The tutorial area is almost identical in both games. This game only has the cleaning aspect of No Place Like Home and nothing else. in NPLH there is some combat with robots, interaction with villagers (including shops), farming crops, ranching animals, keeping pets, building and furnishing a base, exploring through in an open sandbox world (etc). This game is a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have such mixed feelings about this game. It is lovely and cozy but the cleaning can be tedious and not in a good way. Every object takes the same amount of time to clean no matter the size, so if youre someone who enjoys doing things in a certain order, its pretty much pointless. The game is also sooooooo dark. Idk if its because im on steam deck or what, but I have to crank up the brightness every time I open this game. Overall its an ok game, but not one i find myself going back to
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A simple and satisfying first-person game where you restore fauna and flora across different parts of the world. Rejuvenate nature and watch the environment bloom back to life! Highly recommended if you want a stress-free, feel-good experience! Only (-) point would be is the music which gets repetitive fast. Would recommend using your own playlist! ❤︎
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As others have said; every level is very similar and the upgrades are only small improvements to your abilities. Too small to be satisfying to unlock. There are better clean up games to grab. That all wouldn't be that bad, but I also ran into a bug where I cleaned a whole level and a quest item didn't spawn in. So I had to start the level again.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A hastily, cobbled together, untested, asset flip. They basically took their last game and went "Oh no, that didn't sell well! Here's the same thing but dumbed down." There's not enough XP to max out most of the skills even if you 100% everything, some skills don't even make sense, like why would I need 10 inventory slots when there isn't a single level that needs that many slots? Why would I upgrade the sprayer and hoover things when they suck so hard? Why is everything so slow? The game…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tell me why after investing hours in getting upgrades to the watering function, and even going out of my way to fully upgrade the "instantly clean dirt and grow plants" branch of the upgrade menu, It STILL won't clean mud or grow plants any faster? I wanted to recommend this game, because in concept its exactly my kind of cozy game: turn brain off, clean stuff, enjoy cute aesthetics and animals. Sadly the core mechanic of this game involves watering plants by just pointing at them and holding…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like cleaning games and I can spend huge amounts of time in "boring" slow games. However this game is just too tedious even for me. The game plays better on 2x or 3x speed, it's just so incredibly slow. It feels more satisfying on higher speeds too.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love nothing more than a mindless cleaning/flipping game, so when I saw this I was really excited because it seems up my alley. The first few levels were enjoyable but eventually it does get repetitive, as upgrading costs a fair amount and it takes a while to get good enough equipment to notice a different in how fast you clean. I saved up as much as I could to get the final upgrade which says it "instantly grows plants" so obviously that seems like it would be OP, right? Wrong :( it took me…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game was relaxing and good. But, one achievement pissed me off in the end. Its so buggy that I redid some levels, does not work. Then, I followed a guide in editing my save file. I am missing two "Animal Pets" log. So it was a failure. It ended up my save file unplayable. Good thing I had backup. The game is quite good and satisfying. Cleaning and 100%-ing. But, Im also an achievement hunter kind of person so, buggy achievements should be seen and fixed. My stand goes from recommending to not…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I loved this game, it was so cozy. Unlike Power Simulator, where I was unable to complete the final scenerio no matter how many times I cleaned the ship, this one was stress free. The animations were cute, and everything is better with cats.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love the concept of this game! They haven't made any updates since the beginning of 2025, which is kind of upsetting. I genuinely enjoyed playing this game. I wish they would come out with more for it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →relaxing and fun game but trypophobia warning with the mushrooms i was SCARED
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun cozy game, but clicked the map and clicked the level I was on, clicked play which I thought would be resume since I couldn't exit the map and it completely reset my progress even though I saved it and can't undo it. Please fix.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →worked fine on my steamdeck. rezlly nice cozy game similar to powerwash sim but with cute animals
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game! It's so addictive but SO satisfying, I love the after effects of the cleanup because everything looks so beautiful, I hope this developer makes more games like this or at least some DLCS.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →low effort content Don't expect a cleaning game like viscera cleanup nor powerwash. gameplay is "clicking on plant and waiting until it's done". Imo it's not worth to waste time in that ; even upgrades aren't very powerful and don't makes it better.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →idea is very cool and artstyle is very cute but watering plants, getting water, getting rid of trash, getting coins, getting upgrades... everything is so painfully slow and upgrades u get doesnt make fast in a meaningfull way so it gets so boring after a while
