unlabelledView post →I started a game called Daymare today. It started out as a fan made RE2 remake long before capcom were planning one...and then it got ceased and desisted and adapted into...this And while It definitely has it's share of jank and cheese, it does a great job with it's atmosphere. Looks good too.

But I have so little energy, and who would read them? Just bots?

I got it on my PS4, and I figure why not give it a shot? It's a love letter to OG RE games! Gonna see about going live in an hour!
unlabelledView post →Just finished #Daymare1998 on #PlayStation 5 (PS4 back compat). I had some expectations for this game but it's kind of a janky mess. It has some neat ideas but also some questionable design choices and overall lack of polish. And no performance enhancements (30fps only).

Still, I'm sure they can puzzle it out. (Characters belong to DarkSunRebel and ChibiNetherlands)

unlabelledView post →Forgot to post this lol Platinum #117 and #30 for 2024 goes to Daymare 1998. This game was undoubtedly inspired by classic Resident Evil games, even featuring a classic survival horror gameplay mode. It was a pretty cool game! I’ll definitely play the prequel sometime!

unlabelledView post →It's kinda my biggest problems with Daymare, the first game was okay aesthetically for me even if the animations were a tad stiff. But the prequel had such a massive jump in graphics that made every stiff animation just stand out for it's detriment.
unlabelledView post →The devs were making an unofficial RE2 remake at first, but then Capcom asked them to drop it…because they were prompted to make an official one by this, and even invited them to the studio for feedback. Then they reworked their game into Daymare. Basically it plays like a lower budget RE2 Remake
unlabelledView post →#Vtuber New Game tonight with Daymare 1998 (Technically not a *New* game since it came out a while ago but this'll be my fist time playing it)
unlabelledView post →for stream today we'll do something i've been meaning to play for a little while, the Steam release of Daymare Town! an old series of flash point and click games from the creator of the Submachine series, another favorite of mine. Unlike the Submachine series though, I have no memory of this place

unlabelledView post →New game pickup. Picked up Daymare 1994 Sandcastle. Now I’ve got both games in the collection. Very happy with this one.
unlabelledView post →No. It’s a game called Daymare 1998. The devs were messing around making an RE2 remake before CapCom announced RE2. CapCom Found out and sent them a cease and desist letter. But told me not to stop making it but change it so it wasn’t RE2. Think the Dev team gets credited in RE2 also.
unlabelledView post →www.twitch.tv/thewintrykni... Return to the Daymare! Played the original game awhile back. But they released a prequel which I'm hoping is LESS jank. But we will see.
unlabelledView post →Daymare 1994 is beaten! Thank you for the prequel @invaderstudios.bsky.social! I'm looking forward to the next Daymare game
unlabelledView post →ew pickup today. Daymare 1998. Been wanting this game for a while. This game started out as a Resident Evil 2 remake until CapCom put a stop to it. But CapCom loved what they seen and convinced the studio to release it as their own IP.

unlabelledView post →Tonight (10/31) I’m starting Daymare: 1998, a survival horror game inspired by the 90s games that popularized the genre.
unlabelledView post →I'm thinking of playing some survival horror games this halloween season. I just finished Daymare 1998. It's very janky, from characters models to the voice acting. I'm also not a fan how the game is cut into set pieces instead of having a big map. But for 3 euros? It was a fun experience!
unlabelledView post →I think it was just a steam release, but I could be wrong. There's a new game on there too, which is stunning, and also he's been working on a steam remaster of the Daymare Town series (although the release is overdue so not sure what's going on with it).
unlabelledView post →Daymare 1998 is a great Resident Evil type game.
unlabelledView post →Been playing Daymare today. Really good game. A solid 7/10. The indoor areas look fantastic and the characters models and gameplay are great. Enemy types ain’t varied but still fun. The biggest issue is when the game goes outside. It starts looking like a PS2 game.
unlabelledView post →"Daymare town" is a point&click game with a really strange and eerie atmosphere and a GREAT hand-drawn scribble visual style was very very charmed by this demo
unlabelledView post →Game 13: Daymare 1994: Sandcastle The game definitely looks better than its predecessor and has more in depth gameplay overall, though I do miss combining ammo with empty mags from the original. Teleporting enemies have always been a peeve of mine, but that's no fault of this game.
unlabelledView post →Hello Bluesky Im about to going Live at: twitch.tv/fluffy_tiamat. Hope to see you there. Today game is DAYMARE 1998.
unlabelledView post →Platinum Trophy 188: Daymare 1998 A loving tribute to resident evil (particularly 2) but quite rough round the edges. I ended up playing through this 4 times due to various glitches, thankfully its a short game.
unlabelledView post →Next, BEST RERELEASE OF A FLASH GAME WITH REALLY DISTINCTIVE ART DAYMARE TOWN is another of my absolute favorite games this year. not just a remake, but instead takes 4 different point and click games and turns them into one world with interconnected puzzles. i ADORE how this one looks. Incredible
unlabelledView post →for stream tonight, we're returning to Daymare Town and picking up where we left off! not sure how long the whole game is but there is a chapter 3 and 4 so 50% or less? starting soon ™️
unlabelledView post →A fun Easter Egg in Daymare 1994 Sandcastle. It's a fun game that was originally a fan remake of RE2.
unlabelledView post →Going live right now over on www.twitch.tv/lewry with our horror game for the weej #Daymare:1994Sandcastle I know very little about this game other than it gives me resident evil vibes so lets check it out. #VTuber #ENVTuber #VSky #Twitch
unlabelledView post →I've finally gotten around to downloading the remastered version of Daymare Town and I have to say that the creepy vibes of this fantastically hand-drawn game is perfect for October. (I'm only partway through Chapter 3 right now.)
unlabelledView post →I’ve got others, but they’re more tailored. Daymare 94 and Daymare 98 play like clones or RE2 and RE3 remakes. Inscription is a tcg deck builder horror game. It’s good. Faith is the scariest damn game I’ve ever played, and it looks like an Atari 2600 game.

unlabelledView post →I've relegated myself to playing barrel scraping from my gog account cus my steam backlog scares me. Picked a game i can really describe as "we Have RE2 remake 4th survivor at home " Daymare 1998.
unlabelledView post →Atm I'm playing Daymare 1998. Even they say it's a love letter to PS1 players but it's also a low budget Resident Evil 2 remake filled with easter eggs and bad voice acting just add the 90s video game vibes
unlabelledView post →New Daymare Town coming on Steam for escape fans 😃
unlabelledView post →Daymare 1994:Sandcastle(07-25)* Score:6.5/10 I wish Invader didn't rush to make a Lethal Company clone. This game was solid, but a little shallow. And the last half hour is a little...out there. I wanted to replay this before I replayed Daymare 1998, and it was still fun to play despite it's flaws.
unlabelledView post →I have a personal observation I call the Knife problem in puzzle/escape room games, which is when the game gives you a tool that is seemingly destructive in a general way, a player is inclined to try it in many situations. A lock? A box? Knife it. A small animal? Knife it. (game is "Daymare Town"
