Streamlined character building. Procedurally generated hex-based maps. Five revisit-able areas of rising difficulty. Turn-based strategic movement and tactical combat. Limited pooled inventory. Hardcore nature. Requires farming for gold and resources. Scales well but unbalanced. Optional permadeath. Single-player only STATUS:…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →With around an hour play, i would like to give constructive criticism for the devs. The genre is popular, im sure there are a lot of people including me who are willing to play Darkest Dungeon type of games out there. But there are a few things that need to be addressed i believe. I started the game with Ice Mage, so no tutorial. I dont see the reason, why there is tutorial with Warrior and not with another hero? Doesnt make sense. Thats why at times i felt i had lack of info of what to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →tl;dr Wait to see if this game improves before buying. This is not an actual review of the game, as I played very little, but more of a first impression. So take it with a grain of salt. With Early Access, I typically don't give the benefit of the doubt when I get a bad first impression. Indeed, I simply did not like what I played, and even got a refund. However, the game has potential and even has some very attractive features. I will be keeping an eye out for it and may buy it again later if…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absurd amount of bugs with variety. Most hit the resources very hard. For example while you try to consume only one health potion, it consumes every consumable potions include stamina ones all of a sudden. You lost all your will to continue while everything looks cozy just for a second. How can you manage your economy with this? Big potential but impactful bugs are deterring. Refundable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →FIRST comment I will last for eternity! Well thoughtful game. I loved the combos we can do with different characters, my fav so far to use are the Half -Vampire and the Paladin. The game's becomes intense when your chars start to have low health and stamina, and the atmosphere the game really nails it. Loved the art in the game, kinda a mixture of battle brothers and darkest dungeon, but original enough to be distinct. Overall a good thumbs up, looking forward to see more
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the game. It is simple, yet has the potential to be complex. I think it has great promise, but has many missing features and bugs. I liked the game enough to not try to get a refund after an hour, and it is only after 8.5 hours of play that I find the bugs too much of a negative to continue to play. I am not disappointed that I spent the $20 on this game during EA if it means it may get fleshed out and fixed later. I do hope to come back and play a more polished version of this game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First off, it's a simple linear RPG with honestly minimal content. Overall it's fun enough to play for a short time but then thats it. The game is buggy, random stuff here and there but nothing serious to stop the game. It's supper annoying though. One of the worst I noticed is all my characters names keep changing itself to all the same name. The battles are rather simple, there isnt really any strategy at all. The interface is worse!!! For some reason you can attack an empty tile. Why do I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the art. The animations are just fine. So this was my first walkthrough. At first, there's a menu, with up many classes to pick up. since I kinda into vampire stuff, I picked up the half-vamp. Oh, and you can choose either male or female. There's a small tutorial which pretty basic, but the game ain't that complex, so is just fine. After walking for a few seconds, a bandit appeared and called me "scum!" , I immediately sent my half-vampire to kill him and feast on his blood. Rip to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Doing something as simple as using the INN is impossible. So No I'm not recommending it. I don't think a game in the history of gaming has made using an inn as complicated or obscured as this. Save your money.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great adventure and balanced characters, they blend all well with each other, also like the gameplay and the ambience. Each class is unique and has its own challenges and play style. Recommend 9/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Paths & Danger is a strategy/tactical RPG based around the concept of randomized/procedural runs. It builds on the core conceits of games like Darkest Dungeon, albeit with a simpler, easier-to-grasp set of core mechanics. Overall, I'm impressed with P&D thus far - it's well-presented, simple enough to quickly pick up and play without extensive knowledge of the underlying systems, and is relatively well-balanced such that most players should be able to jump in fairly quickly. The art style is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Visually looks great. But the gameplay isn't there. Battles seems very boring and not interesting. And I already encountered one showstopping bug in not being able to progress to next town even after defeating all enemies and trying to go to the right of the screen.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Meh. That's exactly what comes in mind about this game. Some people compare it with Darkest Dungeon, but beside a vague close graphical style, Path & Danger does not have the depth and atmosphere of Darkest Dungeon. By far! Now that this is out of the way, Path & Danger is not a bad game, but it has some issues that makes is frustrating to play. When I say that, I think about this idiotic path finding. Let me explain. In some areas, there are pits that will damage your team if step onto.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you want to spend half the fight missing your attacks, and them missing their attacks, this game is for you. This combat system is as annoying as darkest dungeon.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It has a lot of annoying quirks and UI designs. It plays like Darkest Dungeon meets Battle Brothers but worse.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute and not bad at its on sale price of $5 but buggy and has significant UI issues My main gripes: After playing once PLEASE let me skip the intro. Combat action is kind of slow even with animation speed turned up No where near enough scenarios. After just a few hrs I can recite all the encounter dialogues as they happen. Overall design is okay and I like the wide variety of classes/powers, but has the not quite finished feel to it.