60 of 188 · most liked firstA fun, but albeit frustrating ninja management game. Ninja Tycoon by Endless Loop Studios is a ninja management sim. The premise is that you begin with a few workers who start building your resource areas. From there, you can build housing for your workers, more resources, training facilities, and ninja quarters. Don’t get too comfortable because you’ll face Raids as well. If your Ninja aren’t prepared for Raids, you’ll lose buildings that will take up resources to repair. The game starts off…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While the game is rather simple and repetitive, it includes polished mechanics and doesn't try to do everything at once (like a lot of other games from the same genre), but rather focus on what it does best. There is a lot of possible improvements, enhancements and expanding the game, especially in terms of gameplay and strategy. I can't say that the game is "good", because it's nothing that you wouldn't see offered for free in those old classic adobe flash games. There is no real "tycoon"…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Considering that there are games now at the price of 20-30 euros with a 2-3 hour longevity, this game is worth it's money, it's a fun little game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/33025671-Missi-the-Achievement-Huntress/] Please see my curator page for more games that are worth your time Info Game: This is a simple and short tycoon game. You build a ninja clan who go on missions to earn money and other items for you. You also want workers who collect different materials for you to build more buildings that helps improve your ninjas. At the start of the game this game really holds your hand with the tutorial but after that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not recommended, but has some positive points. I really think the concept is quite interesting and the game has a great initial charm to it. The graphics are appealing and the management aspect is pretty smooth. The biggest drawbacks for me were the simplicity and lack of real strategic depth. Again, its not a bad game, just not deep enough to keep me interested.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if i leave this a review will it stop asking me to leave it a review every time i exit? edit: nope. sigh. i don't mind getting spammed with ads for other games and review requests in free games, but it's a bit much in a paid game. still, it's a cute wee game that'll kill a few hours without taking much focus.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A short review for a short game: I enjoyed playing this game for about an hour or so, it feels kind of like the good old flash games I used to play as a kid. Easy to understand mechanics, some simple interactions and thats it. I was hoping though that it had some more to offer, but it is clear to me after completing the first mission that this will get monotonous and boring. I'm not sure I got my moneys worth out of this game. I could refund it given how little time I got with it, but I wont…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wish i could say i enjoyed this, and at first i did. it was relaxing and enjoyable. you build a base within limited area. train ninjas and reap rewards. what isn't to love? it is when you switch regions that the game went downhill for me. because it introduces a mechanic where you NEED to send ninjas you train to friendly bases (you no longer have influence over them) this is a frequent thing and you also need to NEED high level ninjas to reduce the bar that comes with it. that causes game…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is seriously broken. Once you are moving on to the second land, all you are doing is to send Ninjas to the first world. You can't train new Ninjas fast enough for them to be effective, making any progress impossible, at some point even buying new Ninjas is not fast enough to counter the ever ticking bar. Especially since you can send only one per opening the menu. But the dev does not seem to care anymore. No patch since 2018. Fun for a few hours, but it is very, very simplistic.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This a fairly simple time management game. Hire workers for resources, use resources for buildings, etc. The ninja aspect is just a theme, you are very much a manager and don't have any direct control. If you want depth and complexity, this isn't the game for you. But if you just want something to fiddle with for a few hours, you could do worse. It's just a very basic tycoon game with a ninja theme. Full price ($5) is somewhat pushing the limit of what it's worth, I'd suggest waiting for a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of the games that needs a "Meh" rating. It's a casual builder game; build up an enclosed base, research some upgrades, send Ninjas on increasingly difficult missions, leather, rinse, repeat, get the "You win" screen, then decide whether or not you can be bothered to play the arcade mode long enough to get that last achievement. It's not terrible, it just doesn't have much/any depth. Better to get on sale. I ended up giving a no, because the replayabilty is low, and I