60 of 186 · most liked firstA new low in providing support for linux game: When players complain about glitchy fullscreen, push out update that forces all linux users to play in window-mode. I felt a similar, general disrespect while playing the game. This interface had been designed for touchscreens, but offered little indication how to use it with mouse and keyboard. Puzzles were obtuse, with little satisfaction for finding the solution. When I clickable hotspot was finally found, there was no way to interrupt the…

Although the playtime is short, the game features intriguing and unique puzzles. The charming pixel art contrasts sharply with the unexpectedly raw and intense content, leaving a lasting impression. 옷장에서 거미가 나타나 작은 테디베어를 훔쳐가 버렸어요!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun, but short Point & Click game, where u play as a little girl who's trying to find her Teddy, after it was stollen in the middle of the night by a spider that came from her closet. Graphics & Music are both quite good, although fairly simple. The puzzles aren't difficult at all. Mainly common sense & remember directions to return to where u were upto. It's not hard to get all of the achevo's, maybe in 2hrs, & the install size is very small, under 100mb's.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finding Teddy is a short-lived graphic adventure. Despite this, I enjoyed it.7/10

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ultimately a bit of an unsatisfying game. I gave up and started using a guide the moment the game expected me to match musical notes by ear against a note-to-alphabet cipher, and I did 8+ years of band in school + university. I'm someone who is familiar with music, but tone matching is not something I'm good at doing without some effort and people without music experience are typically much worse. Its a pain in the butt at first and becomes more obvious and easy as the game goes on but I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You see, this game is an example of why I wish Steam's rating system allowed another option other than thumbs up/down. On the plus side this game has beautiful visuals, great music, fantastic atmosphere and an ending guaranteed to get you right in the feels. On the down side the puzzles can often be a touch on the unintuitive side. The game plonks you down in the world and gives you next to no prompting as to what your meant to do. There are points in this game that there is no shame at…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definitely worth it every penny you spend on it, it's my favourite indie game I've played this 2020. The artwork, essence, story, animations, its charming playthrough experience has captivated me, just a bit short maybe but anyways. I recommend you absolutely, don't waste your time and start playing it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A rather neat and pretty decently-designed point-and-click adventure. The solutions to puzzles are fairly straightforward, as are the achievements (which can be completed rather reasonably). A relatively short game but this means that you should have time left over to explore the game's new-game-plus features -- including an easier way to find the collectibles and an alternative ending clued in by one of the NPCs. The story is very atmospheric, with some horror elements, but challenges the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not my cup of tea. It's not a bad game, the graphics are okay and the idea is kinda cute. But I found it really annoying to walk from screen to screen and back and forth and back again. Even more annoying were the sounds some characters made (major point of the game and riddles but sounded simply awful to me). I just finished it to get all achievements (using a guide, and it was a serious chore).
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A giant tarantula creeped out of your nightmares to steal your teddy bear and now you're in the search to retrieve back your beloved cuddle buddy. The plot makes about just as much sense as most of the puzzles. I cannot question the artistical capabilites of the developer, as the game has a consistently pretty artwork and consistently creepy atmosphere, but apart from that, there is nothing left in Finding Terry. The choice of a point & click was in my opinion a grave mistake; if this would…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finding Teddy is a point and click adventure game where you play as a little girl who has to rescue her beloved teddy bear from a monster. To do so, she has to travel through a mysterious forest world and help its inhabitants. I really struggled with the puzzles here, particularly the music puzzles. I didn't understand what they were going for until I looked it up. The first notes you get didn't look like letters to me until I read about it in a guide The rest of the puzzles made somewhat…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finding Teddy left such an impression on me that, even after 10 years, I still remember it vividly. I first played it on my phone, and its beautiful pixel art and hauntingly atmospheric music drew me in right away. The game has this quiet, magical charm that sticks with me even after all these years. It's a short experience but filled with creative puzzles and a unique musical mechanic that I found truly memorable. It may not be a long game, but its impact lasts far beyond its playtime.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game good story great for everyone to play
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →not into point and click but loving this. artstyle is gorgeous, sounds and ost are great, gameplay is fluid and my mouse feels "soft and chill".
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute little indie game with a gorgeous art style and really nice sound assets. The puzzles can be maddeningly obtuse and difficult. There's no shame in using a guide on this one. The game is certainly worth the price if it's on sale.

