positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Funny little first person tactical team-based shooter where you plunder resources and capture foreign workers in order to build a megaship.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game audio was delightfully horrific. It was honestly a pretty funny concept for a game but every time I played for more than 10 minutes I began to feel physically ill and had to stop.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game costs less than two chocolate bars, and yet is loads of fun! Yes, there is a significant amount of jank, but it doesn't massively impact the experience in a negative way. In all the ways that matter, the game is quite stable, I consistently have a decent framerate and have only had the game crash once. Having spent the better part of my day today playing this game, I can say I am having a lot of fun. Tactical Police Action with Boomer Shooter Characteristics The core gameplay is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the N64 vibes are actually off the charts... the good, the bad, and the hideous, its all here.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was a cool game at first - it's like a tactical FPS collectathon. You commands your squad, steal workers, dismantle electronics and shoot some red guys. I truly wanted to recommend the game, but it has so many issues that make playing it a waste of time. It's overly simple and buggy. You've seen the whole game after like an hour and I, after over 4, still don't know how much of the game is left (there is a huge drop in Steam achievement completion percentages after chapter 4 so I guess most…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This goes in the “it’s so bad it’s good” category. The graphics are barebones. The gameplay and controls are a bit janky. Minimal story. There is a tutorial level but it leaves out some important details like how to manage your food, sleep and water bars. But all that aside it’s actually a pretty fun game, especially in short chunks. It’s rainbow 6 crossed with ravenfield if they were N64 games with a large helping of dystopian space future mega corp thrown in. It’s a tactical space fps…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So good. Like SWAT 4 crossed with Quake or something. Procedurally-generated missions, destructible environments, a hub that gets invaded, meta-progression in various forms (loadout, squad composition, player and teammate levels), endearing visual style, all imbued with just the right amount of humor and retro style. For only 3 American dollars. Inflation is a lie. Oddly detailed, too. The guards at your hub sleep and use the weapon vendors. You can see your wounded teammates recovering in the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My lunch today cost me £8. Future Breach 64 costs £2.49, I got it on sale at half price for £1.24, I feel like a thief. This game is quite easily one of the best games I've played in the last few years, it is filled with charm and humour, the premise is simple, but don't let the graphic style fool you, this game has alot more depth than meets the eye. The gameplay loop is addictive, you raid enemy bases to kidnap their workers and steal their resources for yourself and you stop them doing the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →From what little i've played, its a pretty good SWAT-lite. its very easy to get into and ends up being highly skill based and chaotic with relatively minimal preparation. Its not that difficult but some weird geometry and weird brushes make the game artificially more difficult. Bullets getting caught on invisible geometry brushes you can walk over (especially on ramped areas) is a problem. While the AI is not perfect and often acts bizarrely unnatural. Enemy AI also unfairly target you even…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic little tactical shooter with minor management mechanics. Eat burritos, kick down doors, and forcibly hire the opposing faction's workers to build your megaship. Reminds me of a mix between SWAT 3 and the old X-Wing v Tie Fighter games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love the idea of this game, and I want to love this game, but the squad mates are just so damn stupid that I can't even force myself to even like it. I get that the jank is part of the charm, but it's miserable when pathfinding and prioritizing craps out so frequently you wish you could solo missions. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I couldn't afford more squad members (since everyone kept getting shot up and their medical bills set me back ~$8,000), I saw my last tech…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Swat 5 spiritual successor we needed. Im looking at you ready or not
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ready or not on ps1 deep fried Good game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was gonna say "What if Rainbow Six but on the Nintendo 64?" but the original R6 actually *was* ported to the N64. https://youtu.be/P2cJ8Zt2AlI You CAN invert the Y axis, but it's not on the main menu screen. Start playing, then pause (Esc), then click on the ҈ symbol. I really like the feeling of achievement when you go back to HQ and you see your Space Battleship Yamato slowly coming together.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The galaxy is your toilet. All will serve MegaCorp. This is prime lofi slop. I love beating the plebes into submission before relegating them into eternal slavery building my MegaShip. Between each mission, I visit the cafeteria and bully the workers, snatching their lunch from their hands and devouring it in front of them. This must be what it feels like to be a chad. The game runs on a very long Dead Rising style timer and I have no clue yet how tight the tolerances are. Maybe I'll…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have been desperately searching for more games that scratch the base-building itch of MGS: Peace Walker and MGSV and WOW does Future Breach 64 deliver on that. Levels are short, addicting and easy to manage. It's cool to see your efforts have a tangible impact on the homebase + megaship build as the sort of progress-marker for players. Genuinely incredible
