The Nazi threat is to be neutralized and the player endeavors to rescue some NPC characters, The game offers a wide range of weapons and others can be picked up as the campaign proceeds. Ammo crates automatically reload weapons. The multiplayer mode depends on somebody hosting the game, The game is switchable between DX9 or DX11 shaders and there are lots of options to tweak the graphics. Dell 3480 with Arc Xe graphics and RTX A500 discrete graphics.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Enemy Front – A Cheap, Old-School WWII FPS (For Better and Worse) I went into Enemy Front specifically looking for cheap, old-school WWII FPS games, and that’s exactly what I got. This isn’t a modern, polished shooter, as it’s very much a product of its time and budget and while it has a long list of problems, it did manage to entertain me for a few hours. You play as Robert Hawkins, an American journalist who somehow ends up taking up arms in search of a story resulting in him…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If only such a game had arrived 4-5 years earlier from a developer with a bigger budget, it would be one of the best WW2 shooters, but... The setting is the greatest thing here, hands down - the Warsaw Uprising, a page of WW2 history that the gaming industry has sadly overlooked. The graphics are also really good, even by today's standards. The biggest problem with this game is that it's half-cooked. It's evident in its short campaign (only 7h), clunky stealth, and weird paсing. What can I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really don't like the game, but If you buy it for 2 Euro it's fine. Only buy at that price! PS: (ignoring everything else that is wrong) What the actual f*ck did they do to the Kar 98?!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not completely terrible, but definitely a below average WW2 shooter. Game is very easy overall. Enemies are really dumb, won't even attempt to chase you or hide, and can barely aim unless they stand next to you at highest difficulty. However, the game has absolutely horrendous checkpoint system, where it will send you very far back if you actually die, or lose an objective. Like there's a tank. No explanation how to deal with it. Try something and you die? Oh you need to replay last 5 minutes…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really don't recommend this game. The feeling overall is that of a prototype- it needs a balance pass, there's numerous bugs (some minor, like enemy pathing issues; some major, like softlocks), unexplained or poorly implemented mechanics, and insufficient breadcrumbing/reminders for quest objectives. To its credit, it does try some bold things, especially for a WWII shooter in 2014; the map design is also a strong point. Missions and Level Design + Levels are large and fun to explore,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is what Battlefield V should've been, even having a way better version of that heavy water mission that dice messed up. It's a call of duty clone in ww2 with exceptional graphics and very good sound design on the cry engine. If you're like me and had a few bucks and are sick and tired of call of duty and current gaming's antics where it's a race to the bottom and full of blurry colorful garbage filled with anime and weird sexual DLC content straight out of a 12 year old's search history…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very basic story The quality even for the cry engine looks weirdly bad in some areas Gameplay feels stiff and Stealth is broken Game randomy crashes Multiplayer is dead soo its not worth buying the dlc And the game Its not worth the full price
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was an okay game. I played for the campaign which took me 8 hours to beat. The final level was very glitchy and the dlc glitched the entire time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is criminally underrated - hands down one of the most enjoyable WW2 shooters I have ever played. If you see it on sale, buy it. Superb!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →works great on steam desk, zero settings needed. having fun with it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Confused tourist in Poland who found a gun. Is what the game should have been called, you’re running around the Polish resistance levels like a history lesson with a rifle. And to be fair, for its time those open maps and quieter moments actually work. Then the shooting starts, the ai forgets how war works and the illusion collapses. The guns lack punch and the enemies behave like they’ve never met a human before. Nice idea, cool Polish setting that's why it is a thumb up, have to support the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Enemy Front, developed and published by CI Games, is a World War II first-person shooter that aimed to reintroduce players to the classic atmosphere of the genre while focusing on a rarely depicted setting—the Warsaw Uprising. Released in 2014, the game follows American war correspondent Robert Hawkins, who finds himself drawn into the chaos of occupied Europe, documenting and fighting alongside resistance forces across various countries. Built on the CryEngine 3, Enemy Front was envisioned as…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A pretty bad attempt at both an FPS and a stealth game. Actually, whatever this game is attempting to be, it isn't good at. It throws sniping, CoD like scripted sequences and action and not knowing when it wants to be stealthy or action at the player constantly. While I personally like some of the weapons, anything about them from either their sounds or animations are miserable. Flat out lazy. You can describe the whole game in one word, and that's "Mediocrity". This is the pure definition…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is an absolute SLEEPER. It is fantastic. Boost the visuals right up and it looks great. Shooting feels nice. Awesome maps. Sound is spot on... allround a fab game that is criminality underrated bcoz it's drowned out by many games in the same genre.... however this game Is a quality pick
