Feel free to write out an EULA/ToS establishing said rights, but in the meantime this review will stand to inform players what you're intentionally choosing to obfuscate. Meanwhile,…

Tons of viable builds, awesome crafting possibilities and lots of action wait in this game for you. I love ARPGs like Grim Dawn and WH40K Martyr, and this one can stand proudly with them.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very much Diablo II Lite, without the Online Multiplayer, basically no story, and more pixeled graphics. It's a pretty good game for a small team or one guy, but the Very Positive reviews feel a bit overhyped for what this game does. There's a lot of options with builds, masteries, and end game difficulties, but the end game is really just endless loot grind with random dungeons that feels a bit pointless. The end of the campaign is super anti-climactic, and the end boss dies in 7 seconds on…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is incredible! It let me play with my son on the same PC and supported each of us having our own controller on a shared screen. We had so many laughs, playful arguments about picking up each other's gear or using the shared pool of runes ("stealing" from each other). Reminded me of what gaming used to be like. There is a lot of joy and designer skill to be found in this title. The options menu is also worth a major shout. Let us customize our UI, loot filters, and so many aspects in…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is the proof that you don't need a tripple A studios to make a good and addictive game. One that delivers what it sent out to do. A cool game that I still can have to resist the urge to call in sick so I can play more.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Campaign was fun, the progression is smooth and there is some nice and accessible crafting systems, with way more in the endgame. There was great potential BUT unfortunately I hated the endgame gameplay. Basically most of the game modes require you to clear some mobs in a map to create a portal and move forward. The problem is that you often need to backtrack like crazy to fill the quota, and boy it doesn't feel good. Clearing 80% of the map but having to go in that annoying corner on the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a pretty good single player ARPG with endless an endless endgame. Gameplaywise compareable to D3 i guess. The single player aspect enables tons of quality of life features, which are not included to that degree in competing games. This includes auto cast, auto loot with lootfilter, saveing builds and free respecs. The dev is really nice and open to constructive feedback on the games discord.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Once you realize the endgame is the exact same cycle over and over, with almost zero loot variation, the game becomes incredibly stale and boring. All you do is grind for mastery (paragon) levels at endgame to improve one of the few working endgame builds, which all require some variation of health or mana scaling. There are a couple items that turn either your HP or mana into damage, so they become the only viable options later on to continue scaling your character, which is very evident the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →god-tier aRPG with couch co-op. Other aRPGs can't really touch this game, so you're probably going to feel like all your favorite aRPGs of all time are trash after a week of playing this. You've been warned. This game needs to sell more so it can get a proper sequel with better refined pixel graphics (to keep the same spirit as the original) maybe some better cover art and a sick soundtrack.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I tried the game since I heard good things about it, but unlike other ARPGs I have trouble seeing what's around me and where my attacks are landing. Melee attack animations staying the same no matter in which direction you attack (except for a small "scratch" appearing over where your attack really lands) don't help, nor do the very small enemies (bats, arachnids) the game likes to throw at you in droves. To make things worse, my character's main power makes some orbiting rocks appear around…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nicely made but quite boring. Just running around pressing one button and spamming aoe... No requirement for thinking, strategizing, skill expression, nothing. Just press 1 button.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best ARPG that I played. Really engaging and with a lot of content, easy to play kinda hard to master if aiming for the perfect build. Had a lot of fun and every character seems to be balanced to at least have fun with the ones that I played with.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TLDR: Deep build variety, excellent QoL features, and a satisfying endgame that shames titles with far bigger budgets, this ARPG punches well above its weight. PROS: ➕Impressive game options - loot filter(!), GUI scaling, health bars+scaling, damage numbers+scaling, everything a fluent ARPG player needs, it's here ➕Excellent traversal/hub ➕Excellent build potential across classes ➕Multiple classes ➕Expansive endgame CONS: ➖Levels are fairly repetitive with no logical build structure (a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For me this was a solid snack-sized ARPG. It’s noticeably an indie game: controls and UI are a bit janky, and moment-to-moment combat can get visually noisy. If you try to play it like a traditional “stop and evaluate every drop” ARPG, it doesn’t feel great because there's too much ground loot of low value. The game really clicked once I leaned into its intended flow: keep moving, keep killing, and use the loot filter aggressively to avoid interrupting myself. Once I filtered down to…

unlabelledView post →sorry for not being active for a couple of days ive been playing this game and holy shit is it good other than a rather small ui its really good #gaming #Chronicon #indiegame
