60 of 85 · most liked firstbit Dungeon is a rogue like and dungeon crawler game with a lot of random doungeons to explore. I think this is the first chapter of the saga and this time there is a story behind. As development team said: "you and your wife were captured by demons! then you have been trapped in a dungeon for a thousand years asleep and when you wake up trapped in cell, you have to grab your weapon and find your wife" You start each level in a different point of a dungeon and then, you have to kill monsters…

You can basically play this one for free on the web, but you can always support the developper by buying this one. Having really enjoyed Bit Dungeon II and the original one back on Kongregate, I felt like buying this one.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bit Dungeon appears at first as a nice game. The pixel art style of it is really nice, the combat is okay, random loot found in chests feels progressing. There is a number of cool looking monsters and enemies to slay on every 10-room floor. If you play longer than few first levels you will quickly find that themes of the floors are looped and every few levels you meet the same characters, same bosses and everything looks the same. The game would be fun if ends max around 15-20 level. The way…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Summary: (longer version below) The game offers no real challenge, is short and with barely any replayability but at least there is a great variety of items. Priced at 1$, you know what to expect just bear in mind that the achievements won't go towards your global completion percentage just yet. Achievements: Cloud Saving: Trading Cards: Workshop: YES NO NO NO Click…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A simple point and click rogue-like dungeon crawler. For the $0.32 you can find it on sale for, it's a good time. If you do pick this up, there are a few pointers i can give: The game is entirely point and click, and your character seems to automatically use their melee attack when near enemies. To use magic hold left click. Mouse over your red/blue circle to see your in-game stats to keep track of your hp/atk/crit Try to wear matching armor for set bonuses. You won't be told that they…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an epic and addictive game! Although it gets repetitive, it still keeps you coming back for another run from time to time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short and sweet adventure game, you can probably 100% it within an hour or two, but I like the simplicity of it. Recommended for a short but fun run.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gameplay is really repetative. Took me several tries to kill the final boss. Its up to RNG to get some good loot before the boss fight
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →bit Dungeon 1 - Pleasantly surprised with this entry. I played the entire series in a weird way, started with 2, loved it. Got 3, played it, didn't like it. Saw 1, got it and played it and loved it. 3 I felt they backtracked, but can't recall why I disliked it. Anyways, this game has you running through the dungeons, battling enemies and bosses to get different stats on weapons and face another floor as you progress. The trick is, when you are ready, you go to the spirit realm by using your…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's been almost an entire month since I've posted the last official #streamschedule ! I recently discovered that Bit Dungeon II, a rogue-lite adventure indie game that is dear to me, got a followup a few years ago, so we're going to play it! Oh and also Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. Yiih.