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not tactical, not deep, not immersive. Bad sound design, atrocious graphics. Almost all of the reviews of this game have less than 5 hours of game-time. Why would you play this game other than some masochistic/ironic feeling that "aw hell yeah this game is horrible"? Just play the demo before you buy it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The original Rainbow Six is great largely because of the fantastic atmosphere and sense of immersion. This game doesn't have that, but it does have the same clunky gameplay. The food/water/sleep system is also really weird and unnecessary.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Please don't abandon the game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun lil goofy game. Im hoping the dev adds more content. Also some music would be nice.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →absolutely phenomenal. i wish that the workers were a little more susceptible to me and my various boys yelling at 'em, seeing as we're all heavily armored and armed, but i suppose that's what my fists are for
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Me: Mom can we have ready or not at home? Mom: We have Ready or Not at home Ready or Not at home:
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →-->*ACTUAL TIME ~25-30HRS. Glitch kept game time up when closed.*<-- I want to like this as there's a lot of good. Good voices, good lines, good "graphics", goofy story and more. But "want to like" and "I like" are different and the issues that turn me off from this are too big to be ignored by "YOU CANNOT JUMP IN THIS GAME!" The #1 issue is the squad. For this being a squad shooter it really feels more like a babysitting simulator. I'd rather just be able to sit barrels around than…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cute game, reminding SWAT 4 tactical gameplay with extraction elements. The worker's sounds are very cute and funny, it is always a hilarity when listening to them. i hope they will add more variety. Your allies' voice lines are barely if not at all listenable. You can't really assess a tactical report from them. Audio is key in such games, you gain so much information with proper clear sounds. Not only that, but their AI is very questionable. To the point that they go in front of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tactical, silly. Bizarrely well thought out.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it's got the heart and soul that only an incredibly low budget masterpiece could have.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A little disappointing, honestly. It's a fun game, but I'm struggling to see why anyone should buy this version instead of just replaying the prologue fifty times. There's very little in the way of extra content, and during these extended gameplay sessions, the bugs really start to show. If it were any more expensive than it currently is, I would not be recommending it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I imagine im ICE
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What an absolute steaming pile of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Imagine R6 Vegas but with horrible graphics and a generic story-Welcome to Future Breach 64. Basiclaly you are a commander for a military team inside Megacorp (The place you work at) and need to raid the Union's (Enemy faction) bases to steal workers, fuel and tech scraps to build a MASSIVE ship to get the hell out of here due to an asteroid threathening to hit Earth. Buy equipment, farm gold and buy out a whole squad to carry out missions of raiding bases and protecting yours. As for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →OK hear me out Rainbow Six, Space ICE agent, it's great if you like the 2 mash ups! And I love crazy concepts like this!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →SWAT 64: XCOM Surprisingly good game. Chunky as hell with perfect N64 vibes, right down to super-jank from being too ambitious for 1997. In order to build a spaceship and escape imminent death by asteroid, you've got to go and steal workers and resources from other megacorps. Good concept. There are a lot of nice touches, like people greeting you as you walk through the base, you can eat and drink in the canteen along with everyone else, you select missions from the mission control room, you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is just fun. You can make the game less blocky in the options, yes there are a few glitches here and there but overall for the price this is an insanely fun game, Can't wait to see what this developer does next.