But what physical wall can keep those smooth talking mexicans from invading our sleeping dreams? Finding Teddy asks you these difficult questions -- and more. I play video games to avoid reality. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It LOOKS really good, but it's ruined by having that old problem a lot of point and click games have where some of the puzzles are just too contrived to reasonably do without a guide.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →in terms of copies available, mine are probably gonna be some zx spectrum or dragon 32 games nobody's ever heard of; but in terms of games people wanna to buy my top 3 gotta be: SHMUP Collection, Finding Teddy II (joint final Wii U games worldwide), and The Lion King (last NES game worldwide)

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Replacing the game description at the top-right of the store page with a promotion for the sequel is dirty and stupid. Devs should not be allowed to do this if they are still selling earlier games in a series, or games not related to the current one they are using the description to promote. That's what the news and updates section further down on the page is for. Shame on you Storybird and LookAtMyGame and Plug In Digital. You're part of the problem of the perception that indie games are going…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While I am usually a fan of games like Finding Teddy, this little retro-adventure-fairytale didn't manage to grip me at all. The puzzles are partially highly unintuitive, the interface is abominable, the soundtrack is meh, the story is nonexistent and I really feel like I wasted several hours of my life playing through this twice.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very atmospheric and just generally interesting point and click. Not much in the way of puzzles, but the world of the game is so weird that it hardly matters. It's an experience that won't leave you anytime soon. Also, there's a lot of vore. There are so many ways to get vore'd.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an adorable point and click with a female protagonist. The art is simplistic and fantastic. A little girl goes out into the wilderness (of her closet. lol) to retrieve her beloved Teddy. The puzzles are sometimes difficult, but not frustrating by any means. (Aaaand it has it achievements!!) It is a shorter game, so it is easy to get into. I highly recommend adding this delightful litte treasure to your Steam library!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I received this as part of a bundle, and I didn't really know what the game was. I loaded it up blindly and...I'm glad I did. The environments are beautiful, when I did more research and found out they were made pixel by pixel, I realised just how much effort had gone into this. The music along with the visuals, just made this game feel completely mellow. Even when accompanied with puzzles and gruesome death scenes (She's a little girl!) it still kept this whole relaxed, tranquil atmosphere.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Puzzle game with nice pixel graphics. Sadly near the mid of the game (which I reached in less than 1 hour) the puzzles are not based on logic anymore but you have to click on stuff or combine things in ways that are not clear or explained. The "puzzle" that got me to quit was where you have to combine a fly companion with a cat companion so that the fly can move the cat up to a ledge. Apart from the fact that this makes no sense, it was also not clear to me that you can even combine…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice looking game, with an annoying sound design. Since I am a musical analphabet I can't make out the right sounds for the musical puzzles. I really struggle in distinguishing musical notes, so this game is sadly not for me. I would give it a neutral rating if I could, but since I can't, I don't recommend this game. My rating 5/10, not recommended for people that have problems with musical puzzles.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Clearing The List I've got a list to clear, and I've set out on this journey only recently, this game came out when I was in my 3rd year of college, I remember shifting my Major in college at that point, to the medical field. I was big into Creepy pastas, and Indie games. And that's where this game comes in. It looked like (And actually plays like) Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures. Which I loved. And I'll tell you what, this game had the potential to be that good. The only problem, and it's a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really liked playing the game… mostly. The content of the game was generally appealing, but clearly too short for the regular price. For the first run I needed about three hours. The remaining time of (unnecessarily) one and a half hours I spent on achievements. The story is a bit sparse and can be almost entirely summarized by the game title. However, I think the end is well-made. At some points I found it really difficult to get on; that's exactly how a puzzle adventure must be. The variety…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent sound. Very relaxing little retro game. Find music letters and play them to different creatures to find and save your teddy bear.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, I can't say that I liked Finding Teddy. While the pixel art is rather nice, that's the only good thing I can really say about it. This story about a little girl rescuing her teddy bear in a fantasy world isn't really well developed, the puzzles are kind of mediocre, and the soundtrack is pretty bland. I cannot recommend this game to even the most die hard point and click fans.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Avoid, this is just a crap. Dull, linear, boring and it has nothing original, just a miserable clone of Loom.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Adorable, a little hard at times, but still emotional (traumatizing) and cute. It's also too short for my tastes. Just wish it was a bit longer. Would save teddy again from creepy-crawlies, robots, and murder hornets so I can get sum sleep. P.S. Artwork and animations are just so damn refreshing and alive. P.P.S. So, like, where's the sequel? It said, "To Be Continued" at the end there...or am I wrong? And yes, I am aware of a game that was originally called "Finding Teddy 2" now re-named…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not a bad game per se. However, the description should state it is a musical adventure, that doesn't (here is an important part) follow common music notation. So while it is nice and ok, it is not that great an experience because of the music puzzles. No, it doesn't hold your hand. But that doesn't mean it should not be more accessible. Perhaps I will give it a try later on. But for now it is a no go. If you like games like this it might be for you. My advice is to try it out for a the to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finding Teddy has really nice pixel graphics and very good music. It has an interesting story about a lost Teddy bear and a little girls quest to find it. The puzzles are good and the mouse controls function quite well. Definitely a must have for point-n-click fans! Recommended
