There's very little skill element. the progression involved hours upon hours of grinding. 17 hours in I just don't feel like any satisfaction from completing the game will justify struggling with the same repetitive gamplay any longer. Maybe the game can be salvaged with a couple of patches. More equipment to buy, shorter levels and a few…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A deceptive little title. Without getting into the tedious details this is unfortunately a very grindy, tedious game. Most roguelikes at least have a learning curve that combined with unlocking equipment/abilties, will allow you to eventually beat the game but Dungelot has a very low skill ceiling and eventually you are just grinding the same dungeon repeatedly in the hopes you either get enough money for upgrades or stumble upon a lucky run. The concept is great and the artwork is wonderful,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Have i Played this? I discovered this game was casual enough to be played while listening to my audiobooks, mostly Disaster Artist. It felt like the game was running in the background, from how little it required from me. The irony, is that by the end of Disaster Artist, Tommy was closer to a human than this was to a game. Now looking back, this is an odd game. I can't deny the concept was interesting, but somehow the game starts and ends there. So, if you haven't noticed from the store page,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a great game. Deep combat, huge amount of RPG goodness, skills, discovery, exploration, and a deep narrative. So much to do. So much love in this game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →More of a slot machine than a game. The gameplay is primarily clicking on tiles to reveal a random enemy or item while maintaining health and rations.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tentative recommendation. While the game itself is fun, mechanically sound and aethetically pleasing, it becomes boring and repetative quite quickly. This is not so much a fault with the title itself, but rather a consequence of being on the wrong platform. Therefore, I would recommend you only pick this game up if you are looking for something to play inbetween ~10-15 breaks rather than something to play for hours on end.

(one of the items literally says "bad localisation. This is an exeption.") also this seems to cause further game breaking bugs. you can't start levels corectly, can't open the menue, Buttons disapear, you can't die but the game does not really progress, etc. This is a real shame as I actually liked the game before they broke it. odds are they might fix it. but if…

You have four characters to play as, each offering a different playstyle. Your goal is to defeat the evil forces and reunite the land, which means going through countless dungeons. The game is rather challenging, sometimes frustrating, but highly addictive. Be ready to die often and make sure to save up your gold! Story The story isn’t a major part of the game. If you are into long farming get this game for your phone/tablet for 50% of the price and play it while traveling or while being on toilet. Dungelot is a dungeon crawler rogue like game that was designed originaly for phones and tablets. It was released on PC without any upgrades or changes and yet its price was more than doubled. The basic idea is not bad per say but the game is incredibly…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is not designed for PC, you need to click more times than necessary because the game was designed for mobile phone.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Farming simulator 2k16 Interesting for a few hours then you realise it's just grinding and trying the same level over and over again until you are lucky enough not to get ridiculous floors with poison+traps+♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ennemy effects.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Starts off fun enough then the 3rd dungeon you have to clear 20 levels while hoping the RNG does not screw you over. But if that RNG even once summons a skeleton archer there will go all your HP and Armor, especially if it is all the way across the map. GL having enough items to deal with it then as you are gimped to 4 item slots at that point with no way to upgrade slots. Oh and you can't upgrade stats yet as apparently that is locked behind completing more of the game, so even if you buy the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is initially fun, however, one soon realizes that progression depends solely on mindless boring grinding. This is clearly a mobile game that should not be sold in this platform.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty good dungeon crawler. First of all it's casual, means - easy and relaxing. Secondly - it's well done: visuals, sounds, humor are polished, I haven't encounter a single bug. It's pretty addictive and doesn't let you (me) go until it's done. Though the game value entertaining-wise is a bit low, as well as there are some poorly designed elements: - only paladin class is viable skills-wise, other classes feels like total crap; - very high difficulty level of first dungeon in act 3 (before…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is not playable. You start with a tutorial and the entire game becomes non-responsive half-way. Nothing happens wherever you click and restarting or reinstalling doesn't fix it. It's not even a game at this point and the devs aren't doing anything about it considering it happens to a lot of people.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game breaking bug prevents me from even starting the 1st dungeon in act 2. Requesting a refund. Hope I get it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dungelot is a grindy and extremely tedious/frustrating and unbalanced clicker game, with very simplistic gameplay. To make matters worse is the large volume of RNG-based systems, which make you feel like you don't have any control over the game at all. The game can get unfairly difficult due its RNG and imbalanced state, and you have to re-grind the exact same dungeons if you want to play with a different hero. Even the achievements are designed to be grindy. So overall, Dungelot is an easy…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Morlan's shorts: If you have a mobile that can play this and aren't bothered much by RND-based games and don't mind the fairly high price for a mobile game.. eh.. maybe get it.. But it's too expensive for such a game with this available content/gameplay and way too much random to be enjoyable on a PC. Graphics and animations are fine-cute, music is alright and atmospheric..but the gameplay has the fundamental flaw of randomness (and NOT strategy) as you will usually run out of food and there's…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is pure base on luck and too hard.