Just a tip - After installing the game on computer, go to the Boldgame-Webpage. There is a patch available for this game. Download and install it before you start your first tour. If you do not do it your computer might freeze up when you try to get your team into the extraction zone. After I installed the patch on my computer I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The gameplay is fun and realistic for a military layman like me. Charaters can die easily if you can't figure out where the enemies are in the super thick forest. Neither you, your teamates or enemies can look far. Enemies can be literaturelly meters away and neither of you are awared. This hide-and-seek-like feeling is what the game attracted me in the first place. Meanwhile, the characters are as fragile as the VCs. A shot in the right part can be fatal, so better aviod close combats…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →honestly this is a lost gem i LOVE the way you set up your units and the fact you have an overworld map to rest and set waypoints its all so great and it runs great to on a modern computer windows 10 to be specific 0 crashes

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is very buggy. I often found that my squad would get stuck at bridges/water crossings/doors/etc. Once they were stuck, They would no longer follow the point man. squad commands went out the window.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hey developers! I do really want to enjoy this game and the first level was simply great but it would not allow me to continue to other levels as it crash. Guys please update and fix this problem. Right now i cannot recommend this to anyone so please don't buy until they truly update it to a playable game. There are no tutorials online on how you can patch this thing up so please have an official update!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Team AI is terrible, but the game is fairly realistic from a historical standpoint. MAC-V SOG teams were absolute legends.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tactical map for overworld long distance travel where you can choose movement speed, rest, and support options. 1st, 3rd, and overhead tactical views when doing character control. One may outfit their squad before mission and can switch between squadmates in mission and thereafter pick up encountered weapons and items. Somewhat similar to ghost recon, men of war, 7.62, and arma. I dislike how reloading discards any amo left in the magazine, as in the early delta force games. It has crashed once…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a nice game. But not classic. Pro: - good terrain. -Very good music and sound. character development. Contra: -A horrible AI. -horrid track structure (route search algorithm) I used to play this game a long time ago, and I'm still with it. "Dude, when my team is hiding in the rain on a river bank and waiting for the Viet Patrol ..." Ez egy kellemes játék. De nem klasszikus. Pro: -jó terep. -nagyon jó zene, és hangzás. -karakter fejlődés. Contra: -borzalmas AI. -borzalmas…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's meant to be a Tactical Shooter, but your team AI is f***ing terrible. Still, the concept is great and similar to the Oregon Trail. Would only recommend if you liked the sound of that last bit.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun if you can get past the awful AI of your squadmates.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When I was a kid, I played better games on my Gameboy. Gameplay: Pitiful, the game evolves through the jungle alone, we watch a point advance on the map, this is a good idea but when we finally spawn on an enemy zone we wonder why there is only one enemy per area. When we finally find ourselves in an enemy zone where a gunfight is taking place, enemies spawn on the side and our allies run around like mad but don't shoot anyone. Aiming at an enemy to shoot him is useless, everything is…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is deathly glitchy on modern machines, possibly even on older machines it was built for too, prone to extremely frequent crashes - and having to do hoopla rituals in order to keep the game from doing this. "dIgGiTy dOn'T hEaL yOuR sQuAd tO 100" for a game this old from a time where games had really started to stabilize, and for the price they are asking you really shouldn't have to do any of that $#!&. For me the game crashed on the second patrol and near as I could tell there were no…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's like the Oregon Trail, just with less cholera and more bullets. This is such a fun game, even in 2026. I'm currently starting my second playthrough of it after getting a new PC two months ago, and it still runs just fine. Though I am aware some people have reported problems getting it to start. The game puts you in the ranks of the legendary MAC-V SOG program. Your selected team is tasked with performing sensitive operations like rescuing a downed pilot or recovering enemy code…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not great by any stretch of the imagination but listen: I’ve got a family and full-time job and one of my fav ways to wind down is immersing myself in the scenery of some cheap 80s/90s/early 00 action film produced by Cannon or Nu Image/Millenium. To that end it delivers 100%. Playing on easy, no challenge but a cool 80s Vietnam film atmosphere with the annoying gameplay quirks and poor execution in both combat and tactics to boot. Thumbs up!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has an incredible setting, giving you the real feeling of being in the jungle in Vietnam. The noise of nature is remarkable. Although I haven't played much yet, it's a game I want to return to to advance further and enjoy the gameplay. I recommend the game. Graphics already old but still beautiful. Great example of a good game with the theme of the Vietnam War.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great game. iv got all your games i think now. just beat line of sight Vietnam.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome game. John Plaster must have really contributed to it authenticity.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great Game...one of the best.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really advanced and cool sim for its time it does the setting really well. The bugs and some of the things you have to do to get it to run ruins the experience though.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In my opinion this is one of the most fun games in ziggurat's war series, it may have performance problems on different hardware, but it runs just fine on a docked steam deck, my only complaint is that the gun model isnt visible for some reason, but it has a fun commander format where you can plan out your squad's path, and when your crew runs into trouble you get to play as them in combat, make sure to change the difficulty in the settings and modify it nicely, also read up on the controls and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Elite Warriors: Vietnam sets out to deliver a grounded, small-team tactical experience rooted in the historical operations of SOG units during the Vietnam War. The premise is immediately compelling: you command a four-man special operations squad sent deep behind enemy lines to conduct reconnaissance, rescue missions, and sabotage runs under constant threat of discovery. Before each deployment, you choose your operatives from a roster of specialists—medics, scouts, demolitions experts—and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sadly this game is nearly a masterpiece. When my xm 21 .308 fires 3 shots through a visible enemy at sub 100 yards and doesnt so much as alert said enemy, the game gets yeeted. This formula is so fun but is marred by limitations of its time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Doesn't run on Windows 11. Error screen stating"abnormal program".
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Garbage. First time loaded fine. Froze up trying to play 1st campaign. Don't waste your money. I uninstalled it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quite reasonable gaming experience if you keep in mind how old the game really is. In the whole very athmospheric, sometimes even claustrophobic. You shouldn't compare it with state-of-the-art gaming though. Anyway, if you're in Vietnam War era gaming you should not miss out on this one. All in all a nice game to while away a few (many!) hours in the Southeast Asian jungle. [Note: Re-bought it on Steam today, but I clocked up about 50 hrs of gaming time years ago.]
