It definitely fulfills the promise of real time with pause gameplay being fun and active, there's not doubt about that. However, the writing is just so hard to stomach. There's bugs, but I only encountered one which forced me to restart a mission so far. The visuals sometimes have issues with showing the correct character portraits. And I feel like a number of the mechanics aren't really explained; I've been trying to figure it out on my own. That said, I'll still recommend this. I think once it receives a few patches it'll be a really good game.
