Tough to review this one as there's 95% of a great game here but the developers are no longer providing support. Basically they dropped the early access label and declared it complete despite it clearly needing work. Here's some examples that need fixing: The last update was Halloween so there's a number of Halloween reskin UI items and an event with a "Halloween buff" that doesn't seem to exist and the "?" next to doesn't provide a tool tip. The build number on the main menu is a…

Fun game for a while, but development seems to be completely finished (dead) while there is WIP art in the game and various bugs. Game needed post release support but was abandoned.

I enjoyed the first 40 hours, so for most games that is good enough. But I liked this game so much I wanted to get all the achievements. Turns out that's literally impossible. The achievement to last 250 nights in infinity mode cannot be accomplished because of stack overflow errors. Boss HP's exceed the 32 bit signed integer value (roughly 2.1 billion) and then the game basically stops working. Things glitch out, the boss won't even spawn, your action points disappear. It's a mess. I cannot…

This should still be in early access, big dawg. It's 90% of the way there, but that 10% is not coming and it's a pretty crucial 10%. Stuff that's missing: Bugfixes (my first issue was ten minutes in when I allocated fame from my living room and it just disappeared... for ten nights before randomly applying itself) Tooltips (they're there on some stuff, but missing from a lot of other stuff, and this is a game that kinda requires you to know how stuff works) UI (buttons you press inside a…

What is this... I thought as I booted up the game. The sound effects were so loud I got annoyed and just quit. What is this... I thought as I started the game for a second time a few days later. This is so weird. I am not sure I like this... That session lasted over 6 hours and I was absolutely drained (hah) at the end of it... wow... This game is like a drug for me... I absolutely adore this game. So why a negative review? 0) It's finished. Devs say so. It may be finished but it is not…

Concise Game Reviews: "Few Nights More" (Scroll down for the longer version) Game Value: ✅ Highly recommended for fans of roguelike strategy, turn-based combat, and kingdom management. "Few Nights More" invites players to step into the role of a vampire lord, reclaiming their rightful place in a dark, atmospheric world. Apparently the game was abandoned, The current build appears to be the Early Access build from October . There was no release day patch. The developers seemingly just changed the Steam page and moved on. They have yet to address these issues. I still like the game and have certainly gotten my $7.50 worth of enjoyment out of it, but I would think 2 or 3 times before purchasing anything by Aetema Ludi or GrabTheGanes in the future. This kind of behavior should not be rewarded. If one of the…

It's a fine enough game I guess. There are a lot of weird design choices, though. Infinite Mode is really kind of meaningless, since it is just a series of battles - anything involving the different house mechanics (eg., minions, rooms, ranks) end up doing nothing. I'd recommend it, but I just ran into an enemy with more than 1 billion HP who was the only enemy fully immune to my build (literally is completely immune to Decay, the main mechanic of necromancer). I'm not really that happy…

Not a bad game, but definitely missing... elements? In the brief time I played I tried all three schools with three different characters and necromancy obviously outshines both of the others by a large margin. It has a lot of fun qualities, but it's also not exactly anything special yet. If you have money to throw around, try it and end up enjoying it, awesome. I feel though for the price it's not quite enough fun to justify.

having beaten the game for the first time, I do not really know what to think about it. at first, it looked like a great game, but the more I play the less I feel like there really is. it could be because I picked the "Dark" faction which seems to be playing very differently from other factions (not having proper AP or skill assignments but rather drawing random skills and keeping 2 types of AP from every turn amongst other things) but in general, it is just...it is basically an early access…

Great concept, horribly buggy and the general state it is in does NOT reflect the fact it's a full release. This feels like a hodgepodge EA-state of a game with a lot of growing pains that should not have survived beta. It runs badly at times, there are really weird technical bugs that reflect the makeshift nature behind a fairly good veneer of a game and the latest patch still has halloween decoration in it, while the release was end of january. Add to that, that they release two games…

I can't recommend this game. It feels very unfinished. Like every single idea was started and never finished. They just kept picking up and moving to the next thing. Nothing works quite right and there are still game breaking glitches. Despite what the devs believe this is still very much an early access game. There is some fun ideas. But there is more standard industry slog then anything else. It isn't a tactical Rougelike. That is a lie. It is a Casino Rougelite. Basically Auto-Pets with…

Good roguelike with plenty of tactical depth, customisation, and variety of playable characters. Well worth its asking price and I'm bemused by the mixed ratings. It's an interesting hybrid of management, defence, and almost deck builder skill usage and optimisation.