Explore procedurally generated dungeon layouts, tapping your iPhone screen to kill baddies and loot chests and pretend there's something meaningful going on. They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great minimalist casual RPG game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not really my style but it was good. Dont have the second game but I have the 3rd one and im going to start that soon.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super fun and highly addictive with a very simple gameplay, great pixel arts and ear-catchy OSTs & sounds effect.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome game! Fun and addictive, transformed my boring sunday night into a fun one, at a really cheap price ;) Recommended!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is super fun! I love how you have randomization in the game. Nothing beats a good ol' classic pixel game. I enjoy the monsters you face and the classic sounds used in the game. I can't wait to play more! I do wish there was a bit more explanation on what to do, but you can easily figure that out fast. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was surprised that the Playdate SDK license requires each game to have a @cabel.panic.com NPC in it. 1-Bit Dungeon is now compliant!
unlabelledView post →Cheap, short, simple, and fun. Could be a little less of a stat-grind to take on the final boss, but an hour of satisfying game play for a dollar is hard to argue against.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Go get lifesteal stats and cheese the game XD
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun little action roguelike that only requires a mouse to play. The pixel artstyle and music are both pretty good, and the gameplay is surprisingly intuitive for having such a minimal control scheme. The game's length could be taken as either a good or bad thing—taking only about a half hour to two hours to complete a playthrough—but it does offer decent replay value. My only major complaint is that both the game and achievements are not reflected in the respective counts for both…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played Bit Dungeon II multiple times so I bought this thinking it would be just as relaxing & mildly interesting. It was for the first 50 floors. By the time I hit around 80 I was playing just to see the end. I ended up making it to floor 176 when I died & wound up back at 1. I AM NOT playing through all that again & I cannot recommend this game unless you like boredom, impotent anger, & feeling like your head is bleeding from banging it against a brick wall. If you still want to play this…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its really just progression based click as fast as you can on the boss
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i liked the game rlly much if it didnt had the profile limited tag on it i would have played it more but instead it didnt even show up on my perfect achievements list like how is it that the other 2 games dont have this but this one does?? this is just annoying it took me 4 hours to defeat the final boss just to realize that the achievements arent working i permanently removed it because i didnt see a reason to keep it if the achievements aint even working
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10 simple roguelike
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bit Dungeon is a simple, linear point and click roguelike dungeon crawler that is surprisingly entertaining. The gameplay loop is very straightforward, enter rooms, fight enemies, and move on, with little complexity or story getting in the way. The game is very short, I beat it in about 2 hours, but given the 1 dollar price point, it is honestly not bad at all. It is more of a quick arcade style roguelike experience than a deep dungeon crawler, and it works well in that space. That said, it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →not a bad buy for 99 cents but it isn't exactly all that much fun still worth it if you like dungeon crawlers though
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A loop of 5 maps with 5 Bosses, you fight, move and cast with your LMB Pointless, nothing is even remotely interesting or memorable, no lore, no characters nothing just a generic mix of genres which cosplays as a clicker. The worst thing is i also have Bit Dungeon 2 (remeber to play your games as soon as you buy them)
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is good looking 2D rogue-like game, which you controll only buy mouse. It was previously flash game for mobile phones. Gameplay concept is original, graphics look good and price is also very low. But there is some serious gimmicks. Problem is, that game will get quickly repetitive. After you finish first five levels, you start new round with same environments, only with more powerfull enemies. Sure, you can finish game right after first round of dungeons, but it is very hard to encounter…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Grade: C Lightweight rogue-like dungeon crawler, pretty fun, fast loading, low resource intense for PC, music decent but limited, menu/system could use fixing, definitely could use save file because: Annoying a$$ achievement to kill soul collector, takes too damn long to get any gear worth being able to defeat, cant be bothered replaying it a thousand times just to kill the POS and get the wife's soul, gtfo with that. In any case, worth a play, pretty good on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super simpel aber man kann looten :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very Basic Dungeon Crawler with Mouse + Keyboard Only Controls. Even if simple and Short, it gets the Job Done Very Well if you need something short and Chill. Some things did Bother me while playing, but they weren't that much of an issue: Healing Potions stop healing when leaving an Area (not a bad thing, considering Healing Potions can be easily Farmed by going back to Cleared rooms and killing Enemies over there) Sometimes, after a Screen Transition, Enemies stand right in front of the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →nostalgic, simple, cheap.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First played this as a Flash game, enjoyed it enough to buy the full game. Plays quite a bit like the original Binding of Isaac, although you can choose to end your run at any time. There isn't really a final boss...or is there? I'll leave that to the player to discover...

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome indie game, short but enjoyable.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quite fun and simple game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →bit Dungeon is a roguelike dungeon-crawler game where you slay demons & search for your wife. As you upgrade your gear, the difficulty increases. The game is fun, the variety of items is great, the diversity of environments & monsters are OK. The gameplay mechanics are quite simple, using only the mouse. Overall, a good game to buy when it's cheap.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's good for the first developed game. It has nice visual style. But it's too easy. I didn't have a challenge. And it's too repetitive.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome short little game with a weird movement system. It's great but I do think it should be free.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bit Dungeon is a fast-paced 2D hack and slash adventure game where you play as a warrior who is travelling through a dungeon gaining new weapons, armour and abilities as you fight off hoards of enemies in each dungeon having to fight a boss at the end of each level giving you access to the next level as well as new gear. Graphics- 8bit Soundtrack- Good Audience- Kids and Teenagers Difficulty- alright gets harder as you go into later levels Story- Somewhat of a story Game time- It's got a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →cute lil casual action roguelike with a cute pixel art
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game to kill time, I would buy if it is on sale because this game does get very repetitive after a while. I hope the second version and the third version are better!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game and it's been one of my favourite armour games to play on Steam it's nice to see borrower games come to Steam from armour games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was fun. Its simply a dungeon crawler. its endless, so you can keep going through and it randomizes the floors, but they're always 3x3. The sequels are much better, but this was fun for what it is.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →bitDungeon is a small game, perfect if you have less than 30 minutes to spare and want to play a quick round of something. This something in this game is fighting monsters, grabbing loot, and killing bosses. There are only a few achievements that, I assume, are rather easy to unlock. I can't really complain much especially when I bought it on the sale. It was super cheap.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is weird. Its controls are weird, its difficulty is weird, its monsters are weird, etc. But it's fun to play, so it would be a crime to leave a negative review for it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cons- - Lots of clicking, no way to hold to move - No options menu, game is loud af - Short and somewhat easy(so far) Pros- - its like 30 cents on sale - couple hrs of fun murdering stuff lots of clicking as spam clicking gives dps!!