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Future Breach 64 is an indie tactical shooter developed by Yurii Nikshych and published by TheGamesFortress that deliberately fuses old-school presentation with modern ideas about squad control and environmental interaction. From the moment it drops you onto a mission map, the game makes its priorities clear: this is not a pure run-and-gun experience, but a compact tactical sandbox where planning, positioning, and coordinated movement matter just as much as trigger discipline. Its distinctive…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For a buck on sale like yeah go for it, it's silly jank and fun if a bit light on content for now. It's fine, it's so cheap, waste an hour with it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →click 33 times to enable fovslider. :) workshop support unlike ready or not. :) can tone down the annoying pixel shader. :) more going on in terms of world building, progression and tactics than ready or not, getting people to surrender feels way better here with several stages and methods to the process. it also has better level destruction while ready or not is STATIC while at the same time entirely BLOATED like the entire game is made out of tiny physics sugar cubes constantly rubbing…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →still a work in progress but it kinda feels like old rainbow six to me, or at least how it felt playing it in my child hood :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fantastic game for when you've just got a few minutes to kill. Individual missions can be done in less than 10 minutes. overall the game is really fun. Its a casual take on your typical squad based tactical shooter with a fun sci fi twist that has you playing an evil corporation hit/capture squad rather than a police Swat team. Definitely could be some issues with repetition in the long run, but I'm enjoying it so far, and can see myself squeezing in a short session between work and other…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun, and an absolute blast. A total hidden gem with lots to offer. Nice gameplay loop, some fun mechanics, awesome old school art style, and a good sense of humour. Definitely worth a play in my opinion.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →‘Rainbow six’, or ‘Ready or not’ for the Amiga generation
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Far too janky to recommend. Friendly NPCs do not follow orders and get stuck on architecture. Graphics are an eyesore.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game lots of fun would recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's fine. I only paid $0.60. Gets terribly boring quick but worth the price of a few gumballs definitely.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →come on gang, we got futures to breach
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Would be a bad game if I said so.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My friend gifted this to me and said it was SWAT game, and it kinda is but also a life sim????? its kinda interesting, awesome Voice acting.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What happens when you take SWAT 3, place it in a world that's so ridiculous it toes the line of being a s**itpost, then make it in a way that it wouldn't look out of place on a 64? Well then you have this game, and its wonderful. Its janky and a little obtuse at times, but it's only $3 so I can recommend it on that alone.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun tactical shooter with a goofy setting and an enjoyable style.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Working for MegaCorp is pretty cool
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Been playing Future Breach 64 lately, this game is based. #characterart #sketch #futurebreach64
unlabelledView post →Pax Autocratica owes it's entire existence to this game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →gives me a headache to play for longer than 30 minutes, still cool
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lowkey the best 3 dollars I've ever spent.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The kind of game where you get hungry, walk up to your coworker in the cafeteria, use CQC on him, disarm him of his burrito, and eat it in front of him knowing he can't do ♥♥♥♥ because you've got a AK-47 pointed at his face.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unfinished ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So after 22 hours I am maybe 1/4th of the way done. That being said I love this game and highly recommend it but with a BUYERS BEWARE that I wish I knew going in. This is a slow grind. You will be doing countless missions slowly and I mean SLOWLY building up your resources to build your escape ship piece by piece. You have a squad of AI teammates you can give orders to but don't rely on them too much. The AI in this game is dumb, like REALLY dumb. Countless times I ordered for someone to blow…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The corporate overlords need labor, so get started arresting them. This is Future Breach 64, a game where you basically grab dudes and force them to work on building an escape ship. Like Starship Troopers, except more just about capitalism sucks and the police suck than the military industrial complex and patriotism sucks. Yeah, that’s a good way to say it. So this game is a bit rough at times, but that’s mostly because I’m not fan of the graphics. But if you watch the trailer and don’t mind…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Reminds me of something you would play on roblox in 2011. Not bad not great. Good price tho so give it a go if you're into that kinda thing.
