Second this game is like if "Convoy" (2015) and "Dust to the End" (2021) had a love child that did not live to the same amount of weight and content as its parents. So good premise with questionable execution. The game is very linear with an illusion of sandbox and a fairly simple economy system. This game feels like its a very short early access game with amazing foundations rather than a full…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →5/10. Cool idea, suboptimal imlementation. This game was never going to be some kind of high-complexity grand strategy game and the merchanting is as barebones as it comes, but it still could have been a great game if it delivered on it's Mad Max Fury Road style vehicle combat. It doesn't. From the graphics to the gameplay, it just doesn't have that *feel*. All enemies look the same, feel the same, and you deal with them all using more or less the same set of tactics. I want spiky vehicles…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alright. Dust Raiders is done and, well, dusted. I thought this was a pretty enjoyable game that is both challenging and yet also very accessible. It does have several issues, but the overall game was pretty cool. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3528063158 This is a variation on turn-based and real-time RPG or TRPG games, with the addition of a heavy emphasis on trading. I think I actually want to start with the core combat mechanic, which is real time with 'slow-down',…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to like this game, but the overworld controls are clunky and the pathfinding is awful. And merely moving around the map takes fuel, which costs resources, which run out fast. Not to mention the fact that there's no minimap/markers, and so you'll need to use up your limited fuel driving around aimlessly, and quite possibly getting absolutely murdered by all the high level enemies that are right by your starting location. Meanwhile , combat isn't exactly tactical, it's more…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fun, for 2 hours. Then it becomes tedious really. Barely anything new Wish i could recommend it but no..
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has an interesting idea but it's poorly executed. It's just bland to the point of being boring. - Very limited customization of cars and no skills to improve or other advancement. - Random events that are the same every time, and most of them are negative. - Stale and empty world with no replayability value. Same goes for story. - Traversing the map is slow and the pathfinding is bad getting you stuck way to often. - Dull combat to the point that I started to pay of the bandits rather…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You get maybe 10-15 hours of content. the random events are crap and repetitive and mostly just waste your time. the points of interest are one-and-done so if you mess it up then forget it, might as well save scum. The trading is rudimentary. there are missable achievements and another one is bugged. The combat is annoying as the movement is real time but the attacks are turn based so by the time your weapon recharges the enemy has already moved out of the way. Also the rewards from combat…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'd call this a 7/10 game with a 2/10 ending sequence. This game has a pretty cool start and a nice atmosphere, very Fallout 1 or 2 esque. The pathfinding can be annoying - when you click on the map, your little truck van thing gets stuck on boulders and terrain easily. The exploration is fun, it has your standard random encounters. Some things are unfinished - there is a lack of actual faction / enclave mechanics like relations, doing quests for them never gives you benefits like discounted…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →5/10 - Not bad, obviously needs some work, but a good concept. This reminds me a lot of the game Convoy, but with, i'll say, more "realistic" vehicles. It's also set in a far closer future than Convoy with a MUCH heavier focus on the merchant gameplay. It's a decent game, but there are some things I believe need work, most notably being fuel consumption, I get that it's supposed to emulate HUGE distances being driven between enclaves, but for gameplay reasons, I think it's overkill…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, Dust Raiders turned out better than I expected! The main storyline is pretty standard, nothing groundbreaking, but the atmosphere of the random events and side stories really makes up for it. I liked how managing your caravan actually matters. You have to watch your fuel, find better gear for your vehicles, and stay careful during combat because losing everything is surprisingly easy. Exploring the wasteland feels good, with plenty of side jobs and interesting locations. Battles are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting world and story, tactical battles. keeps you playing
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dust Raiders is quite an unique post apocalyptic tactical + management game. You have to travels city by city to refuel, while trading each city lowest price produce and sell high at another city to earn your fuel/Team. There are various of side quest that involve battle/ scouting/ travelling across wasteland, where unknown encounter might ruin your day in an instant. However, this game battle system is abit janky to my likely, you are not really in a tactical RPG, where you take turns to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Feels like its missing some stuff that is in the description, vehicle customization feels pretty limited. Would like to see the ability to paint/ color vehicles, and more physical representation of vehicle armor equipping (I had a plow, put it on the main vehicle and couldn't see it on the vehicle's model). And the combat gets boring and tedious, you have to control every vehicle to get them to fight and not hit environmental hazards. Would be nice if the support vehicles were actually…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game really kind of dances around a positive and negative. I like the battling of the game, which is good because there really isn't any "reward" for fighting. So in some ways that make this game a bit difficult, because at some point you just want to try and skip every encounter you can. Some fights you do get some rewards, but it's usually stuff you need room in your cargo, and need to go to a specific town to get any where near it's worth in money. Sometimes you do get gear, but it's…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not much to it. Combat controls have to be the most un-intuitive I've ever seen. Combat will frustrate you. The map is small and the story is really a bit meh, doesn't feel worth the amount of time it takes to complete. Good effort, but falls short.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definitely needs a difficulty tweak or at least a scale when it comes to combat. Ideally, combat would just be turn-based but then you'd lose the "high intensity octane thrill" that I doubt the developers are willing to leave on the cutting room floor. I'd say it's good to play now if you're younger and/or have faster reaction times, but if you're a bit older or lock up a little, you will get caught by combat and suffer everywhere else because of it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quite nice blend of Port Royale (economics), FTL (combat) and Mad Max (the setting). Pretty well polished. Some more variety of enemies, vehicles and activities would be appreciated, as it becomes too repetitive in the second half of the game (fortunately by then you can skip most of the combat, which is great)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game with some interesting premise, so far I enjoy it, will update the review when I play it a bit more. Pros is the vibe and story. Some cons are random encounters are not really random at times, but I can feel that it will be updated in the future. Recommending, but it is a solid 6.5-7/10 as of now