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't like to post negative reviews, so I have to explain myself. Instead of just a pass/fail, I rate this a 3/5. It's a pleasant use of an afternoon if you're into this satisfaction genre of games. It needs some work. I came to this game looking for a pleasant grind with the satisfaction of completing a process. This meets that goal very well. The game operates well. The instructions are clear. The graphics are cute and internally consistent throughout. I really like the animation of the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love cleanup games.. but this ain't it. All you do is either spray water or hoover. It doesn't matter where you spray exactly, just in the general direction of the target is enough. And you have to stand there and spray the target for 10 seconds each, no matter if it's a tree or a tiny flower. There's nothing changing about this. No different nozzles like in powerwash simulator, no different things to do like in crime scene cleaner, no, all you do is stand there, hold the mouse button, wait,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun time-waster, especially while you're watching a stream or something. Cute, easy mechanics, doesn't go too crazy, satisfying, progression feels like progression. Yeah, I just enjoyed myself thoroughly overall with this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Waste of time. I really like cleaning simulators, it's one of my favorite game genres in general, but I haven't found much in it lately, but when I saw this game, and the price of 90¢ for my region, I thought it might be what I was looking for. But the game turned out to be boring and very long. The basic game mechanics are unpleasant, the visuals in the water jet are bad, the upgrades are terrible, the sprinklers and hoovers are useless, and the most important thing is the water flash upgrade,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute game, sadly the final upgrade skill for your water hose is underwhelming. Other than that it's very relaxing <3

unlabelledView post →This game is fun and was a nice distraction, but there are lots of frustrations with it. I recommend waiting until a future update before buying or wait until it's on sale. Feedback for the devs: 1) Make it possible to purchase all of the abilities instead of having to level up just one tree. I one hundred percented every level and still didn't have enough to buy anything. Players deserve to experience everything in a playthrough! 2) The upgrades to the water hose don't actually increase…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I unfortunately can not recommend this game at full price. I think I'd be upset if I paid 10 but if you buy it on this 2.50 sale you wont be disappointed. I'm enjoying this game. Its like an easier power wash simulator themed around saving nature and animals without the tedium of checking every cranny for dirt you missed. You don't even really need to finish the level to progress. I am the perfect target for the general idea. But it isn't satisfying to me to pet the animals with a disembodied…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was looking for something that scratches the same itch Power Wash Simulator does. This game does have that potential, but its quite boring. Spraying Dirt and Flowers with water every level gets old very fast. It's a short 100% for 2€ when bought on discount, so thats ok. But it's too boring to recommend.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoyed this game. I loved going to the different locations and the way they looked. I loved seeing each place get restored and the little cats and other animals are super cute. I hope they continue making more maps and stuff as I finished the game in about 14 hours. Very enjoyable, cozy and relaxing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a beautiful, relaxing game. Everything about this game is cozy and heartwarming. It also gets a nice discount regularly, which is why I bought the game. Otherwise, I wouldn't have bought it since I am not familiar with this genre. It is said that there are some buggy achievements. Thankfully, I didn't encounter many of them. It didn't make me do another playthrough, just spend nearly an extra hour. Maybe I got lucky or they had already been fixed. But it seems the devs are willing to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the game a Lot, especially afer I got it in the Sale! +cozy +nice graphics +good gameplay +circa 7hours of gameplay -you level up pretty slowly -you cannot complete the whole skilltree -if you finish the story you cannot go back to certtain levels (so if you want 100% achievements, you need to play it again from the beginning)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It can be pretty and it's nice seeing the levels transform as you complete them, but I'd have a hard time recommending this one due to how rough it is. So far the upgrade tree seems really lackluster and some of the upgrades you can unlock don't seem to actually work all that well and there's no variety in the cleaning over the levels. Things just take too long, when you need to sit and hold the water gun on a tree then sit and wait for it to come to life. I'll probably keep playing this…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like this game but it glitched in the last map and I couldn't go any further. I did love the fact you clean and then revive everything with water.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple and short cozy game. Would be nice if the abilities unlocked a little sooner. You finish the whole map before you can get all the perks.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute and calming. I've played at least 3 times through and love to revisit on days I just need the calming effect of well planned goals. Obsessively play in one go, sacrificing a whole day of pretending to adult, or give it a few minutes when you need something to focus on. Tutorial is complete and easy to understand. Love this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even though there is a little bit of clunkiness playing on the Steam Deck (the game isn't Steam Deck verified, but it is totally playable on there but a little bit of clunkiness in menus/saving) this is an amazing chill and forget the million other things plagueing your existance for an hour kind of game. Also, you can put hats on cats. And pet the animals... 12/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I gave it three levels plus the tutorial for the opportunity to wow me. To even interest me. That never happened. There is little to no variance in game play and maps. It honestly feels like a game that would have came out back when Wizard 101 did. I guess I expected more, even for the low price point in today's age.