positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably the best co-op experience that I’ve ever had. An underrated gem that has a lot more than meets the eye.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a fun brawler and bullet-hell combination game with a nice visual aesthetic, but held back by some unfortunate design decisions that make it less fun to play in offline or solo mode, as the online play in 2025 is mostly dead. The color-specific shielding mechanic for enemies is an interesting gimmick for a while and is probably a good way to encourage team play in online or local multiplayer matches, but in solo mode it feels like an unnecessary chore to constantly switch back and forth…

unlabelledView post →A horribly underrated game completely missed by most people. A very fun coop beat em up with a TON of unique puzzles. I played this on release and I loved it. It can be very difficult at times as well.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Surprisingly deep game with almost equal amounts of fighting and puzzle solving, secrets, etc, but it lets you take each at your own pace. You're not forced to solve puzzles if you just want to play a fighting game. The story was also well written and interesting. Absolute blast for a 4-man squad, we beat the game from start to finish.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is an absolute banger for co-op fans. I've purchased this game twice (on PC & Switch), spending 60+ hours on Switch. My partner and I LOVE this game as it offers a unique brawler experience that's fun, engaging and challenging. We tend to stick to our strengths in game meaning she's melee heavy and disrupts the battlefield while I focus on targeted damage and hit stuns. Both of us do our fair share of reviving as the game finds ways of killing the both of us. We do have different…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this initially about a year after launch with a friend, and we had a great time then. Loved the gameplay, loved the focus on puzzles, filling my screenshot folder with clues and drawing out hints, and posting theories in our voice chat channel while getting absolutely dogged on by some secret bosses. Left it satisfied. Rogue Legacy 2 came out not long ago, and its incredible. Truly a fantastic sequel and worthy of their gameography, had a lovely time. but coming back to this game just…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →They haven't even tried making this enjoyable without a gamepad. Its easy to just add a crosshair which you can move around with the mouse, instead they just measure the movement of the mouse, and rotate the aim around at the same speed, which leads to you eventually moving outside your mousepad. It is horrible to play.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A criminally overlooked gem right here. Full Metal Furies can best be described a beat-em-up bullet hell action RPG for 1-4 players (local and online!) that excels in fast-paced frenetic chaos and rewards strategy and teamwork. I honestly haven't had this much fun playing through a beat-em-up with friends since I first played Castle Crashers back in 2010! The story is interesting and engaging, the characters are genuinely charming to the point that I can't pick a singular favorite, and the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Half brawler, half puzzle game. Surprisingly this fusion works really well, as puzzles are inventive and fun to crack. Brawler part is okay, but I was actually more excited about clues, secrets and riddles. Some people have a problem with colored shields (enemies are immune until a certain character attacks them), but it was completely fine for me (we played 3p).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not about anthropomorphic animals.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is such a hidden gem, even among indie games. The puzzles were creative and challenging, the humor consistently gave my friends and I a chuckle, even as college grads, and it has a great balance of simple game features that challenge your mastery of mechanics and teamwork, even until the end. 100% recommend, even though this game came out years ago, its still great with friends. I also 100% recommend doing funny-different voices with each of the characters, as it really adds some…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun early on but then it gets too intense with too many things to keep track of. Lasers all of over the place, enemies with shields immune to everyone besides one player. At the same time some of the enemies with shields have a second shield and are immune to all attacks even from the one player it is supposed to be susceptible to. It goes crazy and not in a good way. To me the secrets are not fun either, its not possible to see them, its the classic thing. Do you like going around hitting…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Much better than I expected. I'm playing with my daugther at the moment and we are having a lot of fun. 10/10 would recomend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of my favorite games of all time (played it on the Switch originally and am now replaying it after buying it for our group) It's a really well-designed ARPG where you MUST work together- on the surface. The more you play, the more you'll realize this is actually a puzzle game. I can't gush about it too much because this really is one of those "go in blind and your mind will be blown" type of games. (I would only play this at 2-4p though, it's not nearly as good in singleplayer)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →3) Underrated game(s) Who's Lila Laika: Aged Through Blood Brutal Orchestra Good Knight Where my definition of "underrated" doesn't include "games that are good with an understandably niche audience" like Full Metal Furies and Rabbit & Steel
