What people are saying
A cute, addictive card game with strategic depth, but buggy UI and limited replayability.
Players praise the game's charm and addictive nature, calling it a "cute, fun game with good graphics and effects" and noting it's surprisingly good and addictive. The strategic depth is also appreciated, with one player noting you really have to think ahead for your next moves. [1][26][29]
However, many criticize the buggy user interface, with one player reporting "the right panel often fails to scroll" and another noting "very buggy UI" that makes it unresponsive. Some also find the game too grindy for completionists and limited in replayability due to a lack of expansions or online multiplayer. [35][16][15][22]

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At the start it looks really dumb, but it ends up being one of those "just one more try, it doesn't take long (about 5 - 10 minutes). And suddenly, its much later than you were planning. Quick, cute, fun game with good graphics and effects. And a lot harder than it looks.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An addictive card game with cats. You come across the Cad Lady club and you want to be part of it. To prove your worth, you have to play a game of cards with the ladies there. (Psst! These ladies are tough! I could only beat the boys in the club!) PROS: - Cute scenes and cards; - Casual relaxing music; - Feed and adopt cats; - Collect toys and costumes; - Trophy room; - Choose the versus one player or versus all players mode; - You can invite a friend to play together; - Obtainable…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Desperately needs a story mode. As is it's basically solitaire, unless you have friends who play, but it's about as much fun as old school card games, so getting friends to play often isn't really a thing. So in the end it's just endless solitaire where nearly all the achievements are based purely on the fact you kept playing not that you actually did anything particularly impressive. For this type of game it's also very disappointing there are no steam trading cards.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I own the physical version of this game and have played it with my wife a few times. This is a great video game adaptation of the physical card game. The art and sound effects are cute and thematically appropriate. It's quick to learn, quick to play, and the in-game tutorial is really well done. There is only one thing that stops me from recommending this. At any time during the game, you can click another player's name to see what cards they have, but once the game is scored you no longer…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a very fun, absurdly cute card game. Easy to learn, but hard to master! There are lots of different mechanics to learn and manage, plus different game modes that introduce new levels of challenge, different unique cats with special powers to collect, and fun achievements to earn. 10/10 My only complaint is that the opponent in challenge mode is simply named "A Cat Lady". Really??? You could have named her Lady Kat of Fluffiness, Duchess Whiskers McSnugglebutt, Master Eleanor of the…

You have to change your strategies depending on how many players are playing against you. Also the AI is quite smart so its pretty challening to beat them regularly. There are minor bugs for the UI for scrolling up/down in your inventory or sometimes it doesnt register your click instantly but nothing which would break the game or annoy me too much. 100% Achievements are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is great and fun. But the UI is very buggy. Sometimes when you want to feed the cat, it is unresponsive - you have to close the cat card, click it again, then try to feed. But the biggest problem is that, the right panel often fails to scroll. You can't scroll to top or bottom, and are locked in the middle. This means, sometimes you can't view the top row of your cats. These UI bugs are ruining this game which could have been perfect.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Achievement Difficulty: 4/10 NOTICE: There is only one difficult achievement where you have to win 100 Times against 1 strong NPC it is just RNG and it takes some time Bugs: there were not achievement based bugs for me Time till 100%: ~14h Other: You can 100% the Game alone
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ingenious game... I nominate for a cat-oscar!!! Geniales Spiel... Das nominiere ich für einen Katzen-Oskar!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Find cat. Feed cat. It meows cutely. Scramble to give it everything it wants. The game. (I don't even care if I win or lose... I just want to collect, feed and love all the cats!!! >.>)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cats & Card games, what more can I ask for? The premise of the game is to win a match by obtaining the highest score against your opponents through feeding cats, collecting costumes and toys. Achievement-wise, 29/31 of the achievement are easily obtainable ranging from completing the tutorials as well as collecting different cats, toys and costumes. To obtain the 100% achievement as a "Crazy Cat Lady", one must win at least 100 times against the Cat Lady in challenge mode and boy did it take…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cat Lady - The Card Game: Add more cats to your hand! After learning the basics you hop right in and start battling cat ladies for lovely cats, treats, costumes, and their favorite toys. It is a simple card game, but a very fun one, and as you can see I've already sunken a "few" hours in and more to come as I want to 100% it. I'd be done with everything already, but the game wants you to win 100 times in challenge mode, which isn't that hard, and if you don't burn yourself out with mindless…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cat Lady is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as a cash grab. It's a basic screen swiping card game that initially might look a little deep, but it's not. You just take turns swiping across a grid of cards to collect three of a variety of cards