unlabelledView post →Great ARPG with a lot of content, interesting loot and set items. Each class got 5 skill trees with always respec option. Cheap and no Microtransactions.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrible, the worst thing is the gameplay. There's an annoying delay between attacking and moving that makes the game incredibly frustrating, and then there's the very slow kill time. The fact that the game isn't free makes the situation absolutely worse because comparing it to Path of Exile 1 makes it impossible to understand why you're playing Chronicon. However, even comparing it to pixelated ARPGs that aren't free doesn't help, like The Slormancer where the combat is snappy, there are…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →insanely good on steam deck
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a painfully boring ARPG with a forgettable scenery/story and one dimensional combat. only buy on heavy sale if you're interested.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So overrated. Repetitive as hell, makes it feel like endless fever dream. Neither AAA devs nor Indie devs understand, that detailed and customized progression is not everything, that makes the genre satisfying and engaging
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Chronicon is an excellent game and a hidden gem. Sure, gameplay / combat is a bit basic / clunky and the story simple and basic but everything else is top notch for an indie game. It has lot of content and it is highly replayable. When compared to other indie games like Hero Siege, i think this one easily beats it because of quality, sure Hero Siege has more content (especially with DLCs) but quality (even though an enjoyable but very flawed game because of the developer who keeps screwing up…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I returned Diablo 4 for this game, and I couldn't be happier! I think we can all agree that Diablo III was a work of art. I was very let down when I spent 75+ on Diablo 4 only to find out that I couldn't play with my wife and son..................Returned. Enter Chronicon the pixilated reincarnation of Diablo III. I'm so impressed at the depth of each characters skill trees. It really allows for my team (My wife, son and myself) to hone in on our strategy and build our characters as…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recommended as a game, but NOT recommended for 100% completion. Chronicon is a good ARPG with a lot of variety and plenty of content to explore. Horewer, the completion requirements turn the game into an enormous grind. 100% steam achievements Time : 104.2H Completion Difficulty : 6/10 Playthroughs : Many - extensive grinding and progression across all classes Missables : None DLC Required : Yes Guide Reqcommended : Yes for 100% Notable requirements : Reach the maximun level with every class,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is not an inherently terrible video game, it's just better described as a poor man's version of Grim Dawn, which is a poor man's version of old-school Diablo and Path of Exile. In essence, it's for people who want to play one of those aforementioned video games but perhaps lack a PC capable of meeting hardware requirements and so they settle with this title instead, or because they have a scratch that needs itching and have played every other ARPG title and want something new to conquer.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What can i say? I just didnt like it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game. Took years for me to finally get into it, glad I did.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TLDR: If you like ARPGs, crafting, build diversity, endgame, LOOT, zoomy bullet hell combat, endless progression -- BUY THIS GAME! As a veteran player of ARPGs, dating back to the OG Diablo 1 -- I gotta say that Chronicon should be on every ARPG enjoyers list. It's a top 5 for me personally, and truly remarkable. Itemization is extensive. There are tons of different items, rares, uniques, legendaries, crafting materials, potions, elixirs, vials, scrolls.. There are even elixer injectors and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Repetitive, spongy enemies (and you are spongy too). Mostly just waiting for monsters to die to go to the next one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Several magnitudes than Diablo 4 for 1/4 the price. What more do you need to know?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun and addicting ARPG - got it on a pretty deep discount and glad I did. If you are looking for something akin to drugs I recommend checking it out.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very enjoyable ARPG in the vein of Diablo 3. Not super deep (at least not in the early post-game), but enough variety to tune your character for a lot of unique builds. I think it's definitely worth the price tag.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Chronicon is an action RPG that brings a refreshing energy to the genre through its colorful pixel art and deep customization options. Developed by Subworld, the game invites players into a sprawling world filled with procedurally generated dungeons and a variety of classes to master. Though it may not have the polish or scale of some bigger-budget titles, Chronicon’s gameplay hooks you with its focus on experimentation and player choice, making it an engaging experience from start to finish.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great arpg, sometimes a little clunky, a lot of things to grind for while being working adult compatible
