The physics model is laughable, the AI drivers are completely on rails and the visuals would have seemed dated in 2003. Still, it only manages to run at 40 frames per second at most regardless of hardware because the programming is so, so poor. The concept and the ideas are actually interesting and the management aspect could have been a nice mechanic. But as it is, it's just unplayable.

The game is horribly unoptimised, the traffic AI is insane and there are tons of bugs that can make missions unfinishable (such as bins spawning inside buildings). I paid two euros for this back in the day as it was on a sale, but even at that price it's probably not worth it (unless you're a masochist).

Unfortunately, for all of the vehicles in this game, there is no in-cab or cockpit view of inside the cabin. That is a huge let-down for me. If it had an in-cab view, I would recommend this game, but sadly because of that, I recommend the game as 'No'. Improvements must be made, CityConomy. 2.5 - 5 stars from me.

It could be so much more than what it is and I think would shine if given more polish, deserving seat next to EuroTruck Simulator. I'd say give it a go while it's on sale and be a little forgiving for a game that tried its best to create a municipal truck simulator.