unlabelledView post →We started with 4 people, but now it's just the two of us playing. It's still fun, it's still interesting. The fact that some places in the game are impossible to find without looking at the guide makes it uninteresting. In some places, it is impossible to pass the level without 4 players. Overall, it's one of the best co-op games out there.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a gem. A beat em up with pretty interesting mechanics. It can be hit and miss, but to me a lot of the unique mechanics are good hits. I'll have to say though it's better played as a playthrough game, something you play and progress through together with the same people, and not treated as a party game where people just play for a session and be done with it. That said, the game isn't that long, you can beat the game within 20 hours. The game also has very good online coop…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow! A straight-over-the-plate, couch co-op DREAM. Responsive and dynamic game feel. Challenging but fair difficulty. My roommate and I lost an entire day the first time we booted this up. Huge "just one more run" energy coming off this potato. And way better writing than is required that had us laughing out loud. Fun and dynamic leveling system. I could go on. Can't believe I slept on this for as long as I did. Great game!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a real gem that went completely unnoticed. Extremely fun and satisfying co-op beat 'em up with 4 completely different characters you can chose from (looking at you Castle Crashers, with your 50 copy-pasted playable characters), each with their unique tech tree and equipments, that you can mix and match to change completely the way you play the character. The game also encourages the player to change equipment, by giving small stats increase, this way you are more incentivized to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →EVERGREEN INDIE GAME REC OF THE DAY: Full Metal Furies A "tactical beat-em-up" with bullet hell elements for 1-4 players with some of the most enjoyably goofy characters and story dialogue ever to grace video games. From the makers of Rogue Legacy and Don't Shit Your Pants!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →im one the sniper titan and its a fun game its difficulty is perfect and the bosses will change your life forever, one of the best games i have ever played. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great co-op game! It works best with 2 players, with 4 it gets a bit messy. Love the gameplay and the humor!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of those games you've never heard of, but is a gem. It's humorous, the gameplay is solid, it can be challenging, the music is great, and ultimately just all around fun. This is a must have if you're into the genre.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you LOVE feminism, you'll really be stoked on this. Every enemy is a man. MEN are the WORST. Idealistic brainwashing is great for furthering our species. ?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Let's talk about cooperative gameplay, or shall I say, the lack thereof. This game's approach feels about as uninspired as a microwave meal. Take, for instance, enemies with color-coded shields – only one player can touch 'em, leaving others twiddling their thumbs. And if that player's down for the count? Well, congrats, you've got yourself an invincible foe on your hands. Then there's the "helpful" mechanic where enemies telegraph their targets. Sounds neat, right? Wrong. Instead of covering…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am going to be one of the negative ones because this game just rubbed me the wrong way with the cryptic puzzles and hidden objects which are MANDATORY to complete the game. Positive: - The game can be fun playing with 3-4 people to cooperate beating enemies, although you need to distribute melee and range fighters to have some balance - Gameplay can be challenging and it scales more or less well to cover for the upgrades you get. - The bosses have diverse attacks and have nice designs. I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is a good game, the only unfun mechanic is the colored shield. If this was removed the game would be so much better.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing and challenging co-op game. I'm playing with my kids (ages 5-9) and we are having a great time with it so far. Really impressed with the quality of the gameplay, art, music, etc. Very, very good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I talked about Full Metal Furies in a bonus episode recently, lots of games try and do the hidden layers of puzzles thing and eat shit because the actual game the puzzles are hidden in isn't good. The board game in BP integrates and invites curiosity while being fun in its own which is important
unlabelledView post →Fun and engaging co-op game. The characters are really different, and you're encouraged to try different builds, the levels are challenging and dialogues are hilarious. One of the best co-op games I played with my friends! It also encourages proper coop instead of just kill things on the same screen. Definitely give it a shot if you like action games, or if you have friends!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great teamwork, unique system of only certain players can damage certain mobs at certain times.. always rotating and keeping everyone moving. 2025-11-26 Update: My kids and I have >27 hours played and still loves this game. This is one of our favorite games of all time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just wasted two hours tonight puzzling over why Full Metal Furies stutters on Steam Deck when docked to the TV. Turns out the 8bitdo controllers, connected via bluetooth, cause frametime stutters on the Deck for some games. Plugged in via usb, and stutters are gone. UGH (Kids love the game tho)
unlabelledView post →Cute and funny party game at first. Extremely long and grindy, but progression feels terrible and the game does nothing to shake up the gameplay as you go. Feels like a flash game in a bad way, there is just no incentive to keep playing after the first couple sessions.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →stopped working in coop mode because the host would get stuck in a loading screen and other stuck in a dialog same thing happened later when we changed host
