positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Creepy Road is beautiful game, unfortunately the gameplay does not live up to it's visual quality. As far as the art in this game, the art style, the animations - It's incredible!. One of the nicest looking games I've seen in a long time. So gorgeous. The main problem is the everything else. The game seems like a beautified flash game. It's too simple, go to the right and shoot the guys. They will come in from left or right, sometimes above. One huge issue is you can't fire diagonally at all.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Creepy Road Creepy Road is a stylish game with some hilariously grotesque and funny horror visuals, but does the classic side-scrolling run'n'gun action compare to the off-the-wall action of games like Battletoads or Comix Zone? Its definitely a little different, but I think it holds its own! Gameplay A classic sidescrolling run'n'gun with a deliberately steady pace but a whole lot of colorful and goofy chaos on a single screen. The "Danger!" sections of Creepy Road's stages almost feel like…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/32732116-IndieGems/]Follow our curator page: IndieGems for more reviews. Creepy Road is a “run & gun” side-scroller. You run through the level, picking up different weapons while enemies attack you from all sides of the screen. After every few levels, there is a boss fight. It sounds pretty fun but Creepy Road is too much of a mixed bag to recommend. On one hand, it has colorful 2D graphics. Character art is especially good. There are boss battles…

Creepy Road: ~~~~~~~~~~ Flint is what you would call an ordinary truck driver. He picks up goods from one place and drives 100’s of kilometres to deliver it to another place. This time around, his load is pickled sardines, and there is nothing fishy about it. This is his last load of the day before going home to the love of his life, the sweet Angelina. Out of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Скриншоты манят, не правда ли?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Funny game. It's fun, because it has a bunch of humor and various jokes. Cartoon characters, monsters are very funny. A girl with a self-stick is very much like my girlfriend. I also want to note that the developers are releasing patches and updates for this product, so this is not a one-time shooter. Developers support life in this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am currently still playing this game nearing the end, however the game is amazing. It's cheap and has a pretty good amount of content for the price. It's very well optimized and has beautiful, gorgeous hand-drawn graphics ( beats out Castle Crashers and Viking Squad on hand-drawn graphics ). The world Groovy Milk has created is awesome! It's more difficult than I expected which adds more replayability and value to it for me. ( Gameplay/Review Video Below ) Pros; Beautiful Graphics Cool Main…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Full review found here: https://thegamehoard.com/2019/10/10/the-haunted-hoard-creepy-road-pc/ Looks can be deceiving when it comes to Creepy Road. The exaggerated cartoon look, enemy designs, and powerful weapons would all be great in some other game, but they are shackled here to a plethora of poor design decisions. Bosses are drawn out battles about memorization more than action, regular enemies are often clumped together beyond reason or placed in areas they’re likely to get cheap shots on…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What an absolute disaster of a game, this game is a mess in everything other than its presentation. The story is kinda fun, and the art style is attractive, reminds of John Kricfalusi style from Ren and Stimpy. Everything about the design of this game however is inherently wrong, this extends beyond my opinion, it is just simply not a good game. The controls are incredibly stiff for starters, it is one of those games that requires you to take a second for each action, there's never enough…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cool game. Monsters are beautifully drawn. The game has a lot of humor. Played all night without stopping. I liked very much that there are different game modes.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The best game ive played in years.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You control a horrifying redneck on a blood simple 2D romp through beautifully hand-drawn levels. No co-op, no bells and whistles, the action is as simple as you imagine by watching the trailer. Sometimes, that is exactly what you need.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Get ready for graphical amusement of Creepy Road and RAGE QUITs! This Awesome Game, provides great graphics and good fun. This is every speed runner and side scroller dream game! The idea is simple, get though the stages without dying or at least the next checkpoint if possible and take out the Boss with whatever weapons you have pick-up along the way. But remember to conserve your ammo and health as it is limited and you will need every little bit of it along the way.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really inarticulate gameplay. Even if you ignore how imbalanced the combat generally is, it's still generic button pressing. Unfortunately developers have yet to figure out as a whole that gameplay which involves enemies being thrown at the player in ridiculous swarms, and combat that is just button pressing so basic you could code the computer to do it for you; is not and never will be fun to humans with an attention span greater then that of a young child. Because this is one of those games…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Huge hordes of enemies. Only have time to kill these creatures. Very interesting to play the game. The game is like a comic, everything looks so lively and beautiful. You definitely should try it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Creepy Road is a pretty good action side scroller game, so now its story time. You play as a trucker named Flint, after getting back from a delivery he heads home to his town of Dustburg not just to catch the circus but to see his beloved Angelina. But then as he is driving a psycho bear jumps out and makes him crash his truck, having serviced he must go to the circus and see if his loved one is safe all the why’ll fighting madman and monsters. Okay so what’s there to like about the game,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tried this on Hard mode. Ended up trying Easy Mode. Yah; right... Got to a part in the game that I couldn't get past and got tired of figuratively, "bashing my head into a wall".
