negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are millions of puzzle-platformers about squares, even the red ones, not to mention 'Super Meat Boy'. But you should forget about the action hussle approaching this one, actually it is not a platformer at all, just a meditative designer timing puzzle where you have just 2 buttons to control back and forth movement, pure minimalizm. You have to be in a special place in a special moment of time to traverse your path here. The authors probably got their inspiration from suprematism and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has lots of mixed reviews - some of them praise it, some of them hate it. It actually costs 4$/€, so it's not even that cheap. Some users called this game pretentious, since the story looks random and shallow with little effort employed in the graphical sector, while the gameplay itself isn't really even an arcade/puzzle - rather, it's just a simple platformer with few movement options. Other users praise the abstract artwork, the minimalistic environment, the relaxing atmosphere and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I usually do not like to use this word, but this game is extremely pretentious. The "story" is basically randomly selected stock footage with thoughtful-ish text and a fancy instagram filter layed over it. But that would be forgivable if the gameplay was any good. Spoiler alert: it isn't. The game advertizes itself as a puzzle-arcade. But the controls are too restricted for an engaging arcade gameflow. You can only move along a straight line left or right and occasionally up or down. For a…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, my friend gifted me this game as a joke based on 'Name the first game you see that you can't afford with steam wallet'. I named Cubway after dismissing it just a few moments before during my search. I didn't have to play it but I did. I am so glad I played Cubway. I intended to only play it once so I cranked it up to hard. It started simple, sure, but it got harder. At times it frustrated me but I carried on through endless death and rebirth, suffering, searching for release. I found…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is all about timing and device control (controller/keyboard/mouse, whichever you choose). You move your little square around the screen avoiding the obstacles. You need a delicate touch. Aesthetics Minimal visuals and gentle, atmospheric music during gameplay along with only a couple of timed levels makes it a nice relaxing experience with no pressure. Cross-platform which, as a Linux user, is always a big plus for me. Being in Windows makes me permanently irritated. Each level has a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the atmosphere and the pictures. The music is wonderful. Then again, the game itself is repeat of trial & error. I'm not sure if I would recommend this as soothing and healing game, as this game evokes the opposite. Unless you find tranquility in the fact that no matter what we do, we always have a vague hope to change the outcome but likely fail a ton before.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had thought that the game was going to be an artsy, "go with the flow", meditative zen-like experience where getting into the zone will allow you to rhythmically flow to the end point. It was actually rather simplistic, pressing one button to move your thing across a screen in a particular direction until something triggers, and sometimes just frustratingly trying to race across the screen before a triggered event sealed off an exit, forcing you to try again and again and again and.... all…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Incredible brutal puzzles, but very satisfying once you complete them.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was pleasently surprised by this little indie game. I was given a key by the developers, and after watching the trailer was intrigued enough to make a short video on it (will link at the end). If you enjoy games that work on IOS and phone's, you'll be familiar with the game style. Pros: - Great art style. - Fairly consistent difficulty curve. - It's $5, low risk. - Fairly decent at teaching you new mechanics as you complete more and more levels. Cons: - No idea what the quotes are about,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's so calming and aggrivating and beautiful and frustrating at the same time. Great job :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short: Great challenge, simple but effective graphics and sounds. But nothing "more" profound then that I feel Long Review: https://youtu.be/VIxtKoN2WTM
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You don't need to beat the entire game in order to get all the achievements, but it's totally worth it if you do!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stylish looks, but the trial and error gameplay with failure constantly restarting you makes this a no-go for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trial & error game with only 2 buttons fun for 10 mins then boring
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A neat little puzzle game with interesting visual design and simple gameplay. A lot of trial and error, which can be frustrating at times but it's still enjoyable and definitely worth getting when on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Generally a good game. The music is a little boring.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic meditative title to play, relax and overcome some tough-but-not-frustrating challenges. Metastory behind each level and the whole journey idea is also nice!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a good indie title, with an impressive presentation. Good graphical style with a really fascinating and immersive soundscape. The game itself is simplistic (until the point I played) where you just control a square with two mouse buttons left and right. You must traverse your way through obstacles and have to have patience (at least sometimes). I don't get the story, but maybe it reveals the inner beings after more playing, that I will definitely do! I recommend this game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A simple yet addicting game, with beautiful visuals, relaxing music and vague yet interesting plot going on.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cubway is a unique, aesthetically pleasing puzzle game. The art style and soundtrack are fantastic and the puzzles are quite challenging. I enjoyed playing it and liked the loose story that tied it all together. If you like puzzle games and abstract ambiance, definitely check it out. https://youtu.be/Aten-Xf0meg
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such great music, and an amazing atmosphere, its a whole new, perspective and I enjoyed it, I urge that anybody can find something they like about this game! here's my Experience with the game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drZrtpl3xPc
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →easily one of the worst games ive ever played in my entire life is this game supposed to be relaxing, or ragebait? the music and atmosphere says the first, yet the horrendous gameplay says the second. i've wanted to see more people play this, but now i understand why nobody plays this nonsense. im literally on easy mode and level 52 i swear requires near frame perfects plus the gameplay is just a heavily worse version of JS&B and GD there needs to be INDICATORS, checkpoints, something. skill or…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a port from mobile game and sometimes feels weird. Whole game based on specific mechanic, sounds visual expressions and quotes covering the story of the red dot. Some levels could be really challenging. Overall experience was good and I could recommend play this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Level 44 was kind of nice
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →nice game i will come back with full review.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a well presented game with pleasing if simple graphical design and a nice atmosphere (even if the messages between levels can make you feel like you are being preached to by Xavier Renegade Angel at times), but there are some flaws: -Some levels force you to wait several seconds before getting in to them which ramps up frustration a huge amount. -Sometimes the timings and distances are incredibly tight on boring sections, its made worse because it seems like this wasnt made for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow! I never knew that an arcade game could be this philosophical, simple, beautiful and challenging! Everything looks beautiful, interesting, conceptual. Very relaxing experience, feels more like meditation than a game sometimes :) Game mechanics themselves are very simple and nice, but it's the artsiness and style that is the most attractive element of this game for me. Loved the photographs and the quotes. Would love to see another installment of this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A beautiful puzzler with fantastic ambience and entrancing music! I've never been one for anything "abstract", but this game proves to me that abstract can be a fun time. It's a very chill atmosphere, and very simple to play. Even though I was given a key to review this game, what you get for the more than fair price is phenomenal! You can find my video review here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IcIYrF04HTg Thanks for oppurtunity Armed Nomads! Keep up the great work!