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played alot of Arpg's. This is a great game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great simple fun game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →cheap death Edit: My fault, can't just expect to beat Mythic 3 with negative resistances and come unscathed . Good simple pixel art game, cosy areas like snowfields in the dark while lighting bonfires in a chill music, I love cosiness like that 10/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun but kind of old game! It plays similarly to Hero Siege or the Slormancer!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great ARPG, feels like a mix between Diablo 2 and 3. Killing hordes of enemies and tons of loot drops make it incredibly satisfying despite simple graphics, chunky sound effect really carrying it. You have some decent variety in builds for every character. The only thing that really sucks about Chronicon is that multiplayer is local only, you can play through remote play but it's not ideal solution.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a hidden gem. Not many talk about this one, but if you like isometric aprg with build diversity, this is one of the best out there.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game was fun to play a while ago, but a recent update has completely screwed up the graphics rendering of it, making it impossible to play.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is incredible, some of the best loot ever. Tons of fun, I wasn't sure if I liked the set style at first but I definitely do after all. This and grim dawn are basically the only arpgs you need currently
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Better than Diablo 3 and 4. No jokes here. Enjoy it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ARPG masterpiece. I'd put this on par with Grim Dawn. Please make a sequel.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →for a 5 bucks game, 300% better than "Diablo III Remake: IV of Diablo"
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Retry-style Diablo style ARPG. I've had more fun with the skills and gear of this game, than most other top ARPG's.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Maybe I've been spoiled by other ARPG's just feeling super polished at the start, and I almost refunded this game after 15 minutes. But then as I was going to bed I thought: "I wonder if that item two lvl's from now will make me pop Coach" And we are so back, we are cooking, this game makes my Autism P U L S E. I'm here for everything the game has to offer. I love the 2D graphics and don't care about needing a 3D world. I will update my review once I make it to endgame on my Poison shot…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →addiction completed! numbers have gone brrr all content has been cleared bottleneck for map clearing speed became processor cuz numbers got out of hand awesome game 10/10 highly recommended works well on weaker systems
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Despite Pixel Graphics this game can give more than Diablo 3 + Path of Exile power without any of micro transactions. Is it fun yes, is it anything you can find on AAA titles, hell no. Why? Cuz this gives you powers that any other AAA games refuses cuz you will be overpowered. This game gives you that kind POWER fantasy you always wished for but afraid to ask.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun little game but its strengths lie in mechanics not the story or art. While art is serviceable, story is just there to keep you moving. Not an inherently bad thing but it could have used some love as the rest of the parts. That said, mechanisms in this game are very well done. There are plenty of synergies and different play styles. I didn't finish the game yet and I can see people complaining about endgame being too much of a grind. Personally, even if that is the case, I don't…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A cheap 2D Diablo like game that has a ton of content. Most will never see it all but it is there for anyone interested.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game to play stoned with ur friends
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Here's some old screenshots of the development of #Chronicon! Starting off with a gamejam game in 2014 that would eventually turn into Chronicon
unlabelledView post →Chronicon has a surprising amount of depth, charm and replayability. It starts slow like most games in this genre, but quickly makes you feel like a power house. The art style is nice, the game controls well and feels like it has more love and care put into it than the AAA titles out there (looking at you diablo and whatever it is you have become). I have only played for 7 hours as of writing this review but have made it to 55 on my warlock and I am in Act 3. When i play, I constantly find…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I want to like this sooooo badly, but this game just lacks weight in its attacks. I played about 15 minutes of it, and in those 15 minutes I fought 20 - 40 enemies, all of which I was just waving my sword around while the game told me I was doing damage and that felt just awful. I am gonna keep this game, and keep trying to see if this game lands with me eventually because It's an indie dev, but man did does it suck that combat feels so awful right off rip, and that will probably continue to be…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't let the style fool you, this is a very deep ARPG. It leans somewhat into "survivors-like" territory as it has very high mob density and fast area clearing mechanics, but more character building and loot that typical survivor games. A great time killer especially on the Steam Deck.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →diablo like with many customizations: skill trees, items, item sets, tinkering in multipe ways with items, pets, so on. yes its a bit grindy at the end, but the endgame is almost the main part of the game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Genuinely one of the best arpgs I have ever played, if you like arpgs this game is worth your time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really a fun game!!
