Blueprint Tycoon tasks you to setup a manufacturing empire based off some islands. You start with simple export like wood, but you can change your export to more expensive goods later by researching them and building the infrastructure for them (such as the workers, researchers, and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Think of it like a city management game where you flip to some sort of blueprint mode to see clearly, and never turn the graphics back on. It works, it is coherent and entertaining for a bit. There is one big flaw. It confuses complexity with difficulty. I never had any challenge in it, none. It is one of the easiest game I have played in a long long time. Maybe I did it wrong, I dunno. It was very much worth the price though, but I feel like that there is a much better game in there somewhere…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An enjoyable management sim. Fairly easy at the start, but can get complicated with large chain reactions. You can also really get deep by customizing exactly how each building deals with its own input/processing/output - though that is not exactly required. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have many issues with this game, but I love factory builders and did 100% it which is basically going through each of the 6 stages in the game, the first three being tutorials. My biggest issue is the multitude of icons only distinguished by color but no color blind mode or any other indicators AT ALL. Even in the options menu the checkboxes just change color so I can't even tell if they are selected or not. I understand this is a budget game (right?) but even the icons look a bit too MS…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can look past the minimalist graphics and the complete lack of storyline, but without those elements I expect deep and interesting gameplay. Unfortunately once you get past the surface level of crafting requirements the game is more tedious than it is complex, it's pretty obvious what needs to be done, you aren't problem solving interesting puzzles but rather just fighting with the tiny maps to fit all the buildings you need to complete any given task. Once you grasp the gameplay there's…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Blueprint Tycoon is a factory building game with a minimalist theme, and I have to say the game gets full marks for the guts of the game design. There's a number of factors, different buildings, everything a fan of factory builder games could ask for! If you put aside the technical implementation. One important note is that even though this is an amateur project, it does seem to be sincerely and genuinely made. I couldn't find any flipped assets, plagiarism or any other kind of insincere…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is not a simple, idling game as it seems. It is complicated enough. You are creating system blueprints which fully operate on their own. Micro managing can be time consuming and overwhelming at times. I skip that and use default blueprints. Highly recomended. And the price is ridiculously, ubeliavably cheap. Just don't miss it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →minimalistic factorio with free flash game music... do not buy this. To play stuff like this i would preffer to go to Kongregate or newgrounds... FOR FREE
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first two levels were fun as I learnt how to play, but it started to really drag by the third level. Everything just takes too long to happen. Perhaps I'm not very good at optimizing my strategy, but the game doesn't give you an idea of whether it is better to upgrade as high as possible or to make lots of low level buildings. I found the game exciting at first, but when most of a game is waiting around letting it run at full speed until things finally happen, it gets old fast. I don't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I admit I found this because some people on Lemmy were talking about a "Blue Prince" video game, I'd heard about it before and figured I should see what the fuss was about, and in the Steam results for "Blue Prin" were Blue Prince, Blue Print, and **Blueprint Tycoon**. But it looks like a cool little gem.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Blueprint Tycoon is a resource management type game that is designed to look like a blueprint, hence its name. I bought this game believing it to be more like a city builder, and in a way, it is. But it is way more resource management than I expected. Still, I attempted this game only to wind up frustrated with it. The interface is okay, not great - simple for the most part but cumbersome at times. As the player progresses, the management aspect becomes overwhelming. It becomes difficult to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This took a while to hook me - and I cannot say I'm "hooked" more than I can say "I'm willing, at times, to play over 15 minutes in one sitting". The game graphics are primitive enough to project a prototype experience, which does nothing to draw the player in. If you take the time to learn the game mechanics, it becomes a very interesting challenge, although it's a bit arbitrary, since the location of resources on the map is random, but no seed value to allow replaying the same challenge…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Inelegant, unnecessarily convoluted design for a simulation game, with a soundtrack that is straight out of a children's show (children who by the way would have no clue how to operate this game even with the detailed tutorial included). Do yourself a favor and go play Widelands for free on widelands.org or pick up RimWorld if you'd rather play a Steam game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I loved this game, and thought it was underpriced! Should be 400% times more expensive! At full price, its a steal, on sale, its a no brainer! Fundamentally, this is a fun game, and I got a lot of enjoyment out of it. I don't care a whit about the graphics, the game is fun. I got every achievement, and I would consider playing new content, DLC or sequel.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is alright. They is A LOT of managing you have to do and A LOT of planning. If you build the wrong buildings first or if you build too much of something too early, your screwed. There is a lot of layout planning, and a lot of buildings you need to build to make a certain product, which is a bit excesive. The early game is difficult, but after that, the game play should be pretty easy since you should be making enough money to sustain your workers. One of the only concerns I have is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've tried to get into this on a bunch of different occasions now but never have. It's presented like a kind of abstract Factorio-lite, but the UI is rather unhelpful and making the game do what you want it to do usually feels more like clicking random buttons than being in control.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like this style of game, but couldn't get into it. Seems hard to figure anything out, your always moving in and out of items, and there are always a lot of items and a lot of sidewalks, becomes confusing quick.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An interesting idea where you create production chains, expand your operations to do research, and to produce more complex goods. The issue I have with it is that it's just a headache to navigate the interface, and to figure out the logistics of transporting goods from point A to point B to achieve efficiency without constantly twiddling with the number of workers assigned to shifting the materials around. At first I didn't think this was too bad but as the complexity grows, so do the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A resource management game with elements of city building - it's fun for a while, but gets repetitive fast. It has some good ideas, but also suffers from a few problems (mostly with interface). Overall recommended, but it's best if you pick it up on sale or something.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a bit clunky and has minor bugs which show the lack of polish. I wasn't a fan. I liked the developer's Game Corp game much better. It's affordable so you can give it a go if it looks interesting to you, but I don't think this is their best game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The best game to experience and appreciate the sheer beauty of logistics!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very imformative but needed better tutorial