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Generally, Enemy Front is quite a mediocre FPS from the game developers known for the cheap FPS games way below the usual standards. However, it is based on the CryEngine, therefore it looks good enough, and goes quite fluid. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3426831775 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3427410095

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In childhood i thought it was a very good game. I liked the graphics, shooting mechanics etc. Especially after Call Of Duty 2 and 4 which i played at that time. But years later i realised that under nice cry engine graphics there's the low-mid WW2 shooter, with a lot of stupid enemies, boring shooting and annoying stealth. Just a mid game, not bad and not good either. P.S. I refunded money back in 2021, and i still can write a review on it lol
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →sorry I bought it. playing on a mission for about 1.5 hours or more and get killed you have to start all over. You should be able to have saves closer to where you are in the game not just at the beginning of the mission.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Enemy Front – A Fair, Time-Accurate Look at a CryEngine 3 FPS Important context first: Enemy Front released in 2014 and runs on CryEngine 3, an engine that dates back to 2009. This review judges the game within that historical and technical context — not against modern 2024–2025 FPS standards. CryEngine 3 – Context, Not Expertise I’m not a CryEngine developer, and I won’t pretend to be one. My experience with CryEngine is limited to: Enemy Front Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem Crysis That said,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Enemy Front is a World War II shooter that, while not without its flaws, offers an enjoyable experience for fans of the genre. The game's biggest strengths lie in its open-ended level design and impressive visuals, which create a sense of freedom and immersion that many linear shooters lack. You're given multiple ways to approach objectives, whether you prefer to go in guns blazing or take a stealthy approach. The game's ambition sometimes outstrips its execution, and the final product feels…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was a fine game. its not really re-inventing the wheel but if you are look for another WWII shooter to scratch an itch I recommend it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Enemy Front" is a World War II shooter that wins you over with its vast maps and total freedom of tactical approach. A solid and rewarding action experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Blown away that this is mixed reviews, its very good and unique in its story, gameplay, shooting, everything is actually unique for a ww2 shooter
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A WW 2 shooter in the frame of Crysis's open world. Mid range-ie not polished with many visual bug and crashes. Finished it in like 7 hours
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun old shooter. Well worth sale price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A game that suffered from being released in a time when it would always be eclipsed by larger franchises like COD & BF, playing the campaign in 2025 will bring elation to anybody that is a fan of the genre, touching on a much overlooked part of WW2, the Warsaw uprising. Not without its flaws, but don't let peoples initial reviews at the time of release deter you from playing this hidden gem.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game I would have rather given it a "MEH" it's not worth a "no" but at the full price definitely not worth a "yes" the gameplay is not too bad, controls are a bit stiff, graphics are okay and if you can get it for 50% or more off it's worth a try.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →played this in october which was very fitting ebcause i got jumpscared by the achieved with cryengine logo at start up thank you very much CI games for a asset slop nothing of a game thank you for having a sniper elite kill cam for literally no reason thank you for having the cutscenes be at like 360 p thank you for this being a piece of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worhteless ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ game that sometimes crashes when loading into a level and was a pain to even get to work to begin wtih love how every game put out…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good combination of stealth and heated combat... based on actual events... good graphics and game play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very good and one of the only polish uprising games