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is clearly an attempt to make some simple Darkest Dungeon like, alas it also borrowed the grinding aspect of DD which is enough for me for a big NO. But anyway the resulting gameplay (simplified Darkest Dungeon) is meh, all variations attempts to differ from Darkest Dungeon are rather inferior, from combats to lite expedition aspects. So overall I can't advise this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Paths & Danger is an enjoyable game for those who love RPG and tactical games. The game's procedural map generation ensures a unique experience with each playthrough, adding an element of surprise to the gameplay. The game's graphics are well-designed and immersive, and the turn-based combat system is easy to understand. However, it's important to note that the game features permadeath, which can be challenging for some players, did not notice any bug, so I guess after this time, is bug free.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Seems a pretty cool game. I like these sort of games. There is a bit of a lack of content and things to achieve, it can get repetitive and boring at times. Its grindy. But i do feel a sense of reward for effort. Iam only playing it on normal and its been very easy so far. Hopefully i will not lose interest and do finish it. I like all the different classes. So far it seems hard to acquire large amounts of gold. I haven't used gems at all. But they dont even seem needed really? Anyway,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yes, many classes to start with, others will appear on the way. There's different abilities to each class. AS you advanced it becomes harder. Will get to it later, when I have more time. 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For $3 on sale, this game is well worth the price, even if you only play for a few hours.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Paths & Danger is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs. This mobile app is laughably bad, it's some clumsily slapped together amateur turn based tactical combat/lightweight RPG game taking place on badly done hex maps with a simplistic yet also unengaging combat system and such deplorably bad quality even the mobile gamers didn't like it, and that's saying a lot, because they loved Flappy Bird. Which tells…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this games pretty bad ass i like it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Seems like the bugs have been ironed out. I haven't encountered any.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game ; enjoyable progression ; not much story ; depends what you're looking for.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Paths & Danger, although it seemed easy at the beginning, really challenged me with its difficulties as it progressed. The fact that each of the character classes offers a different gameplay style and is suitable for different strategies provides a different harmony to the game. The battle system is very satisfying. The graphics are nice, the atmosphere is well done. an interesting experience for strategy and RPG lovers.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Paths & Danger is a rogue-like turn based RPG party game like Battle Brothers (which i very like to play), my first hours for this game was impressive, good graphics, class diversity and a very cheap price for a good game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I quite enjoy the game, I like the varied classes and their skills and feel each one brings something useful. For example I loved when I got the conjurer the first time, for reference his default attack is a conjured sword and then his other 3 abilities are being able to summon a fire, ice and earth elemental who act on their own but are very useful for keeping enemies engaged. What really made me enjoy it was realizing I could morph the conjured sword into a bow at no cost depending on the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the underdog, one of the best turn based games I've ever play it 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lots of fun! It's like a different version of Darkest Dungeon. Lots of cool classes and great illustrations.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Why make it so sluggish? Yes there are animation speed settings, but It takes so long for the computer to decide to do something. Also, Why can my team not just spend a day resting in the tavern after a big fight? Why must there be a mission everyday in order to move to the next day? I don't think this was well thought out.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun game if you are into quick strategy battles with elements of rogue like and a little bit of resources management. The ambiance of the setting is great, the characters complement each other in various ways and the enemies can be very difficult, making all in all a very interesting game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →extremely long load times, everything are slow, the characters? crawl trought the screen cant skip bull, Space helps very little All in all it doesnt feel like a game but an student project. Annoying really, bought on sale less than U$1. Doesnt worth it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trash version of Battle Brothers.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game offers a very enjoyable and strategic experience. The different classes are well balanced, each with their own unique challenges and gameplay style. Initially it feels easy and rewarding, but as you progress the difficulty increases and requires more strategy. While the game lacks some content and feels repetitive, the challenges and reward system are good. Choosing the right resources and upgrades is really important. Overall, highly recommended!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yes, worth my time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Is it good enough? I think it is. The negative reviews seem to be people who want more from it, that's fine, but... Considering you can see what you buying, the game doesn't over promise, but it does over deliver. I bought the game in a Buy Best of Turns bundle here on Steam for 4 bucks and feel I got my monies worth already in the first game. Its not groundbreaking, but it has good mechanics. Light on story moments so far, heavy on combat encounters. I'm playing on easy, and have had no…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Paths & Danger is a tactical, turn-based strategy game developed and published by GoldenGod Games, and it attempts to merge the challenge of roguelike design with the structure of a grid-based RPG. At its core, the game is about survival, planning, and resource management, all within the confines of a dark medieval fantasy world. You control a party of adventurers, each with unique abilities and roles, and are tasked with completing missions across procedurally generated maps filled with enemy…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →tis a good class based rpg with different approaches to battles depending on what u bring
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Feels like DD 2. Battles more fun with hexes, and less unfair boss mechanics. First Impression good :-)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a little unorthodox but a fun game well worth the money i suggest playing it on hard
