Lots of stuttering and the game crashed every time I went into the menu, which made the game unplayable. This seems to be the cause for many of the negative reviews. I fixed all of the issues by setting the max frames for the game to 60 in my Nvidia control panel. After the first one, I expected a similar game, but there are a lot more RPG elements that make each upgrade you get feel very insignificant. This game's story is good, but it only gives you continues after doing a series of collecting 3 of X thing. By the end, despite skipping no side quests, I felt like all the enemies were spongy and I just wanted it to end. I much preferred the first game.

You need to lock it to a lower framerate for it to work properly, and then some of the balance really incentivizes you to play in a not fun way. Health being restored by consumables that have a random drop chance is a major drag. That being said, there is a lot of really cool stuff in this game and if it ever got patched to be playable without messing with graphics card settings, I would recommend it for the unique feel of the story, and the fun zelda-like puzzles.