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is such a cute and relaxing little game. I embarked on the task of cleaning the world and the game just kept me coming back. I just had to clean more and then more and then some. The end was way too soon. I did come across just one lesser malfunction with the cleaning bots and it seemed to have som issues targeting items, which made me to do it manually anyways. But for me that was a lesser problem. Took me about 7 hours to finish and I enjoyed every minute of it. Gonna give it 8 out…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a lovely little cleaning game, perfect to do instead of irl cleaning. There's not too much to it but just enough to feel like you've done something. It's a little janky and a little simple, but I had a really nice time. I've even replayed a couple levels. But definitely wait for a sale!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this game for the first time at my friend’s place and I liked it so much that I decided to buy it myself. From the very beginning, Fresh Start felt relaxing and satisfying. The game has a beautiful art style, calm music, and a very positive message about cleaning and restoring nature. The gameplay is simple but addictive: you clean polluted areas, collect trash, help animals, and slowly bring life back to each environment. Seeing the world change from dirty and lifeless to colorful…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of those "I really wanted to like this game" instances, but I found it to be inconsistent and lacking. Inconsistent on whether or not animal models had a physical mesh, a few instances of fences not having a mesh, petting some animals but not others, one map not having an achievement at all despite the rest having one, a tinny echo sound effect when near rocks that sounded more like smacking an empty plastic bottle than anything else, and a bad watering robot. Man, that watering…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I absolutely LOVED this game, However I had so many issues with it, it took me 3 times longer to complete. Persistent saving and crashing. But I don't believe it was the game having issues It may have been my PC having a fit or my OS (Linux). 100% give this a go if you're looking for something to fill your arvo or play while you watch a movie... This game was relaxing (ignoring the issues) and rewarding. Saving the animals, restoring the nature in the area was very rewarding. Oh and the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Powerwasher Simulator-esque, but a satisfying progression of cleanup with the nature stages. Bit imbalanced in the upgrade category: a lot of them feel useless, or unobtainable without drastic replay - which there is no real reason to do. Great relaxing game to snag on sale, but only hits around 9 hours of gameplay if you're thorough with the achievements in one swoop.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →stuck on third map because finished the hang glider theb ran out of water and couldnt move around. went back to map and tried to go back in to the room and it reset everything. no unstuck button poorly optimised game with horrible mechanics

unlabelledView post →The game itself has a cool concept, but the progression is slow and the tasks become repetitive. The upgrades are rough. There's 3 categories of things you can upgrade, 9 times in each category. (27 total) After completing half the countries and 3 hours of consecutive game play, I've only really been able to upgrade 6 times (in different categories) Not to mention, the upgrades don't actually do much so you don't get that feeling of "I'm glad I saved up for this!" I don't think there's much…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Eh, its ok. Pretty jank and the pace that you unlock upgrades is way too slow. Frustratingly repetitive in a genre where the repetition is supposed to be a pleasant distraction. The animals are cute though, and the before and afters are pretty satisfying.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →low effort jank
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cats with hats (and you can pet them all) 10/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game can easily break and become unplayable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's very similar vibes to Grow: Song of the Evertree, but more simple and straight to the point. For that reason I enjoyed it a lot. if you enjoy simple task games that keep you busy while you listen to netflix or youtube, this is great. <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good game for when you want to dissociate by mindlessly aiming a hose at identical heaps of garbage for hours on end
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →unfortunately very tedious
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had more fun playing cookie clicker
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple and relaxing game, ideal with an audiobook or something. Ran well on Steam Deck, idk why it says 'unsupported'. The achievements are a bit buggy. The perfectionist and pet pal ones didn't trigger for me, though I'm sure I got 100% on all levels and petted all available animals.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are interested in this game look at No Place Like Home instead. Only bought the game because it was on sale at less then 2 euro. I'm honestly not sure if its even worth that. I forgot to shut the game down for a bit and I'm still only at 10 hours and have already completed this game and left feeling like I wasted my time. Also, this game is alarmingly simular to No Place Like Home but definitely the temo alpha version. There is no story at all and nothing really interesting about it…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you enjoy cleaning games and nature, buy this game. It is well-made and cute and fun and satisfying. I thoroughly enjoyed every second of playing this game! The best part is that you can just continue and replay whatever level you want.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →cute little game if you enjoy cleaning simulators. The mechanics never really change so it could get a little dull, and the upgrades to streamline the water and vacuum can be a little inconsistent in how they perform. But overall it's chill, cute, and you get to clean up the planet. I got it on sale for $2.50 and I think it was definitely worth that. There's not really any reason to replay it, so it's a little content thin (I got all achievement in 8 hours of VERY casual gameplay, could…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was an enjoyable brain-off, clean that thing type of game. The levels were different enough and interesting, and I felt it was paced well.