This game was able to entertain interesting mechanics and allowed you to really think up some interesting builds. I feel like if this game was appropriately optimized, it would be an insanely good rogue like, but unfortunately it fails to be honest with its own numbers. I have sunk around 43 hours into this game and just because of how it calculates its #'s, I can't 100% it without spending 45~ minutes a night for about 100 more nights. First Impressions Underdeveloped with zero life quality features, interface bugs and overall lack of design direction. Devs never listened to comunity. Game requires heavy grind for faction you chose and majority of factions have stupidly OP bonuses at some point, like get hit and gain permanent +10 lifesteal, so each turn you lifesteal more and more. But first grind for 20 hours to get there! Animation is crude, traps and minions make no sense. Heck, they did whole mechanic of moving around…

I honestly can't recommend it enough. I played for twelve and a half hour straight after buying it, game's addicting as hell. Each of the vampire clans are different enough that playing around their strategies is refreshing each play-through, couple that with the combat disciplines themselves and it's a blast. Playing around with the different synergies is quite interesting, enough so to keep coming back and wanting to try something new, just to see if you'll go that little bit further in your…

I really like this game (just look at the amount of hours played) and overall I would recommend it, especially for the price they ask for it. The good: Because of the different disciplines, the different vampire clans and the numerous random generated aspects, no run will ever be the same. Which I personally love. For every run you're awarded points that you can spend to strengthen the disciplines or buy general bonusses. Beside this each character will gain experience, which will grant unique…

Few Nights More - ★✮☆☆☆ Full review available on the [url=https://www.indieloupe.com/reviews/few-nights-more]IndieLoupe website. Review dated 04/02/2025. My first impressions upon opening Few Nights More were not great. Despite being “released” - and I use the term loosely - this week, the game’s title screen welcomes new players with a Hallowe’en-themed skin, seemingly a three-month-old hangover from its time in early access. Arrives back 30 mins later and I haven't moved. 10/10 most addictive game ever This review is at patch 0.5 at time of writing and it's extremely well made, plenty of content and I've only encountered a single bug which was very minor. Very promising and fun game! Few areas in need of polish! 1. Descriptions of skills are sometimes misleading and vague, they require clarity pertaining to mechanics. 2. Game desperately needs a log that shows dmg calculations and which can be hidden/shown. This is a must! 3. As things stand now the normal game mode is way too easy! 4.Finally the game could use more depth/variety in builds! For instance Slay the spire has wayyyyy more build variety within each discipline. a lot of love for this game. my main problem with it is how it handles big numbers. I figured I'd knock out the "reach night 250 in endless" achievement. it took a long time, but I did reach night 190 or so, when all my damage disappeared. I was running a necromancer using gather decay to give my minions ridiculous stats, and after one overflowed, it couldn't do damage. this happened a couple of times, but I killed them with sacrifice to restart another stack of stats. the last time I did it, I…

Addicting. What do you mean playing as a Vampire Overlord building your own castle and defending it against waves of invading humans is fun? Such a good game (if you are into Vampires and Turn based combat that is). Edit: This is one of my most favourite games of all time. It has so much potential!!! And even if that potential never gets realized, I am still so happy that this game exists. I needed this in my life.

It's quite clunky at the time of the review. The artistic direction is questionable. It's technically very bad. It has some features which are poorly exploited. It has significant layers of RNG. But, it's probably one of the roguelike I enjoy the most since Hades, and I do play quite a lot of them. The meta progression, especially, is extremely deep an satisfying. I recommend trying the demo and giving it a solid 5 runs in order to see what the game has to offer.

