unlabelledView post →Spend as much time with your loved ones as you can and when you can - and take lots of photos and videos (and screenshots in game!) We last saw each other at the NYC Distant Worlds in June which also happened to be her birthday, and i will treasure that memory always
unlabelledView post →The Distant Worlds 3 event happening in Elite Dangerous is so cool; folks have built an entire roleplaying game platform around it, there are radio stations, a magazine, a SRV racing circuit, a bunch of people doing nerd things in spreadsheets, plus more, and it's entirely community-driven.
unlabelledView post →Experience the full depth and detail of turn-based strategy, but with the simplicity and ease of real-time, and on the scale of a massively multiplayer online game in Distant Worlds 2. April Choice supports One Tree Planted | bit.ly/4jcEFj0
unlabelledView post →Everyone cheered when they started playing music from FFXV and I wanted to cry happy tears lmao, that game will always hold a special place in my heart Also they played Ascension from 16, Dion enjoyers we were fed Anyway Distant Worlds was beautiful and super fun 11/10
unlabelledView post →FINAL FANTASY FEBRUARY Not really sure what I want to say on the last day, so here's my copy of Theatrhythm. For my first Distant Worlds concert I got the VIP tickets which included a meet-and-greet with Nobuo Uematsu. A rhythm game stuffed full of his music felt like the natural choice!
unlabelledView post →Introduce yourself with the last five concerts you saw: Halestorm, Lindsey Stirling, and Apocalyptica Stardew Symphony Sabaton & Judas Priest Distant Worlds - Final Fantasy Symphony Eorzean Symphony I... uhh... really like video game symphony music. 😅
unlabelledView post →I've hardly been to any concerts or musicals unless you count video game music concerts, in which case: I've seen Video Games Live twice, Distant Worlds, two seperate video game and Final Fantasy symphonies, a Zelda orchestra, and Sonic concerts also! Next is Stardew Valley and Clair Obscur 👀
unlabelledView post →Today's game of the week is very special to me. This is my copy of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy for the 3DS, signed by Nobuo Uematsu at a Distant Worlds concert. I couldn't think of anything better to have signed than a rhythm game where he wrote most of the music.
unlabelledView post →We listen to and analyze six pieces of music from #FinalFantasy XI Having limited experience with the game itself, we pull primarily from Distant Worlds and New Worlds albums and think on the nature of medieval or renaissance music PLUS: Xenogears, Final Fantasy VIII & FFVII Rebirth comparisons:
unlabelledView post →Oh cool, the Distant Worlds 3 starport is in-game now and it's like 50,000lys away from civilisation... but it's got a cute name...

unlabelledView post →A fun fact about me: I am so very good at jumping onto trends late, hence why my first ever FF game was 14, and I missed the train there too by starting at Dawn Trail. Based on recommendations from friends and a Distant Worlds concert, which played Zanarkand, I have decided to start with 10.
unlabelledView post →I think any video-game themed orchestral concert (Distant Worlds, etc.) could be vastly improved is there were no screen involved. leave the distraction of cutscenes and gameplay footage out of the symphony hall and allow the music and performance itself to be the unfettered primary focus!
unlabelledView post →I was surprised like half of Distant Worlds was XIV and XVI music, but thinking about it if you played a “new” Final Fantasy game in the past decade it was going to be either XVI or a XIV expac
unlabelledView post →My plans tonight. Had to close my eyes during FFXVI’s ‘Ascension’ at Distant Worlds last night to make sure I didn’t get spoiled by the accompanying game video. :3
unlabelledView post →The Distant Worlds concert making me want to find my whimsy again and remember all cool ppl i met playing ff14. Listening to Amanda perform Flow and realizing that a couple bad experiences do not make up the majority of my experience with the game Also i miss playing Au Ra
unlabelledView post →Some doodles after going to the Final Fantasy Distant Worlds concert. It was the first time going to a video game concert and it was really fun 😭
unlabelledView post →still bouncing off the walls with excitement DISTANT WORLDS WAS SO LOVELY AAAAA i've always wanted to hear a vidy game orchestra live 🥹
unlabelledView post →Even at Distant Worlds when they played music from xvi there was some miserable person saying out loud how they didn't like the game and gods I was so close to turning around and looking at them but their friend told them to stfu (thank you)
unlabelledView post →Finish the first rough rough draft of my novel DISTANT WORLDS, a queer space adventure love story that is a game changer for the genre. Yes, I will also write the TV pilot or feature film version. Or the graphic novel version (might even draw it?) #ScriptSky #FiveAfterFive
unlabelledView post →7.5 has me in my feelings about FFXI, so here are all the Distant Worlds orchestral arrangements of songs from the game! Memoro de la Stono~Distant Worlds (vocalist: Susan Calloway) www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dr9J...
unlabelledView post →Today on “Will it run on the Steam Deck:” ✅ Distant Worlds 2 Initial long load but runs flawlessly. Set 60fps, TDP 11w, GPU 800. Excellent 4x space game that is super detailed! Eg. Resources need to be mined & SHIPPED to the location you want to build. Go from pre-warp to dominating the galaxy!
unlabelledView post →OH FUCK DISTANT WORLDS 3 IN ELITE??? I NEED TO GET BACK INTO THE GAME BEFORE THAT STARTS-
unlabelledView post →Once I get back from Distant Worlds I want to start on this version of Dion’s costume. It’s exactly what I wanted from his in-game design.