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is new game for me. Once I was kid I truly loved first - person shooter like call of duty or Medal of Honor or any games relates to military shooters. That's really impressive games with lots of fun and action. This game one of them. That's why I decided to purchase Enemy Front. It reminds me me about those cool and chill times of my childhood when I played call of duty, Counter-Strike 1.6 with friends, world of tanks. So I really fun of shooter games. So this games is really nice and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Objectively a pretty mediocre game but I have a weird fetish for mid 2000s esque WW2 shooters like CoD WaW and MoH Airborne
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First and foremost, I want to say that this game IS what it looks like: a generic Call of Duty/Sniper Elite inspired WWII shooter. That is what you pay for, and that's what you get. THAT BEING SAID. I enjoyed the campaign of this game a lot, especially the second half. I normally don't write reviews, but since this is a smaller game and I liked it a lot, I thought 'why not?' There will be some SPOILERS ahead. ==Gameplay== For a game released in 2014, it has great gameplay. Guns, of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to give this game a positive review and I planned too until I reached a game breaking bug on the level where you're supposed to take a cable-car.. The cable car doesn't move, your friendly AI is frozen and nothing happens. Obviously something somewhere in the code glitched and I now can't get passed that level. After a quick Google search it seems this has been a problem since like 2014.. on both console and PC and they never fixed it. Shameful. Glad I only paid 2 bucks

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A solid WWII shooter with good atmosphere, fun combat, and some interesting stealth elements. Not perfect, but definitely an enjoyable experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The story in this game is a solid 10 out of 10! It totally swept me away, but everything else is a little… I don’t know how to explain it, butlook: When you die, you respawn almost 15 minutes back at where you came from! Plus, you don’t really see when you’re about to die if you dont take cuffer! But at the End, it really was okay! Total 8/10 stars from me
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought this because of the Ahoy video about Polish guns. I talk to myself while playing games, I was talking about world war 2 shooters being the same thing over and over again and never evolving despite there being so many untapped fronts. I said I wanted to play as the Soviets invading poland because I hate poland and the game crashed so this game clearly has some kind of polak magik in it. I need games to make me feel anything, including misery, this game made me doesn't even make me…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →They censored stuff in Belgium while it should only be censored only in germany
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is awesome game, I could play in my own home town, and in the fact of it being demolished to the extremiest. We get scenes like the one with famus Prudential building form famus photo, building that actualy stood still afther the war. And is now still stending in city centre of Warsaw,as there is sort of side view from Palace of Science build afther the war. And we get to trough molotove, glass bottle with petrol and cloth to burn, we trough it and kill germans runing in peril from that…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →👍 Recommended 🕒 5.8 hours on record 📅 Completed Campaign - 11 July 2026
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simply mid. Looks alright at times, but is incredibly bland and generic. Nothing of value comes from finishing it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →40/100 Huge disappointment. Honestly it's sad to see how the game turned out to be considering that the premise was actually quite interesting and it has a unique approach to ww2 unlike many other games. It focuses on some of the most overlooked ww2 campaign in videogames, and that's actually a good thing. But the game isn't all that pleasing... The gameplay is boring and uninspired, the gunplay didn't feel satisfying and the AI is piss poor. The ost is actually pretty good and the graphics…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the story wasn't to bad the game play was good for the time the game gives me a lot of sniper elite vibes.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game, while dated, still has a very unique take on a WW2 FPS, with the setting being the historically significant backdrop of N@zi-Occupied Eastern Europe. Personally, i would love to see certain bugs patched, but due to the game's age, likely it won't. 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game hails from a pre-Lords of the Fallen and pre-Sniper: Ghost Warrior era of CI Games, when they were much better known as a maker of reasonable quality budget games. And that's what this is: it's a low-budget game that doesn't shoot for the stars, but does hit its targets with reasonable enough accuracy. This game was put together on a low budget, so nothing is going to be the Best, but what is here ranges from Okay to Pretty Good. Nothing will blow your socks off, but everything gets…
