unlabelledView post →Okay I don’t know the comic character of Taskmaster but I imagine she’s very similar to how Taskmaster was portrayed in the Black Widow movie, in which case I’m not sure how much there is to discover about her

Wolverine" (2009) Best Black Widow movie? "Avengers Confidential: Black Widow & Punisher" (2014). Might also be best Punisher film.

I loved the out-of-control Hulk design & enjoyed Peter's banters with Punisher and Black Widow. Overall, it was a solid film.

unlabelledView post →Whenever I talk about the Black Widow XXX movie I think of that one time where I was sitting on Twitch with @jaws-stone.bsky.social telling them about it, and then some dude came in and went „GIRLS WATCH PORN?!!?!!“ and he never recovered for the rest of stream. 💀

Famous for his many gangster roles in film such as SCARFACE, PICK-UP, STOLEN HARMONY, EACH DAWN I DIE, THEY DRIVE BY NIGHT, JOHNNY ANGEL, BLACK WIDOW, A BULLET FOR JOEY, SOME LIKE IT HOT, and more.
unlabelledView post →I’m rewatching Black Widow because, y’know… Thunderbolts, and people were way too hard on this movie when it came out. The action scenes in this movie rock.
unlabelledView post →idk man- I think we got him in Fortnite by pure coincidence of them needing a Marvel filler and the Black Widow movie being announced. I wouldn’t hold my breath he gets added to it, someone also made the argument that he has a skull and this is also published in China, so- Udon look if any? At best?
unlabelledView post →In retrospect I think the timing for the Black Widow movie really affected its reception being a lockdown movie, and coming after Endgame. Seeing how influential the characters have been in all the new shows and movies, I think this movie is a lot better than we gave it credit fo
unlabelledView post →Five reasons I am looking forward to Thunderbolts*. Okay, it's five different images of the same reason: David Harbour as Red Guardian, including his appearance at ComiCon. One of the pics (with the tattoos) is from the Black Widow movie instead, but... Alexei was and still is a hot daddy bear.

We know for a fact that studio execs were actively putting off a Black Widow film. The same ones who fought against other diverse projects like Black Panther being made.
unlabelledView post →Watched Captain America: Civil War over the weekend. I really want to catch up with the MCU movies (yes, this is how far behind I am). Good movie, a bit longer than it needed to be, but it was fun! Black Widow is next chronologically, so I'll be watching it next!

unlabelledView post →Next week I'll be writing about a new show called Furious, which claims some relationship to a classic, neglected serial killer movie; Bob Rafelson's 1987 thriller Black Widow. I was wowed by this as a teenager; Debra Winger and Theresa Russell star. 4 out of 5. film-authority.com/2026/07/19/b...

unlabelledView post →Black Widow cameos in X-Men 97 with her 90s look. I've always said it, but had they made a Black Widow or Avengers movie in the 90s, Cynthia Rothrock should have played her.

unlabelledView post →Rewatched Black Widow. Still a mixed bag of a film, and Florence Pugh is easily the standout in the cast. You can tell it wants to be about autonomy and control, but Ray Winstone's villain is very weak, so that gets undermined. The action beats are too OTT for what should be a grounded outing.
unlabelledView post →We people this mad when Captain America had Black Widow in his movie? Or when Thor had Dr. Strange in one of his movies? Or when Shield was in a Thor movie? Or when- You get the point.
unlabelledView post →Great Performances: Birthday Edition Theresa Russell ×4 in Bob Rafelson's diabolical BLACK WIDOW (1987). Dons many wigs & accents on relentless pursuit of wealth thru murder! Debra Winger on her tail, even gets into some homoerotic subtext. Russell is stunning! Happy Birthday 3/20/57! #filmsky 📽

He told Disney to release MCU films in cinemas first for long runs after the Black Widow release disaster, industry SAVED. Literally. Guy lives and breathes cinema.

unlabelledView post →This moment, in the first Avengers movie, was designed by shot creator Hunter Athey. I remember because I had the scene that follows this: where Black Widow boards the alien skiff and commandeers it. It’s a shame that two important Black Widow sequences were omitted due to time.

unlabelledView post →Finally got around to watching Black Widow and boy that sure is some overwrought orchestration for a fairly thin film. At least we got Yelena out of it.
unlabelledView post →Still my favorite MCU film. Evan's work to humanize an idealized heroic figure like Steve Rogers is under-praised, and SJ is so good as Black Widow that it's still baffling that they couldn't manage a James Bond in a world of supers movie she deserved.
unlabelledView post →We did get a real Black Widow movie with Scarlett. I watched it in the theaters three times. Bought the DVD too. It's on Disney+
unlabelledView post →It's kinda crazy that Yelena is one of the biggest characters in the MCU even though she's only got not much over 100 appearances in the comics and honestly a lot of that after Flo first played her in the Black Widow movie.