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just finished the game. I could say it's an average or a little bit above average with the current content. If there will be more customisation and things to do in game i think the rating would go up for sure. Try it out. With the current price you won't regret it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a very good premise with mediocre execution. The game is very linear with a very simple economy system and a very simple - and ugly - combat system. 4/10.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dust Raiders is, well… a combat business simulator set in a post-apocalyptic world, somewhat reminiscent of Mad Max or the Wasteland series. You’re the leader of a trade convoy, and thanks to your sacrifices, bravery, and trusty old truck, some semblance of civilization still exists. While your main goal is to maintain trade between the handful of surviving settlements, you’ll also have to deal with the bandits swarming the wastelands. Oh, and there’s a revenge story too – but more on that if…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has much going for it. Anyone who liked Dust to the End will like this. The primary issue is the scope and scale of the game. The map size is quite small and the game play does not have sufficient depth. Though the mechanics are there. Not sure if this game will finally go somewhere are stagnate at this level. It is worth a play through. One point to node, the game is actually not open world but has a campaign to follow to go to different areas.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly the game is pretty bare as far as content goes. Missions often do not work or spawn or are so far out of range that you would never know where they are (as there is no guidance). There are VERY few vehicles you can get. The combat is also pretty clumsy and frustrating. Maybe if they update the game a good bit more and maybe add mods it would be worth the price. Not going to refund it but i just can't recommend it in its current state.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good simple game, repetiteveness is what makes this game, slowly advancing to harder levels. Price too high though, should be 5-7 eur, not 15
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is good simple fun. World is cool to drive around and explore. Controls are easy to pick up and the tutorial explains what you need to know. Great UI for understanding trading without needing to take notes. Cool enough story to keep it moving along. Really great for a cheap indie game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was looking at other reviews and was kinda worried, but after playing the game itself for a bit... it's not bad. Of course it's not the real Mad Max 2, but has that cruel and rusted moto-post-apo mood going and doesn't hide its inspirations. The fighting is a bit unusual and I didn't like it much at first, but after getting some cars and gear I found myself comfortable with it. Writing is solid and there's plenty of different events. Maybe the amount of possible side-missions is not as high…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →THIS GAME IS HOT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dustland delivery is better then this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game plays kind of like Taipan from the 80s but with a fuel mechanic and real time tile combat instead of pressing space when 8 bit ships cross in front of your cannon. I feel like the game is giving you the illusion of open world but it's fairly heavily leashed by pushing the story line, especially in the early game. World building is pretty good, what little I saw of the factions and stuff is good.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice little game, that doesn't overstay it's welcome. It's not complicated, it's not very taxing, just a smooth ride through the wasteland to victory.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dust Raiders is an absolute gem! From the moment you dive into its gritty, post-apocalyptic world, you're hooked. The gameplay is fast-paced and deeply strategic, with a perfect blend of action and tactics. The visuals are stunning — dusty wastelands, detailed characters, and atmospheric effects that pull you right in. What truly sets it apart is the depth of customization and the satisfying progression system. Whether you're a fan of PvP or story-driven missions, Dust Raiders delivers. Highly…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun game! Cool vehicles, fun battles, and great post-apocalyptic vibe. I'm hooked!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought it, played it and refunded it. Seems cool to start off with but within 30 minutes you can see the game just getting mega boring and not even look forward to progression of your convoy. Perhaps it was just me but it just seemed like the game at its core is too simple and lackluster. Honestly I have no ideas for them to make this into something i would return to, however I wish them all the best with the development.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played the beta a while ago and now finally got into the full release - still super fun and really hard to stop playing. The game pulls you in with its gritty world and tense atmosphere. Driving through the wasteland just feels great. The story is decent, pretty classic revenge setup, but it’s all the little events and choices that keep things interesting. Combat’s satisfying, very dynamic when you get more vehicles - can screw you over if you’re not careful with obstacles. Also, gotta say…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun Mad Max themed survival game... Also has story quest. Game has seen a lot of updates so game is good to buy. Has also 3 difficulty settings to play and raid mode to enjoy only combat. 8/10 Gameplay 6/10 Sound and music 8/10 Fun factor A gem of a game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Plot is kinda simple, but the world is full of interactions and gameplay is addictive. Atmosphere in this game is similar to Mad Max or Fallout, worth to buy honestly. :_)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mehh.. good idea but not enough content.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was discouraged by the negative reviews at first, but gave it a chance and am i glad i did. Very nice game, lots of potential. Bit short and still missing some stuff to be a great game (more content, more upgrades, autorefuel, less clunky trade), but will surely get back to it for one more replay once more content (hopefully) will be added. Ironman mode is a but harsh when you lose a battle and lose so much, but there is no time limit and you can always get back on your feet - liked this a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Need way more content to be fun