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great side scroller with secrets! Hope more people hop on this one. Ran through the game with one other player. Groups of 2+ seem to be a great way to play through it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is cryptic as hell, and not all that fun to play. Good luck solving the puzzles on your own, I guarantee you'll have to either look up the solution online, or spend hours trying to figure out what the heck they're asking you to do.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game where u beat up a gymbro bull, robotic turtle, a racist sniper mummy, and the hobo king in your camp. Atleast u chill with the devil.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DUDE!!!! This game is just awesome! Especially i liked the humor in dialogs and item description. There are many many secrets and puzzles that are too hurd for my opinion though... Not that they are hard, but rather very specific that require you to have a whole ass team of people with different knowledge and interests to even know where to start... Me and my buddy and we could only solve some on our own and then gave up... Internet just knows everithing you know? But for those who really into…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is good but I'll not recomend it because the devs abandoned it, if you have a bug good luck trying to fix it because even on the discord they don't answer. Good gameplay and it's fun but the puzzles to find the codes are very boring and frustrating.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →remove colored circles
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →underrated... play full metal furies co-op as soon as possible
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The cooperative mechanic design is boring and lazy: - Some enemies would have different colors of shield that only the designated player can deal damage to them. For the player that does not have the matching color, there is absolutely nothing you can do. And what if the corresponding player is downed? Congratulations, now you have an invincible enemy on the field that will still try to attack you relentlessly. - Enemies will show who they are currently targeting. This mechanic is designed in a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Adorable game that is a lot of fun with friends. The different characters that you can play allow for different gameplay depending on your mood. I will say the combat doesn't feel super smooth and some of the AOEs of the enemies are a little wonky but it was still a good time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The idea of bosses as titans was fun, you're a tiny human compared to the size of those things. I loved the game throughout all its stages and design, the mechanics were unique for each class and that's what was fun about it. I played the Sniper class which can be tough sometimes because of the aiming. The gameplay, stage design, soundtracks and boss fights were unique. Overall Rating 9/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →MY FAVORITE GAME EVER<3333 EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS GAME IS PERFECT
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gameplay loop, combat, and joke writing are all amazing, though it's a little bit buggy from time to time i know it's been 8 years, but hopefully this game will age like wine, or get a remake that gets advertised, and uses rogue legacy's fame to be bigger strongly recommend
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Full Metal Furies is a very good and surprisingly unique action RPG. The gameplay is atypical and works particularly well in co-op, with different classes that encourage players to experiment with different roles and playstyles. The game is fairly linear, but there are plenty of hidden secrets and puzzles that add some exploration to the experience. 100% steam achievements Time : 35.7H Completion Difficulty : 3/10 Playthroughs : 2 Missables : None Guide Recommended : Optional, but useful for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For 2 players: Snipperclips+ (physics/spatial reasoning puzzles) Scribblenauts Unlimited (creative puzzle solving) For 2-4 players: Heave Ho (silly physics platforming) Castle Crashers (beat-em-up, fart jokes) Full Metal Furies (spicy isometric action game with lots of secrets)

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →see that i havent reviewed this game. even though im not going to play it now i feel i owe it to it to review... it is an AMAZING game. Ive played it 19 hours with my gf. It is simply super enjoyable.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good co-op game. I played it again after finishing it (which is a good sign). Characters are diverse enough to make the game feel different for each character. All characters have gameplay depth, some can be played a little bit more button-mesh-y than others (but this is clearly not intended as a button-meshing game). I really like the art / aesthetics. Dialogue is actually funny.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →9/10 co-op Beat'em up. Especially like how the gameplay is not about button smashing but is slower, tactical, intentional and coordenating with teamates. Wished that there were more games like this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Full Metal Furies is an energetic and surprisingly thoughtful action brawler that takes familiar beat-’em-up foundations and builds something far more strategic and cooperative on top of them. Developed and published by Cellar Door Games, the studio best known for Rogue Legacy, the game immediately signals that it is not content with being a simple button-mashing throwback. Instead, it blends fast-paced combat, RPG-style progression, and puzzle-like combat rules into a tightly designed…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Back in 2019 I started doing a couch co-op night every few weeks with some buds, we found this and had a were having a great time. Then covid happen when we got to the third Titan. Still kept doing the co-op online and we finally got back to Full Metal Furies this year. Well worth the wait, a great beat-em up but it also is a very in depth puzzle game especially at the back half. If you have some friends that love to fight and think a bit this is a great option.
