Check out my podcast Steam on the Cheap where I review cheap games and let you know if they are worth your money. https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/steam-on-cheap-discovering/id899847567?mt=2 Gods vs Humans is a quirky tower defence style game that does not reinvent the genre but does add a neat twist. Here is my video review and keep reading for a more indepth review here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXhq07wcPw8&feature=youtu.be First off this game has a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played the android version of this game. I bought it to see what it was like on PC. The good parts of the game would be - having lot of levels, different gods to choose from (about 20) and some form of strategical placement when it comes to using your spells. By that, I mean that you don't just simply spam the spells as much as you want. You have to make the humans like you by casting "good" spells in order to gain worship, which is the resource used to cast other, more offensive spells for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So I read the other negative reviews, but I thought if the game was simple it might be a casual game timesoak for my young nieces and nephews when they visit, and at the price offered (on sale) I went for it. I should have listened to the other reviews. For me the game is boring. The same stuff level after level. However for my young nieces and nephews the game interface is too convoluted. If you have nothing to live for and nothing to do with your time, then maybe this game is for you.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its fun and I like the idea behind it, its a good concept for a game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is the waste of money. I tried to like it but it is no good at all. The first few level is fun. However, after the first 5 level, the game is getting harder and repetitive. There is no real different between the power of each god. No new strategy. Not recommend. Even at the discount I still miss my money. Over all this is a waste of time and money
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was ok on phone, but for a desktop version much more could be done. Like, I don't know, gathering faith represented by tokens, to purchase powers/upgrades. It feels too much repetitive and slow. I could hardly make it through 4 levels without shutting it down. The tendention of porting mobile games to PC is kind of a problem right now. No, I'm not saying that all ported games are weak. But this one surely belongs to long subway rides, not Steam.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game feels lik eit should be on a tablet, not on my PC. I bought this on the idea it would be entertaining for a bit, and to be frank it wasnt even that. Sorry guys need to try somthing diffrent.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →4.7/10 – Borderline, but ultimately not good. I like the idea but it's just not that fun. You are tasked with being a God; I have lots of experience with that so it wasn't a problem. You have to destroy the structure of your insolent worshipers. You have a plethora of God-like spells to use, as you fight to bring it down. I didn't like that if you focus on the bottom of the tower you could complete the level more quickly than you should. It is unique that you have to zoom in on different…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good puzzle-ish game go and play on a small windowed screen and open video/chatting/download this game is kinda slow paced (it depends on how serious you play it) basically you are the god who is preventing humans from reaching your temple in the sky by raining down magic stuff to topple down their building while maintaining their faith by summoning pin-up girls (hot chicks) and trying not to hit them with your magic. sorry for the short one since it already covers all of the game (i did…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gods vs Humans struggles with a style that gives you a hard time enjoying it's endless, repetitive boycotting of little humans that although look cute and funny, are horrendously annoying and boring in a negative way. Unless you can't find a better alternative for 7$, don't stick with Gods vs Humans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFKx5f6COM4
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An interesting tower defense-esque game. Essentially, you're a god who's trying to prevent the humans from reaching you via a tower they are building. It'll be up to you to keep them happy and knock down their tower at the same time. Anger them, and your "worship" points trickle in much more slowly (preventing you from using god powers as often). They also work faster when they're angry, which is bad. There's a lot here for $3.50 (on sale until Oct 17) including 20 gods across 96 levels.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Poor Graphics, Borning Gameplay, and sometimes just dosen't work.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun! I didn't expect much from the price tag, but I ended up spending a few hours on this. Surprisingly enjoyable, slightly repetetive. Worth the $3.49 I spent.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its cheap, yes. It has comical cute graphics, yes. But the gameplay is awful. Totally pointless and the fonts used are hard to read. So no, even at 1USD I wouldn't buy this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i was checking this game out but i didnt really get the description but it only cost tree fiddy (it was on sale). only after downloading it i realized my computer was about 8 stories tall and a crustacean from the paleolithic era.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was more fun than expected. (Note that I'm only 33% done) The game is deceptively simple but quite difficult once you get into it. The art style is quite unique and fun and the graphics are simple. As such the game is not very taxing. The sound design is good, and it has a bit of that not-really-a-language voice acting. The gameplay is fairly slow, due to waiting for energy generation, but this also means that once things go bad they snowball out of control. Luckily the rounds are short…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I remember having the demo of this game on the Wii, and I would always play it because it was really fun at the time. I was unaware, however, of how stale the gameplay is, which is expected considering the demo only lets you play the first level. Upon playing the full version, I realize what a waste of time and money it's been. I've reached level 10, I think, and even with a few unlockable powers, every single level is the basically the same. There are slightly different ways to beat a level,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →humor and fun ! slow but still good difficulty progression with quite a lot of levels and challenges to do :) nice to play in little sessions. test it !
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is just MEH... It's boring, repeatable, and not worth your money or time. I bought it because the phone version was ok but for a PC? there is simply not enough.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I buy it and now the game is broken -_- i am so sad i cant stand it .