couldn't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ninja Tycoon From the creators of Game Corp DX we find Ninja Tycoon, a title that sets us in medieval Japan where we will have to try to bring forward a colony by managing resources, units and buildings. Can you take this small town out of misery or it will only become the ashes of your enemies? Positive Points •First of all, there is nothing to emphasize the fact that the game is available in 13 different languages and so far I have not noticed any problems in the translations I have used…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ninja Tycoon is an enjoyable little management game. The main idea is to train a ninja team. You'll need ninjas to be trained and equiped in order not only to defend your settlement from invasions and to complete specific missions, but also to be able to send military support to the city. To do so it's necessary to build a basic economy so to have some resources and money to rely on. You'll need them to recruit ninjas, build barracks and training fields, have a blacksmith (=good…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'll be honest, I really wanted to like this game. For a "fully released" game, however, I cannot recommend it, though. There are many bugs (ie. ninjas getting stuck in a "training loop' where they don't gain any skills training and never leave the training area, or you send ninjas on a mission, but they never leave). Along with the fact that I was able to achieve every single achievement in 2.5 hours...it is a very dull game...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was really hoping this game was going to be good. However, I was rather disappointed. The game felt more like a mobile time management game than anything. The game has 3 phases. Phase 1: Gather resources, build more resource generators and learn upgrades. Phase 2: Send ninjas out to lvl 10 mission and expand territory. Phase 3: Repeat phase 1/2 all the while you are constantly hiring, training and sending out ninjas to previous outposts for support. Mid game (phase 2) was the only part I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like most of the reviews, this looked like a fun little simulation/tycoon game at the beginning, but as you start the game you're bombarded with an annoying tutorial that takes way too long. The game is over simplified, and has no real "tycoon" game feel to it. You're presented with a square, you build some pre-made buildings, and you send things on quests, it's boring, repetitive, and just not fun.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wouldn't pay full price for this one but getting it on sale for $1.24 was worth it. I 100%'ed it in 5 or 6 hours and it remained fun for those hours.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sadly I cannot recommend this game. Every 45 seconds I was attacked by a raid which would instantly wipe everything. I tried upgrading the Ninjas, upgrading the gear, and upgrading the towers for defense, yet to no prevail. I would have to constantly watch my entire progress be wiped, with nothing I could do about it. I eventually discovered a glitch that let me instantly repair my buildings, which was the only way to continue playing unfortunately. The game itself did not have a lot, however…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has potential: +ninjas +clear mission expectations (ability bars) +ninja designs -not enough tycoonish -non customizable ninjas (names and outfit) -no variety of weapons -you can't assign weapons to particular ninjas -rides are boring, no diversity in defence tactics -it's hard to find ninjas eligible for special training that don't have a speciality (the white arrows get lost when you have 10 ninjas and 7-8 already have a speciality and all the bars are full -resources become…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun concept, but badly made game. Basically, when you get to the second area, a new game mechanic comes into play, where you need to send ninjas back to the first area. Each ninja you send, the stronger they are, the further back they push the threat level. The problem is, the threat level rises faster than you can train ninjas. I had 8 training grounds going training 8/10 of my ninjas, trying to recover my ninja strength, and the old settlement kept sucking me dry, until I only had recruits,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extremely basic "tycoon" game. The content is minimalistic and the gameplay is almost non existant. Before the first hour is over you've already seen everything there is.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like your other games but come on it's like a facebook game And it's $4.99 that's just not right