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finding Teddy is a point and click. Characters don't talk except through symbols representing letters. Those same symbols will be used to solve "puzzles". I liked the art style. The rest, not so much. Not much to say, just a standard point and click and that's it. Wouldn't recommend due to just being boring. You can't examine items, which makes sense as your character would have nothing to say. As such for me the charm ended where it started, the art style.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This little short game stole my heart. First of all, the pixel graphic is just perfect. The amount of work and love the graphics desiner put into this game is incredible. Backgrounds are detailed and enjoyable while characters are very likable. Colors are splendidly chosen for locations. Secondly the story. A monster takes a teddy bear from a sleeping girl and the girl wants to take her plushie back. She gets into a wardrobe and appears in a strange world where she meets strange creatures…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't like it because I can't manage to play it in a way that's engaging. Maybe someone can, and maybe you can learn to, but the point is that the game doesn't even attempt to teach you and that's aweful design. At it's core it 26 musical notes lacking sufficient differentiation for my musically illiterate ears to parse as anything other than noise and where the noises themselves are unpleasant.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Came here from Finding Teddy 2 in hopes of a new MV game. Sadly the games are not related to each other. This game is beautiful. It does have a few problems with the underutilization of the game's mechanics, but it's a very short experience worth the $7. It's not hard to 100% the game especially after you beat it. The description isn't accurate about how much there is to do. I recall about 6-8 tasks in each act, and maybe 2 sidequests throughout the entire game,
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finding Teddy is a charming game with unique atmosphere and beautiful graphics. The puzzle-solving system is fun to use, and it all ties together in the end. It may take a bit of wandering to solve the puzzles, but the world is a place you aren't going to mind wandering through. Relaxing, cute, and gorgeous. I don't think it's "this is my favorite game of all time!" material, but it will join a fond place in your memories.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is hard to categorize/rate. On one hand it is very pretty, sounds good, does its job fine, has a nice little message, it is short and sweet and it kind of clever for such a small development time. On the other hand it is kind of unforgiving for anyone without any musical knowledge. But even if it kept the visual aid the whole time, it still kind of falls on the trope of trying everything with everything else that most point and click games have; and it becomes kind of impossible…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute game, easily finished in about 2hrs (with two playthroughs for all achievements). Recommend getting it on sale though because a quick 1-2hr game is probably worth a couple bucks. Initially the musical game mechanic was almost a rage-quit for me (I'm not great at matching tones - especially when there are 24 of them) - but once you realise it is actually a musical version of the alphabet it's all good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →(7/10) Cute little point and click adventure game. Art is very pixely old-school and the music is darkly chippy and enjoyable. There are a couple of pretty strong/interesting ideas here when it comes to solving the puzzles and learning as a player how to interact with the various creatures in the world. Not the longest game around but it doesn't need to be, file it under short and sweet.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I expected boring ass game. I got masterpiece! This game was really great, I enjoyed every part of it. Puzzles were solid, you just need to remember few notes here and there. The story was really great, even the fail parts when you get killed, it just looks funny. You will enjoy this game if you just give it a chance. Get it. Believe me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This one is a complete abortion - it's an iOS game ported to PC and then flogged on Steam by some very entitled feeling hipsters who feel they deserve some money from PC gamers for performing ablutions on the gaming industry. Gameplay - ported from iOS, it has a terrible UI, barely playable on PC, designer for hipsters, not humans. At best, it's reminiscient of games that did very badly on the C64, but with worse gameplay. Graphics - Developer didn't bother, why should I? Oh yes, because…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finding Teddy is a quietly enchanting point-and-click adventure that stands apart through its restraint, atmosphere, and confidence in nonverbal storytelling. Developed by Storybird and published by LookAtMyGame with Plug In Digital, the game invites players into a dreamlike world where meaning is conveyed through imagery, sound, and interaction rather than dialogue or text. Its premise is simple and emotionally grounded: a young girl ventures beyond her bedroom and into a strange realm to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, this game reminded me of old point-and-click adventures (for better or worse). Pick up random stuff, use the random stuff to open paths or get more random stuff, and die randomly to everything the first time you encounter them, Some of these puzzles(?) take leaps of logic and are a little non-intuitive, of course. Aside from that, the main puzzle element is through interpreting tones that are made throughout - eventually you'll figure out what they mean (probably - if you have the…

I don't know how many people will see this; but I recommend to you to play this game if you do see it. Gameplay, atmosphere, graphics. everything is masterfully crafted. If you read it, thank you and good bye.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is very cute with some hilarious scenes as well, all wrapped in a shiny pixel art graphic. Good the idea of no dialogues, just riddles, even if it turns at your back when not figuring out what an object actually is due to no captions as well. Still, sometimes it's harder to understand what I can actually do in term of game mechanics than solving the riddles themselves: this causes at times to get stuck with the need of a guide.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A cute little game with an odd but neat story. It took me way too long to figure out the music notes (and that it was the alphabet in it's proper order). I liked the cute secondary ending screen you can get when you beat the game for the second time. The music was decent and I loved the graphics. My only issue is that when you do New Game+ and add in the visual extras, whenever you do an action in the game, it'll go to what she looks like when you first play the game (black and white and…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A point and click adventure too frustrating for me: - There's nothing when you hover your mouse over the object and sometimes when you click it with the wrong item it also does nothing. You never know if there is something to do there or not so you need to guess and get it because of luck. - You have animals to help you and sometimes you need to use two at the same time but the games never shows that you can use both simultaneously. Again it's pure luck that you realize this. - The musical…
