unlabelledView post →Yesterday we played Calico. It's really cute and short and one can get the hang of it quicky, it looks more complicated at first than it is. But... while it has simple rules the options you gain and the ones you lose when placing a tile adds up very quickly. We only played one game (and I won!) but it is clear that you can't play perfectly, you have to give up plans and correct your course multiple times. Calico Wilder and the Crystal Blade (Demo) It's pretty clear this is still a demo and there's a lot to be done, but I'll give a lot of credit to any game with fun, fluid movement! I adored the demo, and moreover adored what little windows we got on the characters. The game felt great to play, but Calico himself is immediately endearing to me.
