unlabelledView post →Finding Dory: A wonderful follow up to the original that’s as heartwarming and hilarious as that film while also having a story that can resonate with those who are on the spectrum (like me) or disabled and quirky new characters to boot. (9/10)
unlabelledView post →Yep watching this. Tonight's film Finding Dory. A fun family film #filmsky #findingdory #animation
unlabelledView post →Tonight's movie is Finding Dory (2016) 🍿
unlabelledView post →Andrew Stanton himself even explained after Finding Dory got a PG that it wasn't any more intense than the first movie (if anything, Dory is less intense than Finding Nemo). The ratings board has just gotten harsher on them. There are a few risque jokes in Toy Story 1 that would get it PG today.
unlabelledView post →While I personally wouldn't rank "Finding Dory" as one of my favorites, I can't help but appreciate this sequel not only for fleshing out Dory's character but also for having probably some of the best disability rep I've seen in a feature film.
unlabelledView post →One decision I think Andrew Stanton made which was smart was to discard the whole flashback approach to the backstory of Marlin and just show at the beginning of the film which helps the audience fully understand him. Luckily, the flashback idea would work much better for the sequel Finding Dory.
unlabelledView post →Cabin In The Woods. And Ghostbusters I & II. And every Sigourney Weaver movie including Finding Dory and Wall-E.
unlabelledView post →It was so fun watching Finding Dory at the aquarium last night in a screening we did for staff, friends and family. I loved it when it came out and now that I work at the aquarium that so much of the movie was based on, and got to watch it here, made it so special. There are corridors in some scenes and some exhibits and even shapes of tanks that I now know very well. #FindingDory #MontereyBayAquarium
unlabelledView post →Parents think the mere of existence of Buddy was as bad as the Sausage Party trailer playing before Finding Dory in 2016 when they’re just too lazy to do any research on the movie they’re watching.
unlabelledView post →Oh oh, another one. I had someone tell me I was joyless because I didn't really care for Finding Nemo, mostly because I wanted to slap Marlin most of the movie. (For the record, I LOVED Finding Dory)
unlabelledView post →It says a lot that Disney effectively tossed this aside in favor of hyping up Alice Through the Looking Glass and Finding Dory that summer; even in 2016 they no longer understood the idea of a children’s film that wasn’t going to spin off a franchise.
unlabelledView post →I do not think I have mentioned this, but among the Pixar films that I have seen the most throughout my life aside from Cars and WALL-E, Finding Nemo is a film that I have been obsessed with. Back in 2016, I also have seen Finding Dory in cinemas and I loved it as the first film.
unlabelledView post →I both love and hate the fact that in Finding Nemo, Marlin and Dory’s journey spans from the Great Barrier Reef to Sydney and is the focus of the movie. Then in Finding Dory, they quickly go from Australia to California like it’s nothing. Y’know, CROSSING THE PACIFIC FUCKING OCEAN!?
unlabelledView post →Finding Dory is such a strange movie, because "escape artist octopus wants to get out of an aquarium" is such a classic slam-dunk Pixar premise, and for some reason they hid it in the B-plot of a Finding Nemo sequel
unlabelledView post →But either way, time for a little crazy fact about Finding Dory during its initial release. Since this is an animated film, theaters of course, put most of the trailer for upcoming films that is, well, animated. But there’s one trailer that’s animated…but not for kids and it’s rated-R.

unlabelledView post →I thought the Piper short film before Finding Dory was great. This bird takes it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIPV...
unlabelledView post →Yet another spinoff film with a animated comedy relief side character? This barely even worked with Disney's Finding Dory, but at least Dory had her memory loss as an emotional tactic, Donkey quite literally has nothing like that to really support this existing really.
unlabelledView post →150. Finding Dory While not as good as Finding Nemo, the film is as good as I think it could've been being a sequel to the first. It adds more layers to the character of Dory, expands on character dynamics, introduces some really fun new characters, and once again Newman's musical score is gorgeous
unlabelledView post →Two nights ago I watched “Finding Nemo,” and last night it was “Finding Dory.” So I decided to go back to where it all started. Great story, but — WOW! — does the animation, especially the humans, look clunky now! Still, recommended. ★★★☆☆ Film Cinema 📽️ FilmSky

unlabelledView post →what hurt the 2nd film was undoubtedly rushing it through production so they could have a blockbuster while Finding Dory was trailing behind. There were so many underbaked ideas, and only some of them were seizure inducing.

unlabelledView post →What's really funny is that I watched Finding Dory yesterday and had forgotten that this is a major plot point in that movie.
unlabelledView post →And Finding Dory was an example of how a film with a character with a similar role can be done right, especially as Dory isn't a one-note character.

The 2016 film is technically my first Kate McKinnon movie (she had a minor role in Finding Dory, which I saw in theaters the exact same year, but Ghostbusters had more of her). I loved Kate McKinnon as Holtzmann. I also have the first two Ghostbusters films on DVD.
unlabelledView post →Finding Dory (rewatch): 6/10 Kind of retreads themes and concepts from the first movie, but at least feels clever about using some of its intentional parallels and has some satisfying emotional payoff. Of course the guy named Hank carries.
unlabelledView post →"Finding Dory" is a cute Pixar film, if one of the slighter entries in their catalog; I never thought the "Dory" character was going to become the literal intellectual scaffolding for how the commodities market evaluate the world around us. 😩
unlabelledView post →If you seen the film you know exactly what I'm talking about. If you thought the ending of Finding Dory was unrealistic and outlandish, then your hate this films 3rd act because Jesus Christ lol. I thought it was crazy, but cool.😭😭😭
unlabelledView post →Finding Dory isn't a Finding Nemo sequel. The real sequel should have been set after the tank gang freed themselves Finding Dory is entirely another film, with lower quality storyplot & characters than its predecessor. It feels forced and doesn't have the same emotional weight than Finding Nemo had.

unlabelledView post →I just realized, this is the 1st film Pixar has made without a villain of any variety (no the Dragon Mascot doesn't count) since Finding Dory. And even if I like some of the movies b/w then and now, that may be a sign of Pixar's strengths in their writing department. Also, at the tavern, can the...

Also, unlike Finding Dory, this film ALSO had controversy for using the word "crap"...worth more of a care than 2 women on screen, but still not much of anything. It's a PG film!