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like another reviewer said, there is very little skill to this game. It's a mobile game designed to pass the time by tapping the screen to randomly get monsters or treasure. Playing a lot will get coins and sometimes let you buy better items, but progression and success is mostly just luck.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are a lot of things that are somewhat irritating in this game. You can have an unlucky dungeon run where it's almost certain you will fail just due to the luck of the loot dropped on your way through. There is only a small amount of equipment, and most weapons have a terrible reduction to accuracy which makes them all unusable in my opinion (30% chance to miss and two handed means there's no ability to equip a shield. That's not good enough for a 10% gain in attack power). However I…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kinda like Minesweeper but with RPG stuff. Just kinda wish there was a bit more to this (with all aspects, music, gameplay, progression etc). It also feels a little dated. The humor is pretty cool, but it just gets a little boring. Note - If you have a vision impairment, windows magnifier will not work in full screen mode. It works fine windowed. Some of the text during gameplay vanishes pretty fast too, but i don't think its that relevant.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i'm on the fence about this one. the games not bad, you click tiles to see whats under them, then take the items, or fight enemies (if you want). you do this until you find a key then you can keep clicking tiles or move on. any enemy uncovered does not have to be attacked but they will block you from looking at tiles next to them, also enemies always attack first though some items can damage them without them attacking. this would be better on your phone as this game gets really boring played…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Without a doubt.. this is the classic mobile game you see in the market, I can't stand mobile games, it's a bare bones phone tapper disguised as some kind of dungeon exploration game. Some will disagree but I really don't see a point in porting this to PC, boring.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I feel bad cause this game is a half step away from being pretty entertaining. Your experience is highly dependent on the RNG and it ultimately drags out gameplay so much that the boosts of excitement you get from new content are too far away from each other. Could be fixed with an alternate play mode or difficulty setting.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Advanced minesweeper. fun and amusing to play, especially while multitasking.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the controls are unresponsive at times waiting for pointless animations to resolve. voice acting and writing is cringy the game is okay with some strategy and but significant reliance on luck to get through the later levels. Its not a bad game but its mediocre. The art and production value are pretty good though
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game stopped working on act 2, could not progress.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't bother buying that on steam, only 1$ on google play... f*** y**
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It feels weird writing a full review for something like this, a very simple "lite RPG" that basically just goes "and now do it again but slightly harder!" 17 more times after the first dungeon. But yeah, each floor is either a special floor or a 5x5 grid of tiles, with one of them starting out flipped to reveal the locked door to the next level. You can reveal any tile adjacent to one you've already revealed, and from there choose to deal with what's underneath it, which could be a monster,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Summary: (longer version below) While seemingly simple, once you dive into it, Dungelot shows some degree of depth, keeping you engaged just long enough to avoid getting stale. It doesn't suffer from too many bugs, but the few I experienced were very annoying. With some additional polishing and balancing, this game could've been just a bit more entertaining, but I believe for its length it's not that important. Achievements: Cloud Saving: Trading Cards:…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a bad game by itself, but another case of bad roguelike mechanics. The game relies too much on luck and sometimes a dungeon run can end really fast from some negative effect. Another problem is that the later dungeons take way too long, anything past 20 floors is too long and if you fail you have to start all over again. On my first boss run I died when I arrived on stage 30 just from the poison I got the stage before. I am about half way through the campaign and lost interest completely…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A decent time waster. I don't know if you'd call it a bug or an exploit, but I did stumble on one that'd let me buy extra items. I have no shame in admitting that I used it a lot to help me get through dungeons slightly easier. Don't get me wrong, you'll still die a lot.