A neat spin on Slay the Spire esque gameplay, combining elements of classic dungeon builders seen in old flash games. Which is cool! Though admittedly, the dungeon building part of the game feels very underbaked and trivial, almost to the point where I question if the game would be much different if it didn't have it. The vampire flavor is strong, and you do feel properly powerful as a vampire lord should. Plenty of post-run growth leaves little to be desired, but there's not much content…

I enjoy this game quite a bit. Unfortunately it's a slow, unoptimized, imbalanced, buggy mess and shouldn't be released yet. Honestly listing everything would take much too long so just 3 examples. -The core mechanics don't work. (pretty bad for a cardgame) -The music stops after a few cycles. -Everything is hard to read (text, buff icons etc.) Much fixing to do. Paint me surprised in case it happens.

Recommended to get on sale, under $10. While pretty fun and engaging if you're a fan of the genre - building up your castle is always enjoyable - the game feels unfinished and unpolished. It's certainly playable, but the UI is often unclear, the gameplay modes are limited, and the enemy pool is quite small. The options are also lacking, with little accessibility or customization. The devs have stated they have no plans for further content, so don't expect major changes.

This game tries to do a lot of things at once, but does none of them well. As base management game, it lacks dynamic freedom, as the maps are pretty much static. As a turn-based tactics battler, the combat is rather monotonous, lengthy and lacks variety. The game has a good starting vibe to it and a home-style aesthetic that could be charming, the actual game play loop is not at all close enough to what the asking price for the game is. I also have to note that your play time will be very carefully padded out in a way that two proper runs will probably take you over the 2 hour mark. I've attempted to give the game a go despite my hesitations, but wish I had waited to see how serious the commitment was to the project. The updates have died off…

An interesting rouge-like with much potential. Probably the most powerful endorsement is that it gives the "just one more turn/run" feeling. The tags and the store page give you a pretty good sense of what the game is about: you are a vampire defending their mansion from pesky human hunters. Every turn has two phases: manage your base/mansion/character and combat. Both phases have you plenty to do and there is enough randomization to keep every run interesting. However, the game needs quite…

Overall the game is bland but inoffensive for a roguelike, but based on the fact the game is in full release and still has the 'early access' message at the end of the run, I assume that it is functionally abandoned by the developers. It kills all block and pierces straight through all armour despite saying it is magic damage. If you get a decent run going you are eventually going to lose it because the monster HP grow beyond your ability to kill in one turn, and the distortion is doing more damage then you can heal back.

I like this game, i don't know what exactly is it , but is just interesting to try different builds and stuff. Hope they add new characters and skills to it.

Cannot describe enough how great it is, don’t let the videos fool you, the music ,the combat ,the infinite combos and passives all fueling unlocks for more power - and it still isn’t enough to keep you from loosing lol so the challenge persists,it’s amazing ,played 10 hours straight after starting - expecting trash. Amazing game ,still new content to come, but now and start leveling so you can enjoy the new class sooner with the points you earn :) well done devs

Fun game, short runs. Has a boardgame-esque feel to it not quite like anything else I've played. *Edit:* Sadly very much abandoned mid development, which is a great shame. Still worth playing in its current state though.

Fun base defense game, using a turn based style, where you play one of several vampires defending against the filthy forces of light. It's quite fun, you choose a clan, castle and magic type and then have a building phase where you upgrade and prepare your castle and then the combat phase where you defend against parties of heroes that attack. Combat is similar to darkest dungeon, with a few differences, such as how your abilities recharge and are used. It's a small team making the game so…

I have been looking for a more in depth RPG type of roguelite and this game delivers. The devs explored a unique gameplay merging turn-based roguelike with actual base-building. The invasion screen could use some polishing however the character progression both in and outside the game feels very satisfactory, i did feel like i was getting stronger the more i played.

Needs major bug fixes including but not limited to: -UI -UI glitches -Background -Background glitches -Cooldown glitches Fun but it worked without glitching out for the first round now it looks broken. If the Creators don't want to be known as hacks they need to fix their game.
