its price and the amount of content it offers I definitely recommend it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Updated review (original below): Eventually got FPS lock to work. The game still seems more demanding than it should be, but at least my GPU isn't at 100% anymore. It's a neat roguelite turn-based rpg centred around a well-executed timeline mechanic. Every skill has a wind-up time (during which it is liable to be interrupted, delaying it and reducing its damage) and a recovery time after it fires. Tilting the action economy in your favour therefore revolves around planning the exact timeline…