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was all going very well until the game started to get glitches. Basically I had conquered most of all the first assassination missions and had trained ten ninjas to their premium level even. But thats not the point. The point is that the game was supposed to progress way further than that. What I mean to refer to is that when you get to the point in the game where you are enabled to conquer other settlements that is where glitches started to happen. I had all of the resources necessary in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ninja Tycoon is a small-scale management and simulation game developed and published by Endless Loop Studios that invites players to take control of a growing ninja village and guide it from a humble settlement into a dominant force. The premise is immediately appealing, combining the familiar appeal of tycoon-style base building with a light fantasy take on feudal Japan and ninja culture. Rather than focusing on direct combat or action, the game emphasizes growth, organization, and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Works well. But not really fun.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little game however pretty basic and repetitive. The achievements are simple to collect on a single play-through with little effort. Gameplay - Very basic Graphics - Good Enough Audio - Suitable Story - None Game Time - Couple Hours Bugs - Small ones Difficulty - Very Easy Achievement Grind - Minimal Achievement Difficulty - Very Easy Lycos Rating: Chunin
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One hour in it feels really repetitive. The creators could have been able to do a lot more as the concept and original idea is good.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is actually pretty hard at the end. get it if its real cheap. decent strategy tycoon type game. 3.5/5
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's in development and i get that. It has a lot of potential and when it reaches it i'll change my review to positive. For the moment its boring though. There is a lack of depth to the missions, they are not satisfying. There is also a lack of buildings, i would love decorations, roads, and other amenities. It was satisfying to complete the first map but to then be thrown into managing my village while rapid training ninja to send back to the first village got old quick. At the moment its…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought this on Humble Bundle for like $2 and Honestly still wouldn't recommend it... No real substance to make it enjoyable
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I actually liked it for quite a while, but then after the first region, it seemed like the same thing all over again. The limitations of the amount of ninja and levels you're able to reach really turns the whole thing into a bore. I'd have liked to see more interesting gameplay, maybe star characters that carry over and the removal of success cap (where no matter how high your ninja stats are or how many you send, it's a flat rate 80% success and a chance your people are going to die despite…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is not a bad game, but it probably shouldnt have 'tycoon' in the name. An EXTREMELY basic management game. Within 1.5 hours I had unlocked and built everything available. The raids (both defense and offense) are a monotonous grind with no variation. A really big negative for me was that the tutorial is forced, so get ready to experience it EVERY SINGLE TIME. I think the concept this game had gave it a lot of potential, but alas failed to use it. If you pick this up and a massively reduced…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →COMPLETE ♥♥♥♥ The is fun at first but gets boring. THe raids are trash can you please try to make them harder as days go on. The missons are also trash all you do is wait for your ninja then bam either he does get gold or doesn't. Maybe let us try to see the mission that we nare sending our ninja do and to maybe fight as the ninja.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a bit short but still very fun. I'm sure the developer will be adding much more as it was just recently released. I saw a promotion on reddit but sadly wasn't fast enough to get a free key for the game. I don't regret spending the $5 on it. The music is fun and quirky and matches what you expect for a game about ninjas. The graphics are cute, funny, and reminds me alot of prison architect or Game Corp Dx (which makes sense since that game I believe coems from the same developer).…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fun, for a few hours, but at the moment theirs a serious lack of content. You can build some stuff, train some ninjas, send them on missions, and defend against raids, but that's it. I agree with what a few reviews are saying, it feels more like a half made mobile game than anything, but I can't really call it bad, just unfinished. I can only hope it continues to receive updates and additional content. But I Don't think id recommend it until it gets a little more content.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tycoon-light game with a certain degree of charme. Fun for about 7-10 hours. Bought it for 4,34€ incl. another game from the same dev. For that price I can't complain about the content. Don't expect a deep and content-rich game for a few quid. I can recommend it cause it offers decent value for the low price. Only buy if you don't expect more than several hours of gameplay.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Incomplete game. Upgrades are too few. Ended game within like 24 minutes..