representing cats and objects that the cats need. Each turn gets you another 3 cards. Collect as many cats as you can and make sure they have all the toys and food they like. You're scored on how many happy cats you have and the objective is…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cat Lady: The Card Game is the digital version of the board game of the same name, where you have to strategically gather cats and cat supplies to end up with the most points at the end of the game. This is a pretty good adaptation of the board game. The rules are pretty much the same as in the physical game and the controls are pretty intuitive. If you're brand new to the game, it's easy to get into and the tutorials are pretty good. The AI players are challenging but not unbeatable. There…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Should add expansions to this game. Game ends too quickly in challenge mode with such a small deck.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This card game is simple, yet addictive. Collect cat cards to win! But they need to be fed! Don't forget toys and costumes! Tip: Always adopt Cow if you can, he can eat all your left over food at the end of the match!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Firstly, the game is super cute and I did really enjoy this card game. The graphics are adorable, which does set up the game to feel like a really cute and relaxing card game. Which I guess it can be relaxing, but it does require some thinking and strategy (especially in the challenge mode, that bot is good!). So, it does take a bit to learn how to properly play. I do wish there was more to the game, like even if it had an online MP feature (it does have a local MP with a shared screen). I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →+ cute and easy card game to chill + fun to play with someone + nice art + meows! +/- grindy if you are a completionist +/- surprisingly unbalanced and challenging when you play solo against AI +/- random can be either annoying or satisfying, depends on how many games you lost in a row :D - very buggy UI - because of the buggy UI my partner sometimes couldn't scroll and click correctly while playing with me through remote play
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cat Lady is more complicated than fun. There's three separate tutorials just to learn the game. There's not much in the way of strategy. It's pointlessly gathering points. Your selection is always limited by the luck of the shuffle, and is often randomly locked. Toys and costumes are just silly fluff. Also, there's a nasty bug the first time you feed your cat. You have to drag the food over instead of just simply clicking it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's ok if you want a very simple, short, cute card game. It's fun if you just want something really casual. It doesn't really have any way of changing up the rules or expansions, and only seems to have 2 difficulty levels limiting replayability once you get good at it, but it's also not an expensive game. It has a walk through tutorial which was appreciated. I'm guessing it's a mobile port? Moving around your card list is really difficult at times, and seems to probably have been geared…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cat Lady - The Card Game is a surprisingly good and addictive little game that kept me coming back for many sessions. The game play is relaxing and perfect for quick rounds and to unwind. The collections room is a great way to keep you hooked. Once you understand the rules, you won't put this down for a while.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The gameplay is fine, though I only did one round. It's fun and thought provoking, while being simple enough to be enjoyed at all ages. The area where all your cats are held however has a horrible scrolling mechanic that doesn't work, so you basically have to blindly click on cats to see them. It's a shame.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Cat Lady - The Card Game" is a delightful and charming card game that will delight cat lovers everywhere. With its cute and quirky illustrations and simple yet engaging gameplay mechanics, this game is a joy to play. Whether you're playing with friends or solo, "Cat Lady" provides hours of entertainment and is a must-have for anyone who loves cats and gaming—highly recommended! I would say after the initial learning curve of the game and learning the target goals, it's a fun mindless card…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great deck-builder card game from AEG; which is short and sweet. The game is fast paced and usually last 10 minutes or so; which involved alot of thinking and decision to be made on what to do. Highly recommended for solo play or even with local friends. Great digital adaption by Nomad Games on this release! **Missing online game-play, and Cat Lady expansions (Box of Treats, Kittens). TLDR: Great card game; Highly recommended; Would love to see online game-play and the missing expansions…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely perfect little logic game. It's cute, the music is inoffensive, and it's cheap. It's perfect with the mouse, I would go as far to say great for all ages tbh. Once you finish a game you collect achievements in a trophy room like in old flash games. Got time to waste but nothing to play? Here you go. It's a very fun, suuuper simple little game, and it's multiplayer too, though I mostly choose to play it against bots. 100% recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this little game, It's cute and fun and each game takes only a few minutes to finish. It's not too easy, not too hard. Just the perfect casual little card game without much fuss.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a simple card strategy game, playable by all ages, even kids. It will particularly appeal to cat enthusiasts, of course. It did not take long to learn how to play and there are enough achievements and play settings to make replay last several months with occasional game play. It's cute, and easy to play at the end of the day to relax and wind down. And it is because of all this that I recommend it.