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the amount of enemies this game throws at you is utterly disgusting. the controls feel clunky as hell and make it nearly impossible to get anything done. not to mention some of the weapons don't even work the way they should, I mean the shotgun should be an insta kill at point blank range but for some reason it can't hit enemies from that distance. overall it just feels like the game is completely unfair...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple Side Scrolling Shooter with good humor. Graphics and sound are nice, the gameplay is a bit repetitive though. A multiplayer mode would be really cool.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I spent 3.7 hours in game on normal mode, and I was at the koala boss when I stopped. First, I want to point out the positives of this game. The visuals and art style are nice, music and sound effects are a mix between decent and comical, which in this case is a good thing since the story is intentionally comical. I also really like the animations. The gameplay, however, is where the bad creeps in. Iffy hitboxes and platforms make a lot of the gameplay feel clunky. Checkpoints are spread…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The style of humor & art in this game are great. Has a very Earthworm Jim aesthetic to it, which I love. However, the rest of the game lacks horribly. Poor level design, clunky controls, and bad hit-detection all contribute to this games shortcoming. It features one of the SLOWEST auto-scrolling levels I've ever seen. You'd think this would make things easier, but quite the opposite, since you can't react to what's shooting at you from off-screen. The constantly recycled dialogue from all the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awful. Nuff Said.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Creepy Road is a weird one, that's for sure. Pros: - The game looks really nice, it's got that old timey flash game aesthetic which is what intrigued me to buy it because I used to binge the hell out of those games. Cons: - Poor gunplay. Can't really tell when you are damaging enemies. There isn't enough feedback that you are hitting enemies besides a red flash. - Enemy animations aren't synced very well so it's hard to know when you're actually getting hit - Poor onboarding. Tutorial is…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun game with charactor. The art style is entertaining and the game seems to be a good value for only $9.99. I was lucky enough to get a copy for free but if I had paid $9.99 for it I would still be pleased with the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Solid and brutally drawn action-filled single player experience taking you on an unexpected trek through twisted environments all with one purpose, finding out what happened to your beloved one! Creepy Road has everything you'd like to see in one of those great action side-scrolling games - a huge arsenal of weapons, dynamic combat, lots of brutal explosions and tricky ways of taking down your enemies, making the game quite challenging in its easiest mode. One of the things that impressed me…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Metal Slug likely, but it's harder. Will get bored after few tries. Control isn't that smooth, standard 2D graphic. well, don't expect too much for a cheap game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Creepy Road is like stepping into a wild, twisted cartoon world where chaos reigns. The art is next level—like a comic book drawn by a mad genius. Every detail is packed with so much personality, you can’t help but be sucked in. You’re thrown into crazy environments full of traps and enemies, and those boss fights? They’ll have you sweating, testing your reflexes and strategy with each new level of insanity. If you’re into games that do their own thing, Creepy Road is a total breath of fresh…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun game. Played it on my GPD Win 2. Really nice. Some moments are kind of not logical but in general - plays fast and relaxing. Also, some achievements are broken. That sucks. And it does not look like developers will repair them.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not worth buying. Can be difficult to play, especially without a controller.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You must be a fan of side shroller shoot em up and juming on the right time, if you want to play this game! Visually very appealing and fun to play! The makers have done a great job in making this game! Thumbs up for the development team!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Featured in my Lost on Steam Feature! Rather just check the video instead of read? Me too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7k5DqnomM0 I started a new short segment called "Lost on Steam" which features games that have few reviews for one reason or another. Definitely not necessarily negative, just games that slipped by people. This is one of the featured games this week! Creepy Road is an eccentric new age flash game. It's a cartoon version of Metal Slug X if it was done by a cartoonist…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I couldn't get through much of this game. Hit detection was ruff, at best. Your health gets depleted so fast and enemies don't react the way you think they would to attacks. It's possible that I just at this Creepy Road and that's that, but even when getting passed a difficult area, it never felt rewarding. I was attracted to this game's brand of humor, art style, and run n' gun mechanics. After noticing that the begging voice over script didn't match up with the words on the comic book…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →http://www.hardcoregames.biz/creepy-road/ not a bad platformer, lots of action but a controller is easier to play the game with easy system requirements too
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →not balanced at all.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I lOVED and HATED this game so much. I think that it it's charm. The art is wonderful, the enmeis are hillrious, and the levels are well made. Some are a bit too much after repeating the same level 10 times, but thats the point. The levels are creative and different enough to not fell repetitive AFTER you beaten the level. The bosses are NO JOKE! The first 2 are warm ups compared to the latter ones. Took more at least an hour to defeat some. It comes with the same satisfaction of defeating a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As far as Run & Gun side scrollers go Creepy Road is just ace! From the loveable Flint Trucker to the challenging gameplay and diverse range of weapons and enemies to mow down, I couldn’t recommend the game highly enough. It’s like the love child of Redneck Rampage and Metal Slugs but with a Ren and Stimpy like art style! Pros- -Beautiful hand drawn graphics -Intresting Storyline and funny humour -Flint himself (He’s not your run of the mill trucker!) -Fun, addictive gameplay -A variety of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Between the cool visuals and a wonderfully varied assortment of guns, there are things to like...xD
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm always keen on trying new games so when I was offered this game I gave it a go, I should however have read the fine print. A controller is a must, not a suggestion as you have no way of changing keyboard controls in the game. There might be a config file for it but ingame no options to see, reminds me a bit of cuphead in some ways from what I've seen of it. If you like the genre of side scrollers I'd say go for it, otherwise it's probably not a game for you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →one of the better games Ive played this year humor infested zombie battles and nicely animated backdrops enemies that form a decent challenge make tis game a must have the music is so so to be honest and the sound effects are decent but the addicitive gameplay is where it shines a true fun pick up and play game the levels weapons and pick ups are pretty decent and the pace of the game is well done no dull moments I recommended this game because I enjoyed it a lot and intend on playing it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is freaking awesome! It really brings is the joy of hardcore gameplay of good old days, where you need to have skill to progress. The artwork also looks amazing and i like twisted design of the characters. Tottaly would by again! 10/10!