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its exactly what you think it is. fun for a few hours. Is it amazing no, does it have mind bending graphics, no. Worth $1 for sure
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kind of a buggy mess. I think I got this super cheap. It strikes me as someones first game. I'm only giving it the thumbs up to not bag on a small developer but know what you're getting into before you buy, even on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has a very boring gameplay loop, and it feels incredibly repetitive just after approximately an hour. After getting all the upgrades and necessary buildings, which does not take long whatsoever, you are repeating the same six steps till the end of the game. In the arcade mode, you add two additional steps into the whole process if you wish to achieve the highest score possible. But every step just takes a few seconds at most. Thus, you are repeating the same few mouse clicks and open…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed playing the game but i wish it had more to research and more things as i found it short and got past the first area quickly
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ninja Tycoon is a cute builder / tycoon type management game that is inspired by a variety of sources, but the lack of tutorial or hint guide means it can be on occasion, be quite frustrating to play. The premise is pretty simple: you got a plot of land and building a village, and you need to grow it properly. Build houses to support your laborers, build mines to mine gold, harvest wood, dig for iron, then build ninja houses to hire and house ninjas. Then you get to upgrade them by building…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice little management game ^^
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little casual tycoon game, not unlike many others in the genre. Can be quite addictive.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Last update for this came out 1224 days ago. The game came out on 26 Feb, 2018, so yea. If you do the math, It's obviously abandoned. This game clearly needs a patch to be better. Main issue of this game was the raid system. It simply needs to be adjusted, It's ridiculous. The game isn't expensive, It was quite cheap. I didn't expect much from it, but it's just sad. Ninja Tycoon is mostly alright in my opinion. But: that raid stuff does ruin the experience. I just gave up on this game after two…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Couldn't stop playing! This is cutting into my development time :) I may have to stick to Code Monkey's instruction videos, LOL. Super fun game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've only played the game for about an hour. One sign of a game for which care is taken: the basic terrain units don't repeat themselves endlessly. From the status bars for the ninjas to the basic but well-thought-out base design, this one looks like a keeper, especially for a $2 game! Buy it now or suffer the wrath of never knowing what might have been. If I were to design a game, I wouldn't feel ashamed for a moment if I had made this one.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros It's an okay game, but nothing really stands out to me that would want me to convince another to buy it. As many of the other reviews suggest, this is a very simplistic game. However, that does not mean it is easy in the slightest. Cons It does a bad job of explaining more complicated bits. It ramps up in difficulty extremely quickly, but not so much that it makes the game broken. Repetitive Not advanced at all, could be a mobile game if the developers wanted to. Noticeable glitches:…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played this on stream for the first time, everything ran smoothly as it should. I truly enjoyed the game. I thought it was a lot of fun from the different challenges you face, to friends/viewers names showing up on the hiring lists. I found it to be rather amusing, even my viewers enjoyed that. I also enjoyed the speed up button as well, I consider that as a nice feature to hurry along the process of scouting or killing the clan leaders/getting resources faster. I played I think for around 5…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →nice game to pass the time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finished the game in about 2.6 enjoyable hours. Graphics were good. No bugs or crashes. Gameplay was kinda simplistic, not much dept. For the little amount of content in the game, it has a very polished feeling. Game felt way too easy after the very first attach wave. Resources are almost not a thing, as you always end up with too much. Haven't found myself waiting before I could buy something. Being limited to your fort size and being giving the choice to place your buildings has no value at…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty short (I finished it in the amount of total playtime listed). You should only buy this on discount. A few bugs that you have to work around, but nothing that can't be solved by just saving and reloading. Overall a neat time waster, but pretty shallow. If you like the concept of making everybody else do the dirty work of taking over Japan while you sit back and order them to murder in your name for gold and glory, you'll have a fun time, for as long as it lasts.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its such a simple game and type of tycoon but is so very satisfying. I would recommend playing if you like city building games. It is quite fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very small game, even after getting 100% completed, and through the Arcade version, it was around 4 hours. But got it with 50% discount, so a dirt cheap game that is semi fun for a couple of hours. There is a too much repetitiveness in the game, and the game have a mechanism where you have to send units back to the former base. It increases the speed to make the the game take longer, which is kind of annoying.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A pleasant little resource management game. Definitely, worth the price tag.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →nice time sink to prevent you from gambling away all your money in say a CCG like Duelyst or Artifact. only one MAJOR problem. it flashes bright white when you click on a ninja who completed a mission. warning raiders can and will rob your equipment. do not let them reach your wood farms and worker houses. especially those two. other wise if you don't have enough wood to get a worker house AND a logger just restart because I don't think there are any missions that give wood. Gold, stone, Iron…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A pleasant little resource management game. The game mechanics are simple and forgiving, with increasing difficulty. Later levels get very difficult to manage, and a game can drag on simply because you are constantly training ninjas only to send them away. I does get repetitive, and has no replay value, but still nice. Worth a playing through one time.