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like cosy card games and cats, grab Cat Lady when it's on sale. The post-game animation sequence is annoying right out of the gate; the developer should ditch it or allow you to skip it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a really cute fun little card game about adopting and looking after cats. I'd love to see an Endless Mode added or some other mode that allows you just play the game without worrying about scoring points. Ultimately, it's a lovely little time-sink.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Those cat ladies are hackers.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple filler game with very little replay value. UI was designed for touchscreens and gets stuck on post-game statistics screen leaving no other choice but to force quit the game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very very cute game. At first I was like "there's no way I'm ever going to understand this" but I picked up it pretty easy :3 (not to say it's "easy", but understanding =/= difficulty lol) If you're going after the achievements, prepare for a bit of a grind at the end to get 100 challenges won, but I enjoyed every game I played even after 200+ of them! The only downside is a small bug with scrolling through your side screen (where the cat cards/all the toys you've collected that game etc).…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Actually got tilted playing a cat card game. Love it. It’s cute on the surface but strategy is definitely apart of this game for real. You really have to think ahead for your next moves and I like how you can potentially block the opponent from grabbing things you want (checking what they have on their list helps) basically blocking them from extra points. Didn’t even know this was a physical card game before animated game but it’s fun simple and the matches don’t take long. The art style is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really cool cat draft card game, where you can become a real cat lady. You need to gather cats, make sure they are fed with their favorite food, have toys to play, costumes to wear, and catnip to go wild. All of this get you points and the one who have more points wins. Up to four players can play at the same time, though unfortunately no multiplayer, so bots or friends at home to play with.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have played similiar score based card/board games before and this one is okay but not amazing. Scoring is too complicated to have a good idea if you are winning or not until the game is basically over. Once you figured this game out the gameplay becomes almost formulaic. 1. If there are strong strays focus on them first 2. Always compete for catnip (get at least 2 in 1v1) 3. Try to take as much food as possible and as little cats as possible (cats that take a lot of food are usually better)…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →We (my friends and I), love this game. It's a hoot. We share the game via screen sharing services and it works a treat. There are a number of bugs I wish they would fix, but otherwise I recommend this game for board/card game nights over the internet.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun and fast, with enough variation to be interesting. Cute art and sound with amusing strategy options. Downsides: no way to set an online game up with friends and no actual rulebook inside the game. The tutorial was good enough to learn to play, but it's annoying not to be able to easily look up rule subtleties later.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →one of my all time favorite card games irl - was so happy to see an electronic version to play against AI's when you have no one to play against with your actual deck. super cute game about collecting cats, feeding them and collecting toys & costumes!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm more of a dog person. It's a chill game and all, but gets repetetive pretty fast, once you learn the ropes. Played all my games against bots, would imagine this being more fun if it was played with friends. A complete grind if you're going for completionist on this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoy this game very much. It is a challenge to try to meet all the winning conditions.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this game on sale impulsively and it was incredibly worth it! This card game has quickly become a favourite and it's fun, cozy and challenging! 100% would recommend :]
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Balance is the name of the game - you have a few different types of cards to stack up on with each type giving a different kind (and amount) of bonus points, so focusing on one or even a couple of them most times will guarantee you lose. Then you have "Stray" cat cards, which will make or break your game plan (two of these are distinctly overpowered...) but don't dawdle, your opponent will be aiming to grab them as well. Overall a fun little card game with a light cat theme, a good mix of…

The central conceit is there is a 3x3 grid of cards, and on your turn you can either take one row or one column of cards. There are cats, food, and other cards. Roughly the goal is to feed as many cats as possible without having any unfed cats or leftover food. The grid mechanic is great, just enough to make each decision interesting without making things too complicated. Do I want that row…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While I like the game, I can't recommend this currently. The loading times can be minutes with my longest being over 5 minutes before I had to reboot. Without an update, I wouldn't recommend buying this.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Casual and fun little card game. It's easy to pick up, relaxing to play, and I got a kick out of facing off against the different grannies. My favorite feature, though, is the achievement room that slowly fills up as you play. It made unlocking everything feel a lot more rewarding and gave me another reason to keep coming back.