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm really enjoying this game. Real time with pause combat is fun, and I like trying out different escort vehicles and weapons/equipment. So far I'm not finding it too hard or too easy, seems to be just challenging enough as I'm learning the game. I'm playing with save anywhere, when I'm ready for a greater challenge I'll do ironman. I feel like I'm getting my money's worth from the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First of all, this game is entertaining, but unpolished. But it is actually indicatesn in how many ways this game can be improved by!) Fighting. I don't believe devs should change the way player controll several trucks, but I think they need to improve terrain obstacles, either remove them or make them less hazardous. Weapons. For now there is only so much weapons that is very usefull, more weapons should be added. Trading. I like trading a lot, only it need to be adjusted to be more random,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game reminds me of why I don't like most rts games
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What can I say... I'm surprised. I'm surprised how good it is. Mad max game we truly deserve - and we finally got it. Just because there is grid during combat - do not mistake it for turn-based. The game is real-time through and through (during combat you have active pause to slow it down to snail's pace to plan and move accordingly). So far I'm very satisfied with the game itself and with how developers tackles critical issues that appear in the game. Game worth every dollar I spent on it.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So far, game has given me some much needed nostagia for old Mad Max. Game is nice, I need to play it more to uncover more of the story and land. Parts of the game has become repetetive after some time. PLEASE add more random encounters with some more variations, I would love to do more than finding combat and/or some resources. Give me the story. I will update this after some more time of playtime.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For my second ever review I decided to take a look a Dust Raiders a management strategy game with strong Mad Max vibes #indiegames youtu.be/WzoZWuL18n0
unlabelledView post →Mad Max gone corsairs
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i wish there were more main vehicles instead of the roamer also wish that the cities would change with the stock market like if u sell enough waste to Plenty then they make it cost less to buy because they have more also why am i getting bandits every 2 seconds and why does the fuel go down so fast
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love the Mad Max movies and I love strategy and management games so this game is right up my alley. The combat is super satisfying and you can make pretty amazing builds of your caravan to obliterate those pesky raiders. The flavor texts are written very well and really sell the desperation of the apocalypse. Navigating and exploring the world map is fun, the trading and economy are straight forward and it's very accessible for newer players of the genre. It's a simple concept with a lot to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best and rare games about cars and post apocalypse. I played the demo to death, and now the game is finally out! I wish they would make a dlc\ addon where you can only play solo on one car, but change it to other types or only customize it until you know it like Tisei's ship.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A small, atmospheric game about post-apocalyptic transportation with a distinct Mad Max vibe. I got more than I expected, but less than I hoped for. The gameplay is good, but it does become repetitive over time. While this would have slightly detracted from the core of the game, the game would have benefited greatly from universal access to a common storage area in all shelters, even if it would have reduced the completion time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First half-hour gave me early 2000's flash game vibes, not the longest but for a newer game on the market its quite promising, Good progression and trade system, an upgrade for adding more slots to vehicles would be nice.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a good transporter game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've now made it to what feels like half way through the map. Totally enjoying this game. It has a simple, yet effective UI. The feel is reminiscent of Madmax/Furiosa with a very appropriate twangy score. The writing is superb. It checks off several RPG mechanics quite well. Kudos to the dev team. Can't wait to see what's in store next.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was fun, but a little short. Would love more end of main quest content, or more vehicle mod variety. It does have a spark of old school AutoDuel in its bones.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good chill game :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dust Raider is an absolute blast to play. From the moment you jump in, it grabs you with fast-paced action, smooth controls, and a surprisingly immersive world. The gameplay loop is super addictive, each run feels fresh, and there’s always something new to discover. The level design keeps you on your toes, and the soundtrack amps up the energy perfectly. It strikes a great balance between challenge and fun, making it easy to pick up but hard to put down. If you're looking for a game that's…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it is fun but needs new quests
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a pretty good game with a Mad Max atmosphere. There is plenty of charm and solid gameplay as you roam the wastes, trade, recruit your crew and upgrade your fleet of vehicles. In one of the enclaves I even saw a quest which would allow you to start a new factory. I'm still not sure how much you can influence the whole "dynamic" economy, but it looks like you can boost production of settlement main goods by meeting their own needs. I wish the game offered slightly more in terms of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game it will be better when devs add more content and polish it a bit
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So waht is this game exactly? This is a light weight car combat and traiding simulator game. It is like convoy or Blasted Highway, but more traiding, and a post apocaliptic theme. This is not Road wars 2000, or some other heavy management game. I recomend this game to anyone who would like to trade around settlements and have some carcombat in a post apocaliptic world. It has some exploration in the world map, but it is quite one way. You open up the next zone and it is part of your…