unlabelledView post →Going back to Ala Mhigo for post-ShB content in our replay and man I'm so glad I got to hear Songs of Salt and Suffering live at Distant Worlds. It really is one of my favourite tracks in the game
unlabelledView post →For those going to Distant Worlds in NYC in June - looks like there is a World Cup game in the area that day, /and/ the news is reporting that they might be closing off parts of Penn Station to WC ticketholders on some days, so...think about transportation now lol
unlabelledView post →This is Elite Dangerous, a game that has a to scale representation of the milky way! I find the game very fun, but it is fairly heavy on the flight sim aspects compared to a lot of games (not quite MS Flight Sim, but getting there). I'm currently on a player run group event called Distant Worlds 3.
unlabelledView post →So I've decided definitively that 2025 will be the year I finally dive into Final Fantasy XI. With me going to Distant Worlds Chicago in January, I'm so excited to finally experience the game behind the namesake! youtu.be/Dr9JA2i0HAs?...
unlabelledView post →Welp, since I can't get tickets to the Zelda Symphony, maybe I'll try to go to Distant Worlds again. I miss game concerts.
unlabelledView post →It's FF14 and 16 focused, but arguably FF14 encompasses so many FFs and their music to the point songs like Eternal Wind get more associated with FF14 then the game it actually came from (FF3). So for all I know it could still be a normal Distant Worlds concert 😂
unlabelledView post →I always dreamed of being able to play video game music with fellow fans. But back in the late 2000s that wasn't such a thing and something you could onlt hope for and then Distant Worlds and a new world happene and changed the game for me. Then seeing ATLA live and Naruto
unlabelledView post →Had a fun vacation. Main events were Distant Worlds and first time fighting game locals
unlabelledView post →4. best lyrical track in a game don't know if this one's cheating b/c i never played FFXI, but the concert rendition of Memoro De La Stono/Distant Worlds from the Distant Worlds concert series has always been near & dear to my heart youtu.be/FAiFyvro5-4?...
unlabelledView post →Oh that sounds INCREDIBLE. I still can't replay the start of the game without sobbing I love seeing live orchestras of game music. I've seen FF Distant Worlds multiple times, Nier Automata, and Game of Thrones (not a video game but the music is 😍)
unlabelledView post →Wife took me to Distant Worlds and it was like reliving the last 30 years of my life in video game music form

unlabelledView post →I attended a Distant Worlds performance at Carnegie Hall. I couldn't believe they made a real location after the game
unlabelledView post →I think the side-quests are just so obviously filler content. I ended up rushing through the last 1/2 of the game to finish before a Distant Worlds concert, and it felt like... A lot of love went into these storylines, but we were never really given a reason to care about this stuff over the MSQ.
unlabelledView post →It was fantastic! Definitely on par with other game symphonies like Zelda’s Symphony of the Goddesses or Final Fantasy Distant Worlds!
unlabelledView post →A lot of what makes a good overworld for me is the theme and 9 has the best one by far Although I do also like the Distant Worlds 3 overworld theme a lot too but that feels like cheating because it's not in the game.
unlabelledView post →Game music concerts are all over the place nowadays but Distant Worlds really did lay the path and their care and love with all of our Final Fantasy memories does not go unnoticed! Anyway, it's been a long time since I've seen it happen. Bring the opera back next time please xoxoxo
unlabelledView post →I’m 17 hours into FF VI. Will I finish it before the Distant Worlds show on Saturday? 🤔 Would love to hear Dancing Mad in the game and then the orchestral mix live!
unlabelledView post →I’m pretty sure this is the first time they’re ever using a Distant Worlds version of a Final Fantasy song in a game before too. The FFXIV orchestra songs previously used have just been their own concert performances.
unlabelledView post →The remixed version of Vanadiel March for the final boss makes me wish they did play around with the music a bit more then just the XI originals. A bit sad they didn't get a vocal track for Distant Worlds in game for the actual singing part, but meh.
unlabelledView post →No, you got it 100% correct. My wife and I went to Distant Worlds in Dallas last December and half of the second set was from FF14. I came home and started up the free game later the week after and bought the digital CE over Christmas break.
unlabelledView post →YEAH THE PIXEL REMASTER WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO DO IT JUSTICE before that we *did* have a really amazing Distant Worlds performance (which covers the whole opera uninterrupted versus the actual in-game events...)
unlabelledView post →Distant Worlds is such a beautiful song and I just know the moment I actually hear it in game I'm gonna burst into tears 😭😢
unlabelledView post →And so many years later, Distant Worlds comes along. Distant Worlds are final fantasy orchestral concerts, combining game fans with classical musicians in world class venues. The show has been touring for years now and plays to packed out houses across the world.
unlabelledView post →RE5 is a very messy game but man, that Wesker boss theme holds up so well. Sounds like a Distant Worlds arrangement of a Nobuo Uematsu song in the best way. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OLa...
unlabelledView post →during winter, I saw the Final Fantasy Distant Worlds symphony in Las Vegas! this was my coord~ I don't play the game personally, but it's my fiancee's favorite franchise and game so ofc I dressed up as his in-game version of me lmao (we're both lalafel, I just forgot my ears in the pic) #ffxiv
unlabelledView post →I like Civ but it is a huge time suck. I think my next one will be space themed: Maybe Distant Worlds. I bounced off Stellaris for some reason. I also liked Islanders for a minimalist 4x game that's pretty.
unlabelledView post →I was obsessed with the Distant Worlds version of Memoro de la Stono in college before I'd ever even touched a Final Fantasy game