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring. The Game seems like it could go somewhere, then the fun dies. So you can make a network of complexes into a profitable company, and you can manage those complexes by blueprints. The problem is the base Blueprints really don't provide any room for improvement. Ironic it's a good idea on paper, but poorly executed. Also the music gets annoying.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A little bit tedious and the graphics strain the eyes after a while, but the game itself is quite good. It'd be nice to have some better means of optimising production/usage of goods though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For example, of my own games, my biggest successes have been Management games (Game Corp DX, Blueprint Tycoon) so if I suddenly desperately needed a hit I would definitely choose a game idea in the Management genre.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly i can see the dev's put work into this but after a bit of playing i felt like i was just doing the same thing over but on a much larger and more annoying scale. I understand its a tycoon game so i'm open to anyone who feels like my opinion on this game isn't well though out but i just felt like the whole thing was a repetitive loop that despite increasing in difficulty only really used the same set up for all my 6 hours of game play. I really did not enjoy this game but to anyone…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First and foremost, the price is right. It's not uncommon to find this game on sale either. If you like optimizing resource flows in an economy, and minimizing the spacing between individual steps in the process while maximizing the fertility of raw resource harvesters all in the name of efficiency, this is for you. In a lot of ways, Blueprint Tycoon could be considered a budget version of the citybuilding portion of the Anno series if you're familiar with that. For most people including…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yes. It's a "lite" take on the factory building genre and does it well. If you like Factorio or Satisfactory and would like something easier to while away a few minutes or hours, BT will fit the bill. Kudos to the devs for another solid game. ps. Would love the ability to move buildings and retain the routes, hint, hint!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun easy to pick up game. This game can make you spend hours if you're not carefull.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Failed to catch me at tutorial
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am very glad I purchased this game at a steep discount during Steam's Christmas sale. It took about twenty odd hours to beat the base game and unlock all but four of the achievements without really trying. I could have unlocked one of those had I been paying attention. (I didn't actually need to perform the action that would unlock it.) Another ten odd hours were spent re-playing one of the base scenarios because I was certain I could do better the second time around. (And I did.) After…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun game to play, simple to learn the basics but you can expand to really complex things.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't mind the graphics. Turn off the music. And if you like puzzles and not afraid to get your hands dirty with lots of micromanagement, then you can have lots of fun. Sure it may looks cheap and has only 6 maps, but they can be pretty complex and have content more than enough. Back for more? Steam workshop have some offers, too. However, the terrible UI can not be forgiven. Do you hear me, devs ?? I'm talking about all those times when you have to make ten clicks just to do only one thing.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is quite fun and only requires a small amount of input for a great output. ;)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm afraid I can't really recommend it for money. Gameplay isn't bad and the 3€ aren't much, but the UI sucks and late/endgame has very noticeable performance issues. I recommend playing other games over this one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great satisfying resource management game with repetitive gameplay and interface issues
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The controls and UI are borderline unusable, whoever made this has never played a game in this genre, or even play tested this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10 Budget Factorio.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →REally bad game, but I got it for less than a dollar, so I won't refund. Has one of the most annoying UIs I've ever used, isn't fun in the least.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Controller support would be nice
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Expected a bit less blue. Guess this was a blueprint tycoon for disaster.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decent colony sim and factory game. My first impression was good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Maybe I didn't take enough time before I got irritated. The tutorial is not very clear. I can't figure out how to rotate pieces. I was trying to play on a laptop with no mouse attached, and I got frustrated and quit within 10 minutes. I guess I'll try again when I have a mouse to use.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Much Blueprint. 7/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Incompatible with up-to-date macOS.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Factorio with workers instead of inserters and transport belts. The difference is that workers can complain and have some needs from you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cool and simple management game. Good music. It could have better graphics.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a lovely little factory game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun casual game, although it needs some thinking. Easy to get 100% achievements and has workshop where other players share their scenarios. 10/10 would recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun, thinky game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a colony building and resource management game, but without any story, flavor or purpose. It's just too abstract, both in terms of graphics and gameplay. I found it really hard to care about anything that was happening on the screen. The game also makes simple things unnecessarily complex and inflexible. For example you have to manually set up each delivery route and assign workers to them. It makes me wonder why there even needs to be dedicated workers for each route instead of workers…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun and complex game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm annoyed by this game. There's not much wrong with it, it's just that there's so much better similar games out there. It played of the prison architect halo and didn't go very far with the concept. Disapointed.
