I'll change the review when the game can be played with those problems solved

Even if you go all the steps of the support from team17 page, game won't work properly. Depening on your hardware it won't even start, i needed to force it to integrated graphics for it just to start, and even then it barely works. The bare minimum for a remaster should be to be compatible and fully playable with modern systems, and WWP Remastered fails on that front: in order to properly play the game you'll have to make some adjustments first and to make the multiplayer work you'll even need to change your router configurations. And creating games with friends is really difficult because your personal internet connection has to match certain exact settings for it to work. Which is a shame because the gameplay is classic worms.

An insane amount of artifacts, issues, bugs, glitches... you have to disable fullscreen optimisations (right click w2.exe, properties, compatibility tab) just to get rid of white boxes.

Unfortunately however it is incredibly buggy and unplayable. Game will not let me play in any other mode rather than single player. Even then I would get a black screen or partially blanked out screen. Gutted it didn't work out as I was hoping to play this for a long time. Thanks to Steam for fast support and refund.

It is not REMASTERED at all, it's the same game that was released decades ago and now computers and operating systems it was made for are obsolete and the code wasn't updated. This game has great sounds but that's the only positive. When you run the game, it stutters quite badly. When anything like explosions happen, then the stuttering is worse and clearly visible. I have a Windows 11 laptop that has an i5 processor with an RTX 3050 graphics card, so it plays lots of 3D games without any issues, so I am unsure…