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Would have been a decent game with adjustments to the grinding formular. The introduction is mostly fine, the gameplay has some variance and progression, and introduces numerous elements. Sadly, you soon hit a grinding wall, because of your lack of money you have to collect, items you have to pay for, and randomness. You repeat the same level again and again, because that's the only way to farm money, and even with all buyable items bought the level is still not an easy task, and randomness…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game seemed really fun at first because it actually felt difficult. That is, until you realize that the "difficulty" is just 100% pure and utter trash RNG. Then you just get angry and wish you would not have spent the money on this game. If you like to grind for hours in a laughable and silly pure unadulterated RNG dungeon crawler, spend the money. Be warned though, you will hate yourself. If you value your time, save your money.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unlocks are too difficult to get. I've only put in like 8 hours but still, i'm just running in and dying in the same place every time over and over. No progression because of a grind wall that is unnecessary for pc.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you can pick this up for the price of a typical mobile game, I'd say go for it. This game is definitely made for mobile. Although there's lots of roguelike elements, the game still relies heavily on RNG. Gameplay also reminds me of Minesweeper where you click open tiles to uncover either monsters, loot, or the key to next floor. Each dungeon will require multiple playthroughs until you save up enough gold to upgrade and overcome the monsters in the dungeon. There's also a bug right now…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dungelot: shattered lands is a game mixed with Minesweeper elements, its a rogue like RPG Dungeon crawler game. Your goal is to unravel tiles to find a key to the next floor/room as you unravel tiles you will find food, gold, weapons etc. You have 3 characters but can only use one character to start with, You play through the levels to unlock the other characters. There is also boss levels . You can craft bombs weapons aswell. If you like Dungeon Crawler games , then this is the game for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bias: I am a dinosaur. I like to loot, destroy, and trample This game is great. It is a mix of minekeeper with dungeoning. Hopefully the square you select does not have a monster in it, if it does, hopefully you can defeat it. You make your way through multiple levels in each region of the map, unlocking new characters and new goodies to make the game play easier. (well hopefully easier). You can even play a never ending dungeon. This game is quick and fast paced in my opinion, and you can…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dungelot: Shattered Lands is an interesting port from mobile that is a surprisingly decent title. I stepped into this game after seeing only a 5 minute review when I was looking for something completely different than the usual variety of games I inhale. The game may seem like an easy clicker time sink while it is actually deceptively challenging and quite rewarding. It offers a variety of three different themes with an increasing skill level required and experience with the game. It allows…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →grindy as ♥♥♥♥ mobile port that's also overpriced as ♥♥♥♥ ($10). I still enjoyed it for way longer than I expected. I think I did everything except killing dozens of some of the rarest enemies. for anybody wondering, it's nothing like minesweeper, no place for deduction, just click tiles to find either loot or something to kill or get killed by. there are more games in the franchise but sadly those aren't available on pc. a bunch of similar games exist, mostly not worth bothering with. wait for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice neat graphics, good progression at the beginning. Was very motivated but it's way too much grinding from Act II onward.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I genuinely gave it a shot. After more than an hour, it's still just not fun.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Think minesweeper with DnD trappings & a metagame progression. Although I resent the devs for failing to keep the original game functional on iOS (got bricked by an OS update), I have to admit that this sequel is a pretty nice time waster. It's well executed, art is good, progression is interesting and the core mini-game is satisfying. It's certainly not worth the full price, but if you can pick it up on sale, it's a nice distraction.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty much a classic roguelike, comparable to the ones that were roaming around between 1990 and 2010. Modern mechanics are implemented, like crafting and continual developement of your heroes even if they're dying (back then, you usually had to start at zero after death). And this is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Some people don't like the amount of rng. But the whole point of this game is to reduce the rng. Keeping the ressources you spend to explore the floors at a minimum and trying to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dungelot: Shattered Lands is a roguelite dungeon-crawler with minesweeper inspired game mechanics. The graphics are really cute and the soundtrack fits the atmosphere well. It’s not overly difficult and therefore perfect for casual players.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not terrible I guess. It works, and it's a mild diversion. But it's basically just a simplistic mobile game. Not much to it, and no real reason you'd want to spend time playing this on a PC when there are so many other better games you could be playing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →oKay, So I didn't really give this game a chance at first. It's very basic design in concept. After installing this game a second time, I was able to chill and I found it a lot more enjoyable. I do find it to be an a-moo-sing game...what with a zombie cow as the first boss. A light hearted cartoonish maze game, with silly and cute characters. Artwork is very easy on the eyes, bright and fun. It's so simple at first, but takes a good 10 mins to get into it. Good difficulty and but there…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute, addictive, funny. :) Just what I need! :) The game has really lovely graphics. The humor is on point (the description of a Zombie with a fork in its head always puts a smile on my face). Totally recommending when you just want something to relax. :)