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[This is not a review you would expect, consider this as slightly angry comment] There is something wrong with game which cannot grasp my attention within 30 minutes (or less). I don´t care what it is, just give me anything to lean on. Gods vs Humans didn't deliver nothing worthwhile. Click, click, click to destroy towers, watch them fall, and proceed to the next level. That's it. I don´t mind casual games and I am not arguing there is no level of challenge later on, sure it might be, but i…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I absolutely love destorying my tower of worship. Especially if it makes the little humans mad! This is a good game if you have a few minutes to spare but it can get monotonous very quickly. But it gets a thumbs up because it is fun and that laugh when you defeat a level... is fantastic!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I thought that maybe this would be a game to spend time playing while other things download. The problem is, it's way to repetitive. I got bored about halfway through the tutorial, but I pressed on, because I thought it might get better from there. It did not. The interface is rather sloppily put together, with the numbers on the abilities not actually working, and just having an overall feel of being designed solely for mobile and then simply released as a PC game. Even the sale price I bought…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is harder then dota 2 rank
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →nothing interesting about this game, and a complete waste of money.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute but require to use brain awww hahas...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10 It's harder than it's looks, but it's so fun... Don't let that puny human reach you~
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not bad , if u got it for free
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Usually when there is casual game, tutorial makes you want to finish it - it's very appealing and you'll end up playing game for half hour or more. However, this game is so... different. It made me rage. I knew it will be bad just by its name :( It's boring... it's mobile port. It's boring. It doesn't even look good... It's so bad for me, I don't know how to describe it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While I only played the tutorial and first few minutes of the game, I have to say that was more than enough for me. The game itself doesn't have much charm other than the artisitic cute design and it feels to be mostly for casual gamers and/or kids. The levels are bit repetitive, I don't really see the appeal to different 'gods' from get go, and the humor aspect also wears out pretty fast after first one or two rounds. It's also way too easy.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mobile game gameplay. Waste of time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played both this and the android version and love it. Super fun game that has provided me with a fair amount of entertainment with much more to come. Decent amount of levels with interesting gameplay and cute designs. If you love simple yet fun strategy games, I suggest you pick this up, especially if it's on sale!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A decent confuse ish game. go and play on a little windowed screen and open video/talking/download this game is kinda moderate paced (it relies on upon how genuine you play it) essentially you are the god who is keeping people from raining so as to come to your sanctuary in the sky down enchantment stuff to topple down their summoning so as to build while keeping up their confidence pin-up young ladies (hot chicks) and making an effort not to hit them with your enchantment. sorry for the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too repetitive. There's almost no way to not make your followers angry.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gods vs Humans is a lighthearted action-strategy game developed by Artefacts Studio and published by Microids Indie that flips the traditional god-game formula on its head. Instead of nurturing civilizations or guiding humanity’s progress, you play as a deity trying to stop humans from reaching your celestial domain. The premise is simple but clever: mortals are building towering structures to ascend into the realm of the gods, and it is your job to disrupt their efforts without completely…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute 3d art. Game sucks.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its an awesome game, I made a Youtube video about it and my fans also liked it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun game. The premise is so easy anyone can pick it up and play it. You are the God and you destroy the tower without killing the people. That is it, very simple. That is what makes this game great. Lots of levels to play. I suggest this game for anyone that is looking for a puzzle game with something different involved!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Where should I start? the only pro is the cute character designs. everything else is horrible. not worth a dollar. I want a refund.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can entertain you for several minutes. Honestly the game does not annoy me so much as thinking that the idea could be developed into a cool game, and this cannot be considered such. Consider it as a middle of the road online flash game, Not to disparage the devs, there is a lot of good work and ideas thrown into it, but I cannot recommend anyone buy it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game for under a dollar and its fun, its something different, unique in its own way. There arent many games like this accept the old populous, dust, and babel
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Colorful, relaxing mobile-like game... though I am surprised I can't find this game on actual mobile game store. But worth playing
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its possible that Gods vs Humans goes somewhere later on, but it was a very monotonous experience within the space of time that I played. A simple game for simple minds, probably much more suited to mobile devices. Probably quite suitable for kids, but as a grown man this doesn't really cut it. Given the game now routinely sells at 90% off though, it could be worth your while if you have a mobile device and a child to entertain.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tags: Clicker - Cooldown Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Engine looks tabletported. Mindless game about spamming spells to bring down tower levels on top of each other by destroying their supporting pillars. Repetitive and boring.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun to get stuck in to melt away time :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not bad, but little more than a mini game that can get boring after a bit if you must try it then wait for it to go on sale
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is by far one of the most repetitive-boring games I've ever played. I bought this game expecting a fun strategy game to waste time with, but instead I lost out on $5 that I could've used to buy something else. First of all, this game is extremely repetitive; the levels never change, there is absolutely no deviation from the basic formula of winning each level (spam on the first floor: win game.) Second of all, this game is not at all fun. There is nothing stimulating in it; there